KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Kairi walked up next to Sora, putting her right hand on his left shoulder lightly, smiling softly at him.

OOC: I have to go for the night. Bye!

 

Sora opened his eyes halfway and gazed down at Kairi, softly returning her smile.

OOC: Okay, bye!

 

"Home sweet home?" Kairi kept her gaze on his as her hand rested lightly on his shoulder.

 

"Home is where the heart it," Sora said in reponse, a small smile planted on his lips as he lift his left hand and gently laid it on the one that Kairi had set on his shoulder. "My heart is wherever you are."

 

Kairi couldn't help but smile lovingly at him after he spoke. "Sora..." That was sweet, and she would never forget that. Her violet-blue eyes gazed into his piercing blue, which contained happiness, relief, joy, and peace inside them, something she hadn't seen in his eyes in a while. It only made her smile stay on her lips.

 

Sora blinked once, still smiling softly at Kairi. He saw something in her smile that he hadn't seen in a little while, though he couldn't identify what the change was.

 

Kairi felt herself blush as their gaze continued and she looked away shyly, smiling a bit.

 

When Sora noticed Kairi's cheeks redenning, he felt his own cheeks heat up as well. He smiled shyly and he too turned his head slightly.

 

Kairi bit her lip timidly and her eyes found his hand that was still on hers on his shoulder.

 

Sora shut his eyes slightly as he faced the floor, almost feeling like he could fall asleep standing in that position. He gently took back his hand and brought it to the back of his head, ruffling his hair slightly.

 

Kairi took her hand off Sora's shoulder and let her teeth leave her lip as she looked around his house, the place looking the same it had always been, except for the Christmas decorations that were still up. After what happened, Sora never really did have time to take them down.

 

Sora softly opened his eyes when he felt Kairi's hand leave his shoulder. He turned his head and looked over through the doorway and saw that his Christmas tree was still standing, and there were still gifts underneath it. Wow, he had been away from home for far too long.

 

Kairi flitted her eyes to the couch, seeing something glisten in the lighting. She tilted her head slightly, not really remembering what it was that either of them had set there. Her eyebrows slightly furrowed in curiosity, Kairi walked through the doorway and into the living room toward the shiny object.

 

Sora lowered his gaze to Kairi when he saw her head into the living room. He curiously followed her with his eyes, taking a few steps before stopping in the doorway and leaning against its side tiredly.

 

Kairi approached the couch and looked down at the shiny item. She bent down and removed the half-opened lid from the box that only let the item shine a little in the light. She smiled when she recognized her grandmother's pin set delicately in its place in the box. Kairi gently picked it up and held it in her hands carefully, letting the crystal item sparkle in the light.

 

Sora smiled softly when he saw what the item was; the pin Kairi had gotten for Christmas. He shift his gaze away from her and looked at the tree for a moment before shutting his eyes again, softly exhaling as he rest his head lightly against the door frame.

 

Kairi would make sure to take good care of her grandmother's favorite and most cherished pin. How Santa Claus had gotten it was beyond her, but he did contribute to her happiness on Christmas. As soon as she got home, she would put it some place safe.

 

Sora lowered his head slightly as he quietly inhaled, feeling pretty exhausted. But he felt bad, leaving Kairi alone like this. He knew that he was still weak because of his concussion, which had escelated in seriousness after that horrible storm. Still though, he didn't want to sleep and leave Kairi by herself.

 

Kairi bent down and set the pin back in its place in the box, grabbing the lid and gently placing it on top of the box. She picked it up and held it in both of her hands as she turned her head, her eyes falling on Sora. She smiled faintly at his sleepy form. "Sora," she said softly, calling out to him.

 

Sora lift his head at the soft voice, forcing himself to wake up a little. "Hm? What's up?" He asked as he turned his head toward the redhead.
