Roxas inhaled quietly, enjoying the peaceful moment.

OOC: Yeah, I agree. Especially if we only got a few posts in. =/

 

Namine turned her head slightly, snuggling closer to Roxas.

OOC: Exactly. So how about we quit for the night and then we'll start up with Sora and Kairi tommorrow? =)

 

Roxas tightened his embrace slightly, turning his head to the side slightly, her head only an inch below his chin.

OOC: Sounds good to me. =) See you tomorrow!

 

Namine sighed sofly, content.

Sora stood in the front of his living room, staring out the window as he gazed at the city, deep in thought. It had been a little over a month since anything eventful happened, he felt relieved that his life had gone back to normal. He thought back to the first two weeks that he had been home, thinking of Kairi. Neither of them had wanted to say goodbye after the last thing that happened when they were seperated, so Kairi had practically lived at his house for those two weeks. That wasn't a bad thing at all; Sora was glad to be with her so much.

But he had to admit, those two weeks were tough. Often times, he would wake up in the middle of the night due to insomnia or a bad dream. On nights like those, he would go down to the kitchen and make himself some hot chocolate. If that didn't put him to sleep, he would pace in the living room as he thought about life, and everything he and his friends had gone through in the past few weeks. That would eventually tire him, and he would fall asleep on the couch. Kairi had found him out there a few times, but he didn't know if she fully understood what he was doing out there.

OOC: The site was down for a while today and I was totally thinking "Oh my goodness, it better come back up so we can RP!" xP

 

OOC: xDD I would go crazy if the site shut down and we wouldn't be able to. Oh, where do you want Kairi? Do you want her still in Sora's house or something? I don't know where to start.

 

OOC: xD

Kairi can be over at her house, getting ready for the day. I'll send Sora over to her house. =)

 

OOC: Okey dokey. =)

Kairi looked at her reflection in the mirror as she blew her hair dry. After the last few weeks, she knew things were going back to normal. Nothing eventful had happened, which she was okay with. Sora had his cast off because his arm healed, which she was relieved and happy about, and everything had been going pretty well for the two of them. She remembered staying at Sora's house for the first two weeks because she desperately didn't want to leave his side, but now she was home, getting ready to see him again on Valentine's Day. She smiled softly to herself at the thought. It was their first Valentine's Day as a couple, and she didn't know what was going to happen. She didn't care if anything did happen; as long as she was with him, that's all that mattered to her.

 

Sora smiled softly. But after those first few rough nights, things started to calm down as he let the past stay behind him. He decided that he would only look forward, because life was too short to regret every little mistake you make. He ran a hand through his hair as he turned around and looked at the clock. It was about 10 AM, and he was supposed to be at Kairi's house by 10:30. They were planning on going to the park today, just for fun. Sora walked over to the door and grabbed his black sneakers, slipping them on. Kairi's house wasn't too far away, but he needed to make a stop before he got to her house. He grabbed his black coat off the coathanger and put it on overtop of his long sleeved red shirt.

 

Kairi ran her fingers through her red hair to the tips, fixing it so it wasn't so air-blown by the hairdryer. She smiled at herself in the mirror, her violet-blue eyes seeming to shine with excitement for today. Today her and Sora were going to the park, which she hadn't been to since the end of Summer. The redhead walked from the bathroom to her room to check her alarm clock for the time. It was a few minutes till 10, and Sora said he'd be by around 10:30. So, she had a half hour to waste.

 

Sora zipped up his coat and let his right hand pat his back pants pocket, making sure he had his key. He smiled faintly; Kairi had scolded him for constantly forgetting his key, in a loving way, of course. But now that he was sure he had it, he pulled open the front door and walked outside, immediatly noticing the snow on the ground. There were a good few inches, but fortunately for him and Kairi, it wasn't icy out. Today was going to be a good day, even if it was a little cool outside. He silently turned around and pulled the door shut, heading into town to stop at a certain store.

 

Kairi decided to go clean up after herself in the bathroom, knowing how she gotten things out to get ready. She entered the bathroom and started picking up the counter. She couldn't wait to get the day started, excited just to be with Sora.

 

Sora pulled his coat tighter as he walked down the NYC sidewalks, already noticing how many couples were out today.

OOC: Be back in a few minutes.

 

Kairi finished cleaning up her mess and exhaled softly, her eyes flitting to the mirror. She straightened the navy blue fabric of her quarter sleeve sweater. Her eyes flitted down to her jeans and she sighed softly. Her sweater brought out her naturally vibrant red hair and flattered her figure. She flipped off the light switch and started toward her room again.

OOC: Okay.

 

Sora walked out of the store, more poor than he had been entering. Those flowers had cost a fortune, but it would be worth it when he made it over to Kairi's house and gave her the gift. He smiled softly, holding the gift in his hands as she started toward her house, which was only two blocks away. He was going to be a little early, but he was pretty sure Kairi wouldn't mind.

 

Kairi approached her dresser and opened the jewelry box, reaching inside and pulling out a lovely golden necklace. She slipped it around her neck, putting it on before trailing her fingers down its chain, her fingertips finding the golden outlines of a heart. She smiled as she looked down at the necklace, remembering the moment Sora had given it to her.

 

Sora sucked in a breath as he hurried over toward Kairi's house. He hoped that everything would go as he planned, but if not, it would still end up being alright. He let out a soft sigh as he continued walking, almost a block away now.

OOC: Did you read the thread about posts between now and a certain time being deleted? =/

 

Kairi sighed softly and turned around, grabbing her cell off her end table and heading out of her room.

OOC: Yeah, I did. I read that a few minutes ago and I'm copying and pasting our posts to Word so we can just repost them and get back into what we had already. xD

 

Sora looked both ways before crossing the street and continued walking, hoping that Kairi wouldn't see him before he made it to the door. He was going to surprise her with this gift, and it would be hard to hide if she was watching for him. Still though, since he was early, that helped him with being able to be sneaky. He smiled at the thought; Kairi was going to love this.

OOC: Good; I was totally going to do that but since you already are...xD

 

Kairi made her way down the hall and down the stairs, heading into the kitchen, her eyes on her feet as she passed by the front of the house. She looked up and tucked hair behind her ear, walking toward the cupboard to grab a glass of water.

OOC: xD Taken care of.

 

Sora silently approached Kairi's front door, hoping he wasn't seen. His eyes dart to the ground and he noticed a potted plant to the right of the door. That would work perfectly to hide the gift until the time was right. He bent down and hid the gift behind the pot, so that from the doorway, Kairi wouldn't be able to see the gift. He smiled and stood upright again, reaching up a hand and pushing lightly on the doorbell for a quick moment. He wasn't planning on going inside, since they were going to the park right away.
