KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Kairi opened her eyes and let her hand leave her forehead. She walked toward the stairs and started upstairs. She needed a hot shower to clear her senses.

 

Sora sighed and lift his legs back onto the bed. He used his left hand and propped up the pillows behind him before leaning back into them in a sitting position. He shut his eyes halfway and stared at the wall in front of him.

 

Kairi walked down the hall and made a right, entering the bathroom. She shut the door and started the shower, turning it to hot. She threw her hair up into a messy ponytail before undressing.

 

Now that he was sitting still again, Sora went back to the train of thoughts that he had started going through earlier. He somehow knew that he wouldn't have totally been able to save Kairi from pain earlier, but it still hurt that he had seen her that way. And he had been helpless to do anything for the most part.

 

Kairi stepped into the hot shower, closing her eyes when the hot water hit her skin. She sighed softly and let the water run over her face.

 

Sora bit down on his lip and shut his eyes, the thoughts continuing to haunt him over and over again.

OOC: I'm up for a time gap if you are. xD

 

OOC: Okey dokey. Shall you lead or shall I?

 

OOC: Um...I guess you can. xD. I kind of an idea for Roxas and Namine, but I don't have any ideas on how to start it. D8

 

OOC: Okay. How long do you want me to go? To the next day? I'm completely cluless. xD

 

OOC: Um...yeah, it's kind of weird having a time gap since we haven't had one in a while. xDD. I guess that I'll lead and just set us into the early evening.

Namine had been asleep next to Roxas for a little while on the couch, but she had woken up before he had. She had figured that would be a good moment to go home and clean up. And she also had to do something else too. She would explain it to Roxas in person. She had left him a note located on the spot where she had sat before. She silently picked it up and reread over the note as she stood in front of the sofa.

Roxas,

I woke up a little while ago and head home to get cleaned up. After that, I need to make another stop. There's something that I need to do alone. I'll be back soon, I promise.

Namine nodded at the note. She wasn't too specific about anything, but she didn't really want to be just yet. She wasn't sure what would happen when she went to visit her grandfather's grave. But she knew that it had to be done, or her nightmares would never end. She sighed softly and set the note back down before heading to the door, getting dressed to go outside, and silently leaving.

 

OOC: xD All right.

Roxas sighed softly in his sleep, his casted leg resting carefully on the floor. He was unaware of the fact that Namine left as he slept soundly.

 

Namine shivered as a cold wind blew straight into her, slowing her walk slightly. She pulled her coat closer to her as she walked toward home. It was only a few blocks away, and she didn't have much money on her anyway, so taking a taxi wasn't an option.

 

Roxas softly took in a breath, starting to wake up from his rest.

 

Namine traveled down the NYC sidewalks in silence, looking down at her feet for most of the walk. She lift her eyes when she noticed that she was at home. The place looked empty, which meant that her parents were out somewhere. Hopefully they weren't worried about her. Namine sighed softly and walked up to the front door, pulling a key out of her pocket and sticking it in the keywhole. She turned it and opened the door, warm air rushing to her face.

 

Roxas opened his eyes and blinked a few times. He looked to his left with a small smile so he could see the blonde next to him. But his smile faded when she wasn't there, and all he saw was a note. He picked it up and silently read it. Something she needed to do alone? Roxas stared at the words in concern, but he knew she had to obviously do it on her own. He set the note down and stretched.

 

Namine stopped in her room, setting her winter coat down on her bed after she took off her shoes. She grabbed a change of clothes and head into the bathroom to take a shower.

OOC: Family frustrates me sometimes. Dx

 

OOC: xDD Ditto.

Roxas yawned and looked out the window. It had to be early evening because it hadn't gotten too dark yet. He turned his head and reached for his crutches leaning against the couch beside him. He needed to use the bathroom, and take a shower.

 

OOC: I assume a time gap would work well here. xD

Namine stood in the bathroom, blow dryer in her right hand as she finished working on her now dry blonde hair. She flipped the switch and turned it off before setting it down on the bathroom counter. She looked up at herself in the mirror. She looked a little tired and kind of stressed, but it wasn't as bad now that she knew what she had to do. In order to finally be at peace, she had to say goodbye. She didn't know if she was strong enough, but she had to try.

Namine ran her hands over her light blue shirt and over her navy blue jeans to smooth out the wrinkles before she left the room, turning off the lights behind her.

 

After taking his second shower with his leg cast, Roxas knew that wearing those bags over his leg whenever he showered was going to get annoying. Once he finished dressing into a clean red shirt and dark blue jeans, Roxas ran a hand through his already dry spiky hair. He used some gel to make the spikes a little better and sighed as he looked at himself in the mirror. He had to admit that the couch wasn't the best place to sleep, which was why he had a sigh of circles under his blue eyes. But other than that, he looked all right. Roxas reached for his tooth brush as he got ready to brush his teeth.

 

Namine mentally ran through the list of things that she had to do. Take a shower, done. Brush her teeth, check. Now all she had to do was grab a quick bite to eat...not that she was actually hungry. She sighed softly, running a hand through her blonde hair as she walked toward the kitchen.
