KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Dark Kairi readied herself, her eyes focusing on her target like a bullseye; Sora. She let out a cry as she zipped forward toward his position, powering up her energy. She would beat him to a pulp and hold onto the control so she could live. She wouldn't surrender to the Light. Ever.

"No! Stop! I won't let you do this!" Kairi cried internally.

 

Sora opened his eyes, the transformation pausing as he gazed at something rapidly coming towards him. He sucked in a breath and shut his eyes tightly, quickly trying to change into Final Form before she reversed the whole thing.

 

Only a few more seconds, Dark Kairi thought. Then this is mine.

"You're fun is over! I won't let you do this!" Kairi screamed internally.

Dark Kairi sped toward Sora, one more second and he would be hers. But she stopped dead in her tracks, only ten feet from his floating form. She blinked and gripped her head. "Stop!"

"NO! You're not getting away with this!"

Dark Kairi squeezed her eyes shut, her fingers in her hair.

 

"Ah!" Sora let out a small cry, a burst of light emmitting from his body as his clothing and appearance changed. He felt his feet land on the ground as he held Oathkeeper and Oblivion in his hands. Over his shoulders, he noticed that four spears levitated in the air. Normally, he and his keyblades would have hovered too, but he didn't have enough energy for that. In fact, he didn't know how long he could stay in this form before collapsing. He tightened his grip on the keyblades and sprint for Dark Kairi, the spears floating behind him.

 

Dark Kairi was unaware of Sora coming toward her. She was only aware of Kairi's immobilizing her.

"You'll get what's coming to you!" Kairi cried.

 

As he ran, Sora focused his energy on the silver spears behind him. Two of them left from behind his shoulders and pointed themselves at Dark Kairi before shooting straight for her.

 

Dark Kairi opened her eyes, her hands still in her hair. She saw the spears heading toward her, and she growled angrily. The spears came in contact with her skin and she roared in pain.

 

Sora grunt softly as he jumped into the air, a few feet off the ground as he chucked his keyblades at Dark Kairi. He couldn't let up for a few reasons, one of them being how quickly she could recover. He couldn't stay in final form forever; he could already feel some of his power leaving him.

 

Dark Kairi didn't have time to recover from the spear attacks, and when the two Keyblades hit her form, she got sent back a few feet, but she landed on her feet, stumbling a little.

"Sora will weaken you, and then I will take control. You'll be gone forever!!" Kairi screamed.

Dark Kairi winced in pain, but managed to smirk a little. "Heh. I'll never be gone forever. I'll always be within you, even if you manage to kill me!"

 

Sora growled in anger as he fell back down to the ground, stumbling slightly as he resummoned his keyblades. There was obviously an arguement going on here that he couldn't completely follow, and he didn't like it one bit. He gripped Oatkeeper more tightly, charging up enough strength to get in another strong attack.

 

"You're wrong!" Kairi screamed.

Dark Kairi watched Sora approach, and she squeezed her eyes shut, knowing that even with her rapid speed, she wouldn't be able to get out of the way fast enough.

 

Sora roared and swung his keyblades with all his strength as he ran through Dark Kairi, skidding to a halt a few yards behind her.

 

Dark Kairi let out an earsplitting scream at the pain that went through her body. Her eyes were squeezed shut as the scream went on for a few seconds, and then she fell silent as she gasped for breath.

Kairi started taking control again, using a power she discovered inside of her.

 

Sora winced and shut his eyes tightly at her cry, hating that sound more than anything else in the world. After it was finished, he loosely held the keyblades in his hands, looking down at the girl as he caught his breath. He felt his legs start to tremble from his weakness, so he locked his knees. He doubt the fight was over yet. Dark Kairi wouldn't give up so easily.

 

Kairi's body took over as she held Dark Kairi's position, gripping her head with her eyes shut in pain. But then it faded away as Dark Kairi took over again.

"...Stop trying. You'll never...win," Dark Kairi said in between breaths as her body rang out in pain.

 

"A little more," Sora said softly to himself and Kairi, silently nodding as he stood in a battle-ready position. His eyes drooped slightly as he felt his strength draining. He blinked once, hard as he forced himself to focus.

 

Kairi heard Sora's voice and she forced herself to take control, not over the body, but the voice.

"Sora, don't push yourself too far," she pleaded through Dark Kairi's lips. Dark Kairi took control and spit blood out of her mouth.

 

Sora didn't respond. He didn't have a choice with this; it was either victory or oblivion. He would either defeat Dark Kairi or die trying. He would use every ounce of strength he had to make sure things turned out right.

 

Dark Kairi turned her head and glared at the boy. "You better listen to her, pretty boy. But if you do try, and you die," she said, putting emphasis on the last word as she continued, "even if Kairi does win this fight, she'll be miserable...Because you will be gone."

 

"Tch." Sora made a sound of disgust as he gripped his keyblades more tightly.
