KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Kairi looked down at the bouquet as she walked into the kitchen. The rose the card had been next to, it was different. And now that she took a second look at it, it looked like it wasn't even real. She thought back to the card and her smile grew at Sora's words. She loved him so much, and she was touched by how he had expressed his love as well.

 

Sora followed Kairi into the kitched and stopped in the doorway, leaning his back against the doorframe as he gazed down at the floor. The fact that he said he would love her until the last rose died meant that he would love her forever, since it was impossible for a fake rose to "die".

 

Kairi set the bouquet down gently, her eyes on the fake rose. It was very sweet of Sora to do this, even when he didn't need to; all she wanted was to be with him, but she did appreciate the gift. She bent down and opened a cabinet, reaching inside and carefully grabbing an elegant glass vase. She filled it up with water from the sink and then set it on the counter, her hands reaching for the bouquet.

 

Sora shut his eyes halfway as he gazed at the ground, patiently waiting for Kairi. The park was only a few short blocks away, and they would probably spend a while just walking through together. Things were always much more exciting and joyful when they were together, even when they were doing pointless, boring things like that.

 

Kairi put the roses in the vase, the flowers adding beauty to the elegant vase. She picked up the vase and carried it toward the table, setting it down in the center. She backed up and looked at them, her soft smile on her face. She looked up, her eyes falling on Sora, her smile growing slightly. Gosh, she loved him. She didn't know where she would be without him.

 

Sora blinked softly and inhaled before raising his head, gazing at the redhead who was gently looking at him. A small smile appeared on his face as he stood upright again, facing her. "Ready?"

 

Kairi nodded. "Mmhm." She walked around the table toward him.

 

Sora smiled softly at the beautiful girl he loved as he watched her approach him.

 

Kairi smiled at him as she approached him, her eyes locked on his piercing blue.

 

Sora's smile widened at Kairi's as he outstretched a gloved hand, wanting to hold her hand in his.

 

Kairi slipped her hand into his, her soft smile still on her lips.

 

Sora smiled softly as he leaned his head down, lightly kissing her on top of her red hair.

"Hey Roxas?" Namine's gentle voice broke through the comfortable silence as she moved her head slightly, gazing up at Roxas with light blue eyes.

 

Kairi blinked slowly at his loving gesture, tightening her hold on his hand slightly.

Roxas opened his eyes and looked down at her. "Hm?"

 

Sora slowly backed away and looked down at Kairi, a small smile on his lips.

"Want to go to the park?" Namine asked, thinking that it would be a nice day for a walk.

 

Kairi flitted her eyes up to him and returned his smile.

Roxas smiled softly. "Sure," he said with a nod.

 

Sora gently squeezed her hand, her smile making him feel happier.

"Okay," Namine said softly, her blue eyes gazing up at him as she gently moved, Roxas' arm still behind her.

 

Kairi gazed into his eyes. "To the park?" she asked softly.

Roxas kept his smile on his face and gently let his arm leave shoulders as he took in a soft breath. Getting out would be nice.

 

"If you want to," Sora responded softly, knowing it would be good for both of them to go out and have a day just relaxing in Central Park.

Namine slowly rose to her feet, a little stiff from sitting so long. She ran her hands over her tan sweater after she was fully upright.

 

Kairi nodded with a soft smile. Holding his hand, she started walking toward her front door.

Roxas exhaled and then pushed himself up, stetching a little. He hadn't been to the park in a while. It'd be nice to relax there for a while.

 

Sora smiled softly and followed Kairi, his hand gently holding hers.

Namine straightened her jeans and shift her gaze to Roxas, smiling softly at him. Getting out would be good for both of them.
