KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Kairi bit her lip as she felt a pang in her heart. The girl in the mirror...it couldn't have been her, could it? Was it the darkness inside her that brought her here? Was the darkness inside her portrayed by Kairi's reflection? Another pang in her heart told her it was a possibility, and she sobbed once softly, tears leaving her eyes.

 

Sora looked around, but he couldn't see anything. He was so, so confused. He put a hand to his side to feel his pant pocket, and he noticed that he was wearing his normal outfit. Huh? This whole thing was getting way too confusing. He reached inside his pocket, but he didn't have his charm. Where could it have been?

 

Kairi shivered, cold suddenly. She went to pull her hoodie tighter around her, but she didn't have sleeves anymore. She looked over her body on the ground, her legs revealed with her purple sneakers. Her pink dress was on her, but why? Kairi didn't understand any of this, which caused her to sigh and lower her head back to the ground.

 

Without his charm, Sora had no idea of how he could see through this darkness. He shut his eyes and clenched his fist. "Gah," he muttered, running a hand through his hair in frustration.

 

At this rate, she would never get out of here. But Kairi couldn't find the motive to even move anymore.

 

Sora blinked when he suddenly felt sadness. It wasn't his sadness, but someone elses. Kairi's? He didn't know. But he did suddenly have an idea. He put a hand on his ring finger and pulled off the gift. He held in in the palm of his right hand, and then he noticed that he still had a cast. What?! How did he have that injury here? Nothing was making sense anymore, and he was so frustrated! He let out an angry sigh and shut his eyes, focusing his energy on the object.

 

Kairi felt another tear leave her eye and she closed them. There was nothing but darkness here, so it didn't matter if her eyes were open or not.

 

Sora opened his eyes and noticed that the ring was glowing, and he could see a few feet in front of him now. He put it back on his finger and held his hand in front of him, walking slowly as he looked around. This place made no sense; at least in his heart things were a little more clear. Oh well, that didn't matter now. He kept walking.

 

Kairi suddenly thought of Sora, and how he had been in the hospital...alone. And all because she allowed herself to get sick. She made a sound of disgust and tried to shake the picture of him lying in the hospital with his cast out of her head. Her heart knew the real image of Sora--the boy she loved so much that was her comfort zone, without any casts or injuries. Maybe that's why she was in her pink dress instead of her sweats, because that was how she always dressed, and that girl was engraved in her heart.

 

Sora walked for what felt like ages, and then he felt himself collapse. He grunt softly and landed on his knees, his ring still illuminating some light. He winced when his right arm rang out in pain when he used it to catch himself.

 

Kairi felt a pang in her heart at the thought of Sora. Now that she was here, she wouldn't be able to see him, and she didn't know how long she would be in this state.

 

Sora sighed and pushed himself back to his feet. He couldn't give up.

OOC: I'm off for the night, bye!

 

OOC: See you later!

No. That was the negativity speaking. She wouldn't give up so easily, she knew better than that. Kairi opened her eyes, all traces of sadness gone at her realization. She pushed herself up and stood up, now growing accustomed to being back in her dress.

 

Sora looked down at his hand, and he noticed that his ring was hardly glowing anymore. He sighed softly and shift his gaze to his arm. Why was it in a cast, here in his dream? Maybe it represented an injured heart. After all, loneliness could do that to a person. That was the only thing that he could come up with.

 

Kairi started walking slowly through the darkness. This couldn't be her heart, could it? She was a Princess of Heart, having a heart of Pure Light. But where was she then?

 

Sora blinked and then shut his eyes, thinking. This whole thing made no sense at all. He didn't feel like he really had a reason to be here...wherever "here" was.

 

Kairi continued walking, until she heard a giggle. Not just any giggle...but her giggle. She stopped dead in her tracks and whirled, her eyes falling on the girl in the mirror--her reflection. "You," she said so quietly it was almost a whisper, and the "reflection" was the only thing that could hear her.

The girl chuckled. "Yes, me. But I wouldn't seperate myself from you just yet."

"What?"

The other Kairi smirked. "I am you, Kairi."

Kairi shook her head. "You're not!"

 

Sora looked around suddenly, having heard some muffled voices. He had no idea who they belonged to, so he stayed silent and wait to hear more. But staying here wouldn't do him any good, since he hadn't been able to understand them. He silently started in the direction of the voices.

OOC: Be back in like 10 minutes.

 

"Don't come to conclusions," she demanded slyly.

"But you're not! You're not me!" Kairi balled her hands into fists, her arms bent slightly.

"I'm a different version of you, Kairi." The other redhead stepped forward a few feet so the two were only a few yards apart. "The opposite side of you."

"What is that supposed to mean?" Kairi asked, her eyes widened slightly at the other's words.

Kairi's other smirked slightly. "You're the Light side of yourself, the person you are now. But me..." She chuckled a little. "I'm your Darkness."

OOC: Okay.

 

Sora continued to walk until he was close enough to see the two girls. His eyes widened at the sight. What was going on here? He stayed silent and watched, wondering if either girl would notice him.
