KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora turned around after the door had slammed shut. He sighed, unsure of what to feel. His mind was probably playing tricks on him again. There's no way that Kairi could possibly love him...or even have crush on him. It was impossible.

 

Kairi stepped out into the sunshine. She fumbled with her nails as she went toward the front of the restaurant, right near the windows, and sat down on the curb. She suddenly had butterflies. Was it Sora making her this way? Did Love feel like this?

She sighed, looking across the street at the Burger King. A part of her wanted to go back inside and be with Sora, but another wanted to be out in the sunshine.

 

Sora finished taking a customer's order and looked around the McDonalds. It was pretty empty. He pulled his cell phone and text Roxas. "Whaz up?" Click. Send. The phone snapped shut. The teenager looked forward, glad that nobody had seen him texting.

 

Roxas was wiping off a spotless table again out of boredom. His cell phone vibrated in his pocket and he took it out, seeing the new text message from Sora. He read it and hit Reply. 'nuthin. bored. u?' he texted back. He clicked Send and snapped his phone shut.

 

'can u go on break?' Sora text back.

 

'we hav no business. so ya.' He sent the message.

 

'meet me @ wendys' Sora sent his message. He needed to talk to somebody about how he was feeling, and since Roxas was available, he might as well talk to his other.

"I'm going on break." Sora announced as he left his post and exited through the back door.

 

Roxas checked his phone and then snapped it shut, shoving it in his pocket. "Going on break, guys," he called as he walked out the door. Wendy's was his destination, and there he headed.

Kairi watched as Roxas walked out of his workplace and started toward Wendy's. This made her curious, and she arched a brow. Just then, Sora had walked out of McDonald's and was heading the same direction. She was really confused, but stayed out of it, and instead just watched the two boys head over there.

 

Riku finished cooking a few more orders, then sat down in a chair and sighed.
"Man, this is so boring." he mumbled to himself, staring at the back door of the restaurant.
With a sly smirk, he got up and proceeded towards the door.
I'm sure no one will mind if I take a little break. Riku thought to himself as he quickly and quietly went through the door.
"Finally!" he said as he reached the outside, taking off his hat and walking around the restaurant towards the front of it.
Now, an entire busy city was before his eyes. Cars zoomed past, flashes of cameras were seen everywhere, and people scurried around in huge crowds.
"I love this city." he said with a smile, walking down the sidewalk.

 

"Hey." Sora greeted his other. "Let's go somewhere more private."

 

"All right." Roxas walked with his Somebody.

 

Sora walked to the park a block away from the restaurants and sat on a bench. He sighed loudly. "I've got a problem."

 

Roxas sat down beside Sora. "A problem? What's up?"

 

"It's me and Kairi." Sora stated, unsure of what to say next.

 

Roxas eyed him suspiciously. "Is this what I think it is?"

 

"We just...I don't know. Does she love me or doesn't she?" Sora leaned back and shut his eyes. "I just don't understand."

 

"Well, what do you think? Really think?" Roxas asked.

 

"I don't know what I think!" Sora said, frustrated. "I know that I love her, but when she sends back signals, I keep thinking that she's just messing with my head."

 

Roxas shot a look of shock. "Kairi? Princess of Heart Kairi? You honestly think she would do that to you, Sora?"

 

"I really don't know." Sora slammed his fist into the bench. "I'm just so confused." He muttered.
