KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Kairi walked alongside him, many thoughts running through her mind. She didn't know which one to focus on. She was just too happy that Sora was finally out of this place.

OOC: Just to let you know, I'm ready for a time gap whenever you are. Just say the word. =)

 

OOC: "The Word" xD. Time gap time!

Sora shivered slightly as he and Kairi stood on the sidewalk in front of his house, having just exit their taxi. Sora sucked in a breath, loooking at his house. I'm home, he thought, feeling a great sense of relief. He looked down and grabbed onto Kairi's hand, gently squeezing it.

OOC: Ugh, be back in 10-15 minutes.

 

OOC: xDD

Kairi turned her head and looked at him, a gentle breeze blowing her red hair. She smiled softly and gripped his hand a little tighter.

OOC: Okay.

 

OOC: Grrr, my mom just loves taking the computer for longer than she originally wants it. DDDx

Sora smiled faintly at the redhead beside him, noticing how beautiful she looked with her hair blowing in the wind. After a moment, he turned his head forward again and started toward the front of the house.

 

OOC: My sister loves to do the same exact thing. I understand that. xD

Kairi walked with him, looking up at his house. Sora must have felt relieved to finally be home.

 

OOC: It drives me INSANE!! Especially when I'm in the middle of roleplaying. Dx

Sora walked up the steps and toward the door, and then paused when he was right in front of it. He knew he didn't have a key or anything with him.

 

OOC: I know. It stinks! Dx

Kairi looked at the door and then at Sora. "No key, right?" She was glad she had learned how to unlock doors without a key.

 

Sora smiled sheepishly, gazing over at Kairi. "Nope."

 

Kairi smiled and dug into her pocket, letting go of his hand. She pulled out a paper clip and straightened it out before wrapping her fingers around it. She leaned forward and placed the wire into the keyhole, using the now straightened paper clip to unlock the door. She listened carefully for the flick of what sounded like a switch but really the door unlocking. She smiled in satisfaction and pulled the paper clip out, using her other hand to turn the door handle and push the door open.

 

Sora looked at the door opening, and then gazed at Kairi curiously. Where in the world had she learned how to do that?

 

Kairi bent the paper clip back to the way it was originally before slipping it into her pocket. She looked up at Sora and grinned when she saw his expression.

 

Sora laughed at Kairi's grin. "Remind me to never get on your bad side," he joked, a grin appearing on his face as well.

 

Kairi laughed softly at his humor. If he kept forgetting his key, she'd have to teach him how to do it as well.

 

Sora smiled at Kairi a moment longer before a cool gust of air reminded him that he was still outside. He turned his gaze toward the house, softly smiling as he stepped inside.

 

Kairi tucked hair that blew in her face from the wind behind her ear, a small smile on her face as she followed him in, shutting the door behind her.

 

Sora let out a sigh in relief when he heard the door shut behind him. Not because he wanted to get out of the cold, but because he was home. He shut his eyes for a moment, taking it all in as he felt his tense muscles relax slightly.

 

Kairi untied and unbuttoned her coat before slipping it off and hanging it up on a hook next to the door. She looked up at Sora and smiled slightly before flitting her eyes to her shoes as she slipped them off.

 

He was finally home again, and hopefully, he would stay here for a long while. No more hospital visits, no more heartless, he just wanted a little bit of peace for a while.

 

Kairi sighed quietly as she stood up straight, glad to in the comfort of someone's home then at the hospital room. Sora was probably feeling more comfort and relief than she was.

 

Sora exhaled, feeling very relieved to be in his own home again and out of the hospital bed. But he did have to admit, he felt pretty tired. He hadn't slept in a while, and he wasn't used to moving around so much.
