KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Roxas slowly pushed himself up, letting go of Namine's hand. He stood up and brushed the snow off his pants and shook his head, loose snow flying from his hair. He then offered a hand to Namine.

Kairi giggled a little when snow from Roxas' hair went flying everywhere and she sighed softly, starting to sit up.

 

Namine shook her head slightly, some loose snow falling from her hair as she sat up. She lift her eyes and smiled slightly when she saw Roxas' outstretched hand. She gently slipped her hand in his and gazed up at him.

Sora sat himself up, running a hand along the back of his head as he got rid of some of the snow in his hair. He pushed himself to his feet and turned around, offering Kairi his hand.

 

Roxas grasped her hand and pulled her up, his gaze never leaving hers.

Kairi smiled slightly and took Sora's hand, her eyes finding his.

 

Namine tightened her grip on Roxas' hand as she rose to her feet.

Sora grabbed onto Kairi's hand more tightly as he helped her up.

 

Roxas' eyes followed Namine's as he helped her up, the girl standing up straight now.

Kairi grasped his hand tighter as she made her way up, now standing upright.

 

Namine looked into Roxas' eyes, still feeling happy from earlier.

Sora smiled softly at Kairi as he gently laid his free hand on her shoulder, gazing into her eyes.

 

Roxas kept his hold on Namine's hand, smiling softly as he gazed into her eyes.

Kairi looked into Sora's eyes, a gentle smile on her face.

 

Namine returned his gaze without blinking.

Sora smiled gently in return and stepped over to Kairi's side, moving his hand from her shoulder and wrapping it around her side.

 

Roxas leaned his head forward and pressed his lips to her forehead lightly before pulling back. He smiled softly and then wrapped one of his arms around her shoulders.

Kairi's smile widened a little and she leaned into Sora a little.

 

Sora gazed down at Kairi softly and ran his hand up and down her arm, hoping to warm her a little bit.

Namine smiled softly in response and leaned into Roxas a bit, feeling warmer now that she was closer to him again.

 

Kairi smiled softly at Sora's gesture and wrapped one of her arms around his back to keep as warm as she was while next to him.

Roxas smiled gently at Namine and held her close before flitting his eyes to the couple beside them.

 

Namine gazed up at him for a moment before looking over at her other friends.

Sora turned his head slightly and saw Roxas looking at him. He gazed back down at Kairi for one second before looking back at his friend. "So...I guess we'll see you around." Sora said, waving slightly with his free hand.

 

Roxas nodded. "Right." His lips suddenly formed a smirk. "I still have to get you back one more time for tackling me twice today," he teased.

Kairi smiled slightly, her eyes flitting from Roxas to the blonde girl next to him. She nodded once at the girl with a soft smile.

 

Sora felt a hesitant smile appear on his lips. "...Right now?" He asked, thinking that now would be as good a time as any since he was already wet. But then again, he wouldn't go down without a fight...

Namine returned Kairi's smile, laughing inwardly at Roxas. Boys will be boys, she mused, watching Sora's reaction.

 

Roxas chuckled slightly. "If you wish," he said with a grin.

Kairi looked at Roxas and then looked up at Sora, wondering what was going to take place here.

 

Sora arched a brow, gazing at the blond. "You know I'm not going down easily," he stated, loosening his grip slightly on Kairi.

 

Roxas arched a brow and then smiled slightly. "Not a problem," he replied while shaking his head a little, his hold on Namine becoming a little looser.

Kairi flitted her eyes between both of the boys, her eyes stopping on Sora again.

OOC: Getting kicked off for the night. See you tomorrow!

 

Sora grinned slightly and let go of Kairi, his eyes wandering. He saw a frozen lake about 20 feet away. Maybe he could lose Roxas that way...

Roxas slowly let his arm leave Namine's shoulders, keeping his piercing blue eyes on the ones identical to his as he kept his lips in a slight smirk.

Kairi, still cold from being wet and in the chilly air, kept her eyes on Sora before following his wandering gaze. She looked at the lake and then back at the boy, not sure what was going through his mind.

 

Namine brought her head off of Roxas' shoulder as she looked back and forth between the two teens, wondering what they were thinking.

Sora blinked at the thought. No, running on the lake would be unsafe. He had no idea if the ice was even frozen completely, or how slick it was. It would be better to keep this pursuit on solid ground..or, as solid as snowy ground could be, anyway. The brunette suddenly turned around and ran in the opposite direction.
