KH- Fast Food Madness!

Sora felt his heart drop when Kairi looked away. No! He didn't understand...why didn't they have the same kind of love as Namine and Roxas? He turned forward and stared at the door.

 

Kairi tapped her fingers on the counter top, making up her own beat and humming along. Business was small this morning.

She glanced over Sora's way, watching him stare at the door. A small sigh escaped her lips. Namine and Roxas were lucky, they found each other and immediately fell in love, coming right out and saying it. Why couldn't she do that with Sora? They've been friends for years now, and now her feelings were starting to grow for him. She just didn't know how to express it.

Roxas sighed. "Anyone know what time it is?" he hollered to the front of the restaurant. There was no business today.

 

Sora put his elbows on the counter and put his hands to his face. He stood there, lonely and rejected.

"Not time for you to see Namine." Axel teased. "Relax, the day has just begun."

 

Kairi watched as he covered his face with his hands. A look of curiosity crossed her features. "Sora, you okay?"

Roxas sighed. "Very funny. No, it's just that it's so boring here. There's nothing to do."

 

Sora perked up. "Oh, yeah, I'm fine."

Axel sighed. "Yeah, I know what you mean..."

 

"You sure?" She titled her head to the side, her eyes soft with concern.

Roxas shook his head and walked up to the front of the store, sitting down in one of the chairs.

 

Sora faked a smile. "Yeah, it's nothing."

Axel threw down his spatula and went to sit by Roxas.

 

Goofy let Kairi and Sora talked. He knew better then to interfer. He started doodling random drawings on his note pad, waiting for the next costumer to come.

Demyx came out of the bathroom. The floors and everything else in there were squeaky clean. He nodded his head in satisfaction and then looked around to see what else needed to be done.

 

"Have you guys ever heard of a thing called work?" Riku said, throwing an onion at Sora's head. "Maybe you would like to try it some time instead of flirting."

Jack continued to clean until he snuck into the kitchen to grab a free snack.

Xigbar walked around until he noticed Roxas and Axel sitting together and slapped the palm of his hand to his face.
"Have you guys ever heard of yaoi?" he said. "In case you haven't, you're all over it! AkuRoku this, AkuRoku that! Yet, you two just keep supporting it by keeping really close to each other. If some fangirl happened to see this, she could take a picture, edit it, and it would be on the internet in no time flat!"
Just as he said this, he saw a girl holding a camera run out of the restaurant, giggling. Xigbar sighed and began walking away.

 

"Sora..." Kairi started slowly, sadness in her voice, but an onion hit Sora on the back of the head, which caused her to listen to Riku. "Hey, in case you haven't noticed, no one's here, Riku." She leaned against the counter.

Roxas groaned. "God, everyone knows I'm with Namine! Why can't they just give it up already?! Axel and I are just friends."

Riku smirked and picked up a tomato.
"Maybe it's because they see that the workers are too lazy to serve them." he said. Quickly, he threw the tomato at the back of Kairi's head and laughed.

 

Kairi let out a scream as she felt something cold smash against the back of her head. She slowly turned around, her jaw dropped in shock. She brought her hand to the back of her head and grabbed the tomato, dropping it with a gasp. "You...are so dead."

 

"Yes, I'm so scared of the girl with the flowery keyblade!" Riku teased, picking up another tomato.

 

Kairi shook her head slowly. "Ohhh. You are dead meat now, Burger Boy!" She ran toward him, grabbed a handful of hamburger and threw it at him.

 

Riku wiped some of the meat off and picked up a bottle of ketchup. He blew at the tip like a gun, then began squirting it nonstop at Kairi.
"How's that, princess?" he said laughing. "Or would you like some mayonnaise too?"

 

She screamed, putting her hands up in front of her face. "Well, you just put yourself in a pickle!" Kairi threw pickles at him from a jar.

"Where did you get these lines from?" Riku said, his nose wrinkled from the smell of the pickles. "The back of a cereal box? Those are some real cheesy jokes!"
He began throwing handfuls of cheese at Kairi.

 

"Oh, I'm sorry you can't ketchup!" Kairi squeezed the ketchup bottle at him.
