KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Namine smiled softly, relaxing as a peaceful silence surrounded them. Even though there were noises around them--like the fountain and faint music, she was still enjoying the calm moment.

 

Roxas opened his eyes and took his head off Namine's a little before moving it to the side, just over her right shoulder. He leaned the side of his head against the side of hers. "Besides, a beautiful girl deserves to see an elegant garden. But you know, I personally believe the girl is much more stunning," Roxas said in a hushed tone, his words coming out in whispers next to Namine's ear.

 

Namine felt her small smile widen at Roxas' compliment, feeling shy that he would make such a bold statement like that. One shy giggle escaped her lips before she bit down on her lip, her smile softening as her cheeks started to turn pink.

 

Roxas' smile widened into a small grin when he heard her giggle, the boy seeing the side of Namine's face slightly. He noticed a light shade of pink appear on her cheeks. He turned his head slightly, kissing Namine's hair for a brief second before he pulled back.

 

Namine stopped biting her lip when Roxas lightly kissed her hair, that gentle gesture letting Namine forget her shyness for a brief moment. However, it didn't distract her completely, since her cheeks turned a little more pink at that moment as well.

 

Roxas' smile softened as he turned his gaze to the fountain directly in front of him and Namine, the boy keeping his head above and a little behind the blonde's shoulder. He let his big ocean-blue eyes look over the fancy fountain in silence, taking in the fountain's elegance.

 

Namine kept her eyes closed, her smile becoming more faint on her face. Despite her shyness, this moment was still nice. She couldn't tell if Roxas was looking at her now or not, but it was okay with her either way. His feelings for her were so obvious and strong that she could never forget it. Sometimes, the magnitude of his love was so great, that it made Namine feel shy, just like she was at that moment.

 

Roxas inhaled and then exhaled a breath, his eyes slowly traveling from the bottom of the fountain to the top of it, where water began to pour out. He watched the water stream out as the peaceful silence surrounded him and Namine, the moment comfortable.

 

Namine softly exhaled, lowering her head ever so slightly. Her hair shifted slightly, one or two curls coming over her shoulder and resting over top the front of her dress.

 

Roxas blinked once, lowering his gaze slightly, looking past the fountain and out at the garden that continued on. He wondered what this place was actually used for, other than fancy balls such as this one.

 

Namine felt a faint breeze begin to blow and she softly inhaled, taking in the fresh air before releasing it. Her blonde bangs were blown out of place, resting partly over top of her closed eyes.

 

Roxas felt the blond spikes in his eyes get pushed over slightly by the wind and into his eyes, but the breeze continued and brushed them out of his cerulean eyes once again. He caught Namine's hair blow out of the corner of his eye, but he kept his gaze forward in the silence.

 

The soft wind died down, making everything around them still again. Namine opened her eyes partway, gazing at the lower part of the fountain in front of her without bothering to fix her bangs.

 

Roxas kept his gentle hold around Namine's form as he lifted his gaze again, this time to the starry sky above. He noticed the stars, millions of worlds above them. He smiled at the thought, thinking back to his friends back in Twilight Town...that being his temporary home, and where he met Namine. He exhaled a breath silently, his ocean-blue orbs staying on the night sky.

 

Namine randomly gazed upward, her eyes opening fully as she looked up at the bright moon. The light shone down on the garden, illuminating the area even though it already was partially lit.

 

Roxas inhaled a breath and then sighed softly, lowering his head slightly as he closed his eyes. The silence was peaceful, even if there was some soft music playing somewhere around them.

 

Namine kept her gaze upward, looking across the sky. It was unusual to see starts while in NYC, since the city lights normally made the night sky much brighter, and that in turn affected your ability to see stars. But tonight, the sky was full of stars, and it really did look beautiful.

 

Roxas kept his eyes shut, the boy keeping his head above Namine's right shoulder. He loosened his grip around her slightly, taking in a deep breath.

 

Namine looked down when she felt Roxas' grip loosen slightly, her sky-blue orbs finding his arms still wrapped around her.

 

Roxas let his deep breath go, exhaling softly in the calm silence between him and the blonde in his arms. He opened his eyes slowly, his gaze falling on the fountain again.
