KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Kairi sighed softly and let her hand leave her necklace as she approached the door. She put her hand on the handle and opened the door quietly, entering the room. She turned and faced the door as she shut it softly.

 

Sora exhaled softly, not opening his eyes. He was sure that he was hearing things now; he could have sworn he heard somebody softly enter the room. But that was probably just his mind playing tricks on him. He doubt anyone would come in and see him, not his doctor or anybody else.

 

Kairi turned around and silently slipped her coat off and put it on a chair that was next to the door. Her eyes flitted up to look at the room, and she was surprised to find only one bed being used. But her violet-blue orbs shined when she found him, the one she loved so dearly. "Sora..." she whispered as she looked at him across the room.

 

Sora blinked slowly, almost sure he had heard his name spoken softly. He turned his head and looked over at the door, his eyes brightening a shade when he saw a familiar red head standing there looking at him. "Kai?" Sora asked softly, a faint smile appearing on his lips.

 

"Sora," Kairi said happily. She walked across the room toward his bed, a smile appearing across her lips.

 

Sora's smile grew slightly at the sight of hers as his blue eyes followed her as she approached his bedside.

 

Kairi approached his bedside, her violet-blue eyes looking into his piercing blue as she smiled at him. "Hi," she said softly, happy she was with him again.

 

"Hey," Sora greet her back quietly, smiling softly. He hadn't expected to see her, and he couldn't have been more thrilled that he wasn't alone anymore.

 

"How are you doing?" Kairi asked, meaning it in more ways than one. Her eyes found his cast before she looked back up at him again, but she was also concerned about how he was handling the effects of Dark Kairi.

 

"I'm surviving," Sora answered, following her gaze to his cast before looking back up at her. "How about you?"

 

"Same," Kairi answered with a slight nod. Nightmares and the occasional chill at the thought weren't her ideas of all right, but she was dealing with it, like Sora.

 

Sora smiled slightly, knowing that it was as rough on her as it was him. Forget about his nightmare and exhaustion, he had to take care of Kairi right now. He put his left hand down on the bed as he moved a little bit closer to the opposite edge of the bed. "Come sit," he encouraged softly, lightly patting the bed with his hand.

 

Kairi smiled a little and silently obeyed, sitting down next to him and bringing her legs up on the bed.

 

Sora watched Kairi sit down, his eyes following her before they looked down at the bed. Her hand was right by his, and he gently wrapped her hand in his.

 

Kairi's eyes flitted to their hands and she smiled, her violet-blue orbs looking up at Sora.

 

Sora smiled faintly in response to Kairi's smile as he leaned his head over slightly, planting a light kiss on Kairi's forehead.

 

Kairi's eyes closed in comfort when his lips met her forehead.

 

Sora slowly backed away, his eyes closing slightly as he gazed at Kairi.

 

Kairi opened her eyes slowly, her eyes meeting his. She smiled softly at him.

 

Sora softly returned her smile as he noticed her gazing into his eyes.
