Kairi nodded slightly. She understood that. If he hadn't done what he did, she might not be here right now.

 

Sora exhaled softly and lightly rest his chin on Kairi's shoulder.

 

Kairi was grateful for what he'd done to help her, and she loved him so much. She bit her lip to prevent the tears that wanted to spill behind her eyes.

 

Sora shut his eyes halfway, gazing down at the ground below him. He couldn't really think of any words to say that could make the situation any better.

 

Kairi lifted her head out of his neck. "I love you, Sora," she said softly as she looked at their white surroundings. She didn't have anything else to say. That's all she wanted to say.

 

Sora smiled slightly, lifting his head an inch as he spoke. "I love you too," he whispered back to her, opening his eyes wider as he looked straight ahead.

 

Kairi smiled a little and blinked slowly as she softly exhaled, her violet-blue eyes on the white area.

 

Sora exhaled as he turned his head again, shutting his eyes and laying his head on Kairi's shoulder.

 

Kairi started thinking how exactly they would both get out of here, and when. She wanted to stay here with Sora, mainly because she knew that when she woke up, she'd be back in her bathroom, still a little sick, and Sora would be back in the hospital, having his injury. Just thinking about it made Kairi want to stay.

 

Sora shift slightly, his wounds starting to bother him again. They were pretty much just nagging pains, but every once in a while, they would suddenly ring out in more extreme pain. And that had just happened again a moment before he moved.

 

Kairi pulled away from their long embrace slowly, keeping her hands on Sora's shoulders. They'd been that way for a while, and Kairi wanted to look into the piercing blue eyes she loved.

 

Sora lift his head slowly as he felt Kairi pull away, his eyes wandering from the floor up to her soft violet-blue orbs.

 

Kairi flitted her violet-blue eyes up to Sora's face, her eyes meeting his.

 

Sora smiled softly, blinking once as he looked into Kairi's eyes.

 

Kairi smiled softly at him and slowly let her hands leave his shoulders. She reached up and gently swept away a few of his brown spikes so she could see his eyes better.

 

Sora shut his eyes for a moment when he felt Kairi gently brush away some of his spikey hair. In all honest, he wasn't sure what she would see in his eyes. The memories of the battle still haunted him, even though he hadn't said much on the topic. Still though, if he didn't look, Kairi would definitly know that something was wrong. He slowly opened his eyes again, immediatly finding Kairi's again.

 

Kairi let her hand fall from his forehead and she smiled faintly at him as she gazed into his eyes. She noticed that they weren't really as bright as they usually were, and she knew that was because of the battle. It must've been hard on him. Heck, it was hard on both of them. She had to admit though, the look in his eyes made hers soften a little. He hadn't said much about it, so she didn't know what was running through his mind.

 

Sora felt his eyes soften when he saw the expression in Kairi's change slightly. He knew that she had seen something in his blue eyes, something that reflected his sadness from the battle.

 

Kairi's lips parted slightly as if to say something, but she blinked and looked away from his gaze, deciding not to say anything. If he wanted to talk, he'd talk. She couldn't and wouldn't force Sora to do anything.

 

Sora bit down on his lip lightly and let his eyes wander to the ground. Whatever expression his eyes held, they had made Kairi look away. And it hurt him to think that he had done something wrong.
