KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Kairi smiled slightly. "If you need the rest, you can go ahead and sleep. I understand," she said softly.

 

Sora smiled slightly at Kairi's words. "Am I really that easy to read?" He asked softly, knowing that he was.

 

Kairi smiled softly. He really did look tired, especially after arriving home. She understood if he needed the rest.

 

Sora felt his smile grow slightly at Kairi's gentle one. He pulled himself away from the doorway and stood up on his own, heading over toward the couch. "I guess a small nap would probably be good..." he said softly.

 

Kairi nodded once slightly as her eyes followed him, her box still in her hands.

 

Sora inhaled softly as he approached the sofa, gazing up at Kairi when he arrived in front of it. "You sure you don't mind?" Sora asked, slowly sitting himself down on the couch.

 

Kairi shook her head. "It's fine, really," she assured him as she looked down at him.

 

Sora smiled slightly, still feeling a little guilt. Still, he couldn't stay awake forever, and being with Kairi when he was so exhausted was almost as bad. "Okay," he said softly, relaxing into the couch. "Make yourself at home," he encouraged, his eyes starting to shut as his head rest against the back cushion of the chair.

 

Kairi nodded slightly with a small smile. She walked out of the living room to put the box that was in her hands in her coat pocket so she wouldn't forget it when she left.

 

Sora exhaled through his mouth as he turned his head slightly, his eyes shutting completely as he got more comfortable.

 

Kairi gently placed the small box in her coat pocket before heading down the hall to the bathroom. She glanced at Sora's form as she passed the doorway, a small smile appearing on her face as she turned her head to look ahead of her as she walked.

 

Sora sighed softly before drifting off into unconciousness.

 

OOC: Time gap time? =)

Kairi entered the bathroom and shut the door to do her business.

 

OOC: Sure. In fact, I'm about ready for the BIG one. Are you? =o

 

OOC: Yes, I am. 8D

 

OOC: And since I'm dying of curiosity about your VDay plan, why don't you start with Roxas? xP Oh, and where do you want Namine to start?

 

OOC: Okay. Well, Roxas is going to be at his house, so I guess Namine can be coming over? Something like that. xD Or they could meet up. It doesn't matter. =)

5 weeks later...

Roxas headed down the stairs from the second floor of his home, relieved that he could go up and down stairs again. He sighed softly. The three weeks of his cast had been a drag, but Namine had been there to help him get through it. She had helped a lot, and when she had gone with him to the hospital to get it off, she had been just as happy as he was when it was gone. And now, on Valentines Day, he wasn't restricted or limited. It felt great to be able to walk around without those crutches anymore! Roxas smiled just thinking about today, and how special it was going to be. He had something special planned for Namine, and he couldn't wait until the time came.

Namine looked in the mirror, smiling softly at the girl in the reflection. She wasn't the same girl that she was a few weeks ago, fragile and broken. Ever since that night at her grandfather's grave, she had been living her life again, feeling joy and happiness like she used to. It's what He would have wanted, and she understood that. Namine raised a hand and gently tucked some of her hair behind her ear before running both her hands over her tan, knit sweater and navy blue jeans. She exhaled softly and exit the room, grabbing her black winter coat and starting to put it on. Today, she was heading over to see Roxas. She knew that it was Valentines Day, but she didn't really care if they actually did anything. In fact, she would be content just sitting with him all day doing nothing. The blonde looked down and finished buttoning her coat, tying the strap around her waist and heading out the door.

 

OOC: One question: Do you want them to exchange gifts? Or no? It doesn't affect my plan at all. ;D

Roxas went toward the bathroom and glanced into the living room, which seemed bigger because of his Christmas tree finally being back in storage. He walked into the bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror, running a hand through his spikes and checking his white teeth. His parents had gone out to celebrate Valentines Day themselves, which he didn't mind; he got time with Namine, and that's all that mattered to him.

 

OOC: I can't think of any gift to give Roxas, so I guess not. xD

Namine looked straight in front of her as she walked over to Roxas' house, a bounce in her step. She was so happy that their lives were finally going back to normal. Well, she didn't quite mean that. When people thought of "normal", they normally thought of boredom. And any day that she spent with Roxas was never boring. They loved each other so much, and just being together was enough to make them both content and happy. At least, it was for her, anyway.
