KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Kairi saw this as one of her chances to fight back while Sora held onto Dark Kairi. Kairi put her hands next to her on the ground to support herself. She grunted as she kicked up, her shoe meeting Dark Kairi's face.

 

Sora tightened his grip on Dark Kairi's hood when he felt the girl move at Kairi's kick.

 

Dark Kairi brought a hand to her face and then glared at Kairi when she spoke.

"Not fast enough!" Kairi mocked, sending another kick Dark Kairi's way, the girl's head getting snapped back from the whip-lash.

 

Sora grunt slightly when he felt the impact of the blow that Kairi had done. He shift his grip on the girl, still holding on tightly.

 

Dark Kairi brought her head forward, her mouth bleeding.

Kairi pushed herself up and tasted acid in her mouth from when Dark Kairi had punched her. She glared at her twin angrily.

Dark Kairi met Kairi's stare. "You're going to pay for that!" she screamed, and then whirled around quickly, kicking Sora in the side to evade his grasp.

 

"Tch." Sora grunt softly, shutting his eyes at the impact. He felt Dark Kairi slip out of his grasp as he reached for her hood. He only got a handful of air. He furrowed his eyebrows in anger as he looked for the girl, putting a hand on the ground to steady himself.

 

"Sora!" Kairi took a step toward him quickly and knelt down next to him, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Things are going to change rapidly, Kairi."

Kairi turned her head at the voice, her eyes not falling on the girl.

"They'll never be the same," her voice rang out again.

 

Sora frowned; he definitly didn't like the sound of that. He shift, lifting one of his legs so he could put a foot on the ground as he gently laid a hand on the one that Kairi had put on his shoulder. He silently nodded, letting her know that he was okay.

 

Kairi kept her strict look in her eyes, her voilet-blue orbs meeting Sora's. She really didn't like the fact that he was getting hurt because of her, or that he had to deal with this. But she knew that she had to rid herself of her darker version before anything could really be solved.

 

Sora lightly pat Kairi's hand, staring to push himself off the ground. He didn't mind that he had to deal with this. In fact, it was technically his fault that he was hurt right now. He hadn't finished off Dark Kairi when he had the chance, and now he was paying the price for it.

 

Dark Kairi stopped yards away from them, and crossed her arms at the sight. "Isn't this sweet," she commented rudely.

Kairi started to stand up and faced the girl.

Dark Kairi chuckled slightly. "I think I'm going to have fun with this."

"Stop," Kairi said strictly. She took a step forward, stretching an arm out in front of Sora's form. "Don't touch him! He has nothing to do with this!" Kairi glared at the girl opposite her, more than ten feet away. "You've had your fun, but we're done with the games! This is between me and you, so get down to it!"

 

Now fully upright, Sora shift on his feet uncomfortably. He lightly rest one hand on his side, feeling the pain from the impact. He felt like he should step forward and face the evil girl, but it technically was Kairi's fight...

 

Dark Kairi chuckled again, which sent chills up Kairi's spine. She had a feeling that she wouldn't be able to take her on, but she had to try. Kairi stood next to Sora, still holding her arm in front of his chest.

Dark Kairi smirked and narrowed her eyes, lowering her head a little as she glared at the redhead. "Wonderful." She let out a cry and sped toward Kairi.

The girl temporarily disappeared, but Kairi knew she was the target. She sucked in a breath just as Dark Kairi collided with her, sending her back a few feet. But Dark Kairi wasn't there with her, and instead Kairi got a strange feeling in her heart. She gasped and clenched her fists in pain. Dark Kairi wasn't beside her...She was within her. Kairi let out an earsplitting scream of agony as the darker version of herself attacked her heart.

 

"NO!!!" Sora screamed, his cry combining with Kairi's as he was sent back a few feet with her, his body caught behind her arm. He regained his footing after a few steps, his eyes wandering to his side to see Kairi's still falling body. With lightning fast reflexes, he reached out his one arm and grabbed onto Kairi's, pulling her close enough that he could use his other arm to catch her body. Once he had her in his one arm, he put is other around her body as he held her close to him.

 

Kairi felt a pain unlike any other she had felt before, a scream leaving her throat as her heart was ringing out in pain.

 

Sora felt tears leave his eyes as he screamed with her, the sound of her cry ringing through his ears and piercing his heart.

 

Kairi could feel a battle being engaged in her heart as she clenched her fists in agony. The Light in her heart was fighting the Darkness, and she didn't know how strong that Darkness was. She felt tears form behind her closed eyelids at the pain.

 

A few tears slid down Sora's cheeks as he felt his legs start to tremble. He shakily lowered himself to the ground, caressing Kairi in his arms.

 

Kairi sucked in a breath, tears leaving the corners of her eyes. She felt like she was losing herself as Dark Kairi was within her, and she let out another cry as another sharp pain entered her heart.

 

Sora bit down hard on his lip, trembling as he knelt with Kairi in his arms. He brought one hand to her face and gently wiped at the tears.
