KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Dark Kairi opened her eyes and glared at Kairi, acting as if she hadn't done a thing. Besides, nobody had any proof it was her who had done it, except for Kairi, who was only making herself look guilty with her outbursts.

Kairi glared back at the imposter. She was starting to get really angry with her.

 

Sora blinked when the cast didn't disapear completely. What...? There was obviously some battle going on here that he wasn't seeing, and he really hated it. Was there any way he could tell them apart? He had to find a way. After all, he knew who Kairi was. How could he even get someone as beautiful and loving as her mixed up with someone so dark? The thought made him sick to his stomach.

 

Kairi closed her eyes as she tried to think this through. It was starting to confuse and anger her that she couldn't lay her finger on it.

Perfect, Dark Kairi thought. She closed her eyes and finished erasing the cast. With both girls' eyes closed, it wouldn't be evident who did the job.

 

Sora gasped softly and looked down at his right arm, seeing the cast gone. He lift his eyes to the girls, but both of them had their eyes closed. This only frustrated him further. Sora let out a frustrated sigh, looking back and forth between both girls.

 

It seemed like this version (as much as she hated to call it that) was manipulating Kairi in some way. She was turning the tables every few minutes. Whenever Kairi thought she could get through to Sora, her darker version would make it seem like she was the one not to be trusted. But they looked the same! There wasn't a way for Kairi to prove it to Sora physically!

Dark Kairi opened her eyes, her face showing no emotion.

 

"I gotta figure this out," Sora muttered, turning away and shutting his eyes. He brought his hands up and rubbed his temples as he thought through everything that happened, looking for some kind of slip up that could prove which one wasn't real.

 

Kairi opened her eyes, her voilet-blue orbs meeting those identical to hers only a few yards away. She didn't like the look in the other girl's eyes. And if she was somehow her reflection, Kairi didn't like the look that was supposedly in her own eyes if they matched those expressed in the other's. Kairi stared at the girl in anger, something she hadn't experienced very much in a while. But she caught the other girl smirk when Sora faced the other way, and she gasped.

Dark Kairi's expression faded.

Kairi ground her teeth together. "Enough with the games!"

 

Sora let his hands fall back to his side as he opened his eyes and turned around, facing the Kairi who had just spoken. That was enough proof for him. He understood enough to know which one was real and which one was a liar.

 

Dark Kairi stood still. "What games?"

"Stop it! Stop with the lying!" Kairi glared at the girl. "Show Sora who you truly are!"

 

Sora slowly shook his head. "She doesn't have to." Sora gazed at the second girl, and then back at the one who had just spoken. "I already know." He slowly took a few steps forward, standing between the two girls. He turned his back to the real Kairi and faced the other girl. "I'll do whatever it takes to protect Kairi!" He yelled, summoning the Kingdom Key into his right hand and staring at the imposter.

 

Dark Kairi smirked at Sora. "Fine. Have it your way." The girl before them closed her eyes and her pink dress faded to reveal a tattered grey dress in the same style of Kairi's, the ends frayed and torn along with a few parts of the dress. Her shoes were black, and her hair was a tad messier than Kairi's, reflecting the same hairstyle Kairi saw in the mirror before she collapsed.

Kairi's eyes widened. That could be her if something went wrong...And she suddenly felt a pang in her heart.

Dark Kairi smirked again, her eyes darker than Kairi's original violet-blue eyes. It made her appear as more of a threat.

 

Sora's eyes widened slightly, and then he furrowed his eyebrows in anger. He took a step back toward the real Kairi and held up his Keyblade in challenge.

 

Dark Kairi chuckled evilly at Sora's motion, which sent chills down Kairi's spine. "Do you really want to fight me?" she pressed. "You'd only be hitting your girlfriend, Sora, and my body and voice are the same as hers. You'd technically be fighting her, now wouldn't you? Causing her pain, hearing her scream..."

 

"Shut up." Sora ordered, his expression pained for a moment before his face went hard again. "You're not her."

 

Dark Kairi looked into his eyes, the grey-blue iris glaring. "Not yet," she said evilly.

 

"Shut up!" Sora screamed, putting both hands on the handle of the keyblade as he charged forward, anger flowing through his veins.

 

Dark Kairi smirked and in a split second, she disappeared as she zipped away quickly from his charge.

Kairi froze, wondering where her other went. How did she disappear? Kairi felt a rush of wind next to her, her hair flying in the gust. She blinked in realization.

 

Sora skid to a halt and let his defense down as he looked around for the girl.

 

Dark Kairi appeared behind Kairi. "Over here," she called teasingly.

Kairi's eyes widened as she felt the girl's breath on her shoulders. She furrowed her brows and grunt as she whirled around, her arm swinging with a fist. But she caught the girl duck just as her arm swung past.

Dark Kairi stood back up straight and smirked at Kairi. "Not fast enough!"

 

"Leave her alone!" Sora yelled angrilly, running over in the direction of the evil girl.
