KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Roxas' thoughts were still on the peaceful moment he and Namine just had, and were still having. The atmosphere around him was stronger than before, no longer empty...But full of happiness, love, and serenity. He looked down at Namine's blonde head and smiled faintly, gently moving his hand that was on her upper arm along her arm.

 

Namine sighed softly at the gentle gesture, content and comfortable.

 

Roxas continued gently rubbing her arm as he gazed up at the TV, his eyes on the game.

 

Namine opened her eyes halfway, gazing down at the floor. It was hard not to notice Roxas' cast. Still though, Namine knew that it was only temporary. As long he wasn't in pain, that's all that mattered.

 

Roxas sighed quietly in comfort as the game wrapped up, the Knicks losing by one point. Oh well. Maybe next time. He closed his eyes in content when a commercial came on.

 

Namine closed her eyes again, feeling tired. She hadn't gotten much sleep with the nightmares that she had been experiencing, and she was starting to feel the effects of that.

 

Roxas opened his eyes and grabbed the remote on the arm of the couch right next to him, turning down the television. He set the remote back down and then closed his eyes again, holding Namine close.

OOC: Do I see a time gap coming?

 

OOC: A time gap would be splendid. =) Perhaps to the next day so we can get to Sora and Kairi. xP Unless you have something else in mind. Whatever is cool with me.

Namine exhaled, her breathing even as she started to doze off.

 

OOC: That's exactly what I was thinking. =)

Kairi sighed softly in her sleep, turning over in her bed as she started to wake up. The sun shown through her window right to her bed, warming the covers that were over her form.

 

Sora exhaled as he sat in a half-upright half-lying down position on his hospital bed. He was awake, but barely. He had spent most of the night dozing in and out of conciousness, not really sleeping. He couldn't let himself fall into a deep slumber just yet.

 

Kairi opened her eyes slowly, squinting because of the rays of sunshine. But she smiled slightly at its warmth and beauty this morning. From what she could see, today was going to be a beautiful day. Kairi closed her eyes and stretched in her bed.

 

Sora shut his eyes halfway, thinking back to a few hours ago. His doctor had come in to check on him again, to see if he felt sick. Sora had told him that he didn't feel too sick to his stomach, but he still felt weak and exhausted. And then the man had comment that Sora looked like a ghost he was so pale. Sora frowned slightly at the memory.

 

Kairi pushed herself up and swung the covers off of her as she put her feet over the bed. She rubbed her eyes and stood up. She ran a hand through her hair as she made her way to her dresser to grab some clean clothes before heading across the hall to shower.

 

Sora shift his gaze down slightly as he raised his left arm. His skin did look much more pale than it ever had before. He had no doubt that his eyes were dimmer too.

 

Kairi started the shower and undressed. She stepped in and began to wash.

 

Sora shut his eyes, resting his eyes for a long while.

OOC: I'm up for another short time gap if you are. 8D

 

Kairi wet down her hair and poured shampoo into her palm.

OOC: Alrighty. You lead. ;D

 

OOC: Um...okay...

Sora exhaled softly, in a light state of sleep in his hospital bed.

 

OOC: Sorry. I didn't know how short of a time gap you wanted. =/

After taking a shower, Kairi had blown her hair dry and brushed her teeth. She now stood in her kitchen, eating a plate of waffles as she sat at her kitchen table. She felt better today, only having a slight headache, but nothing more. Maybe after doing some house cleaning she could go see Sora.

 

OOC: Not a problem, I wasn't too sure myself. ;D

Sora's breathing was even as he forced himself not to fall into a deep slumber, his body tense because of his nervousness. If he fell into a deep slumber, what would stop him from having a nightmare? He had enough nasty thoughts when he was awake. Maybe sleeping could temporarilly end that...
