KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora couldn't help but let out a cry of pain as the paramedics tended his wound. It hurt so much! He felt tears flood his eyes.

 

OOC: Wait, are we in the hospital now?

 

OOC: Ooops, typo on my part. I'll change it.

Sora clamped his eyes shut more, trying to block out the pain.

 

The two paramedics jumped out of the ambulance as it pulled up in front of the hospital. "Miss," one of them said.

Kairi quickly got out of the vehicle and waited for the two men to take out the stretcher. Once they did, they started pushing it toward the entrance, and Kairi followed beside them. They reached the hall and she walked in a very quick pace beside the mobile cot, holding Sora's hand. The doctors and nurses grabbed the stretcher from the paramedics and took over, rushing it down the hall. Kairi only gripped Sora's hand harder. "You're going to be all right. Okay, Sora? Don't leave me."

Those were the last words she could say to him before one of the nurses made her stop behind two swinging doors. She stopped dead in her tracks, watching him disappear behind the doors with tear-stained cheeks.

 

Sora didn't want to let go of Kairi's hand. It was too comforting. It let him know that he was still alive.

Sora wasn't a doctor, but he knew that the bullet had come close to his heart. Or lungs. Or something important. Either way, he was in trouble. Now he was in a bright white room. What was going to happen now?

 

OOC: Do you want to skip a couple hours and the operation? Or do you want to take over the role of the doctors and such?

 

OOC: I don't really feel like controlling the doctors, so we can skip through the operation.

Sora felt a doctor put a needle in his arm. A kind nurse said that the pain would go away soon. Then, his world went black.

Sometime later, Sora woke up in a room, extremely drowsy.

 

OOC: Okay.

She had a hold of his hand, and looked his way when she heard him move. "You're awake," she whispered.

 

Sora looked over at Kairi, opening his eyes a tiny bit. His eyelids felt like they weighed a ton. "How long was I out?" He said quietly, not having much strength.

 

"A couple hours," Kairi said. She brought her hand to his head and smoothed some of his spikes out of his eyes.

 

"Oh." Sora was too groggy to say anything else. He would have grabbed Kairi's hand, but he couldn't move his arm.

 

Kairi gripped Sora's hand that rested on the bed. "Thank you, Sora." She smiled and put a hand on his forehead. "Get some rest. I'll talk to you when you wake up."

 

"Wait...thanks...for what?" Sora asked, turning his head a little.

 

"Saving my life." Kairi smiled slightly. "You didn't have to, but you did anyway."

 

"Oh." Sora took in a breath. "Of course I had to."

 

She shook her head. "Get some sleep, lazy bum," Kairi whispered. "We'll talk more when you're fully awake."

 

Sora smiled a little bit and shut his eyes again.

 

Kairi squeezed his hand and sat by his side until he would fall asleep.

 

Sora's heart rate increased when Kairi's hand was on his. It was so comforting. It helped him ignore the pain as he once again fell into a deep slumber.

 

OOC: Another time gap? xD

Once Kairi was sure Sora was asleep, able to tell by his even breathing, she squeezed his hand before getting up to go home and change.

OOC: You don't mind if she changes into her pink outfit do you? Considering we're not at work.
