KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Roxas exhaled softly and smiled down at her. He continued to rub her hand with his thumb as she seemed to relax.

 

Namine opened her eyes halfway and gazed down at their hands before feeling her eyes shut slowly. She was surprised that she was fading out of conciousness so easily, but then again, she hadn't slept much at all, so it did make sense.

 

Roxas lowered his head and planted a small kiss on the top of her head.

 

Namine let out a soft breath as she fell into a light sleep.

 

Roxas pulled back and smiled when he began to hear her even breathing. She needed the rest, and he was glad she was getting it.

While Namine had been asleep for the last few hours, Roxas stared blankly out the window. He thought over a few things here and there, ranging from his cast, to Sora and Kairi, to Namine, and what the new year would unfold for the four teenagers' lives. Would it be easier? Or would it get harder for them?

 

Namine sighed in her sleep, turning her head slightly as she started to become more concious.

 

Roxas glanced down at the blonde beside him, tightening his grip he still had on her hand. He hoped that this year would get better for them all, especially Namine and Sora. They'd gone through the most out of all four of them. And Kairi, she went through more than Roxas did, especially when she was with Sora, which was always. He felt like he had the easiest out of all of them, and felt a little guilty.

 

Namine brought her head off of Roxas' shoulder and leaned it against the back of the couch, her breathing even as she was in a half awake-half asleep state.

 

Roxas looked at Namine for a moment before turning his attention to his cast. True, he was injured now, but that wasn't close to what Sora and Kairi had to deal with these days. Sora was in bad shape, and Kairi was sick and couldn't be with him, which he knew was upsetting Sora. He sighed softly. Despite the fact that they were going through hard times, they went through it together, which was what he admired about their relationship. They never gave up on each other.

 

Namine tightened her grip on Roxas hand slightly as she opened her eyes halfway, blinking several times as she grew accustomed to the light.

 

Roxas squeezed Namine's hand as he kept his eyes on the floor, smiling a little. He and Namine were the same; they went through things together, even when they were hard.

 

Namine sighed softly and kept her eyes open halfway as she gazed down at their hands.

 

Roxas inhaled softly, blinking slowly as the warmth of the sun hit his skin.

 

Namine sleepily brought a hand to her face and rubbed her eyes.

 

Roxas glanced over at Namine and smiled softly. She seemed to be more rested from her sleep.

Kairi rolled over on the couch, sighing softly while slowly waking up from her sleep.

 

Namine let her hand fall back to her side and slowly flitted her eyes to Roxas, who was looking at her. She smiled softly.

 

Roxas' smile grew a little. "Get enough rest?" he asked.

Kairi rubbed one of her eyes tiredly as she felt warmth on her skin. She opened her eyes, blinking a few times to adjust to the light that filled the room.

 

"Mmhmm," Namine said quietly, a small smile on her lips as she gazed at Roxas. She was feeling a lot better than earlier, even if she was still a little sleepy. Oh well, she'd worry about that later.
