KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Kairi softly inhaled and pulled away from the embrace, thinking of Sora's arm suddenly. She didn't want to have him hurt himself because of her.

 

Sora opened his eyes fully as he slowly let Kairi out of the embrace, pulling back his injured arm and putting it closer to his side.

 

Kairi leaned on one of her hands against the bed as she looked at Sora, her eyes flitting to his.

 

Sora moved his head back slightly and leaned the left side of his head lightly against the pillow as he looked at Kairi. He smiled faintly when he gazed into her violet-blue eyes.

 

Kairi noticed his smile and returned it with one of her own.

 

Sora softly gazed into Kairi's eyes as he gently took back his other hand, taking it off of Kairi's back and gently putting it close to her face as he tucked back some of her red hair.

 

Kairi smiled faintly at his light touch, appreciating his gentleness as she gazed into his eyes.

 

Sora smiled softly at Kairi, able to tell that she was feeling more calm now than she had earlier. He gently took his hand back and set it down on the between them.

 

Kairi leaned back, resting against the pillows again as she faced him. She sighed softly as her eyes stayed on his, starting to become slightly tired.

 

Sora smiled softly when he heard her sleepy sigh. He knew that sometimes emotions made a person feel pretty exhausted, and that was probably the case here.

 

Kairi cuddled closer to Sora, lowering her head a little as she closed her eyes. She felt herself growing more tired, but she didn't know why. Maybe it was from being so emotional...

 

Sora gently tilt his head down a little and lightly kissed Kairi on the top of her head. "Get some rest," he whispered softly. "I'll be here when you wake up."

 

Kairi smiled faintly at his soft spoken words, and it faded as she felt herself dozing off.

 

Sora shift his gaze downward and saw that Kairi's hand was a few inches away from his. He moved his left hand and gently set it in his before lightly running over it with his thumb.

 

Kairi sighed softly at his touch, drifting into unconciousness.

 

Sora continued to stroke her hand for a few more minutes, even though he was sure that Kairi had drifted off to sleep. He smiled faintly at her sleeping form, and then heard a soft sound from the other side of the room. He shift his gaze to the door and saw his doctor entering the room. He quickly brought up his right hand and motioned for the man to be quiet, since Kairi was sleeping. The man nodded in response and quietly shut the door behind him.

"How're you feeling?" The doctor asked softly after he had approached Sora's side of the bed.

"Much better today," Sora whispered back softly, still holding Kairi's hand in his.

 

Kairi took in a quiet breath as she slept peacefully next to Sora.

 

The doctor nodded softly before speaking again. "Do you feel sick at all?"

"Just a small headache," Sora answered softly, truthfully. He didn't feel dizzy at all, and his nasea had completely disapeared.

"How about your arm? Any pain?"

"Not really, just when I put pressure on it or turn it too far." Sora responded, wondering why his doctor was suddenly asking him so many questions.

"Do you feel like you have enough strength to stand?" The man asked carefully, watching Sora with his eyes.

Sora was a little confused at the doctor's question, and why it was being asked. Did he mean that if Sora could stand, he could leave? He silently hoped that was true. "...Sure." Sora answered, a little unsure.

 

Kairi exhaled softly, unware of the conversation happening in the room.

 

The doctor nodded and took a step out of the way.

Sora looked at the doctor for a second before turning his gaze back to Kairi. He had a feeling that maybe his movement would awaken her a little, if not completely, but he didn't have much of a choice. Not caring that his doctor was watching, Sora gently brought Kairi's hand close to his face and plant a light kiss on it before setting it back in its previous position. He gently let go of it and put his left hand on the bed, slowly pushing himself into an upright position.
