KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Namine stopped walking, letting her hands fall slightly as she lightly gripped her dress. So, this is it, she thought to herself. Whatever "it" is, anyway...

Sora smiled at the words, feeling warmth inside his heart. Without thought, he leaned forward, giving Kairi a light kiss on the lips before returning to his previous position.

 

"Okay..." Roxas said softly, his eyes flitting to Namine as a smile remained on his face. "Open." He took back his hands, taking them gently away from Namine's eyes as he remained behind her, the garden's fountain in front of them.

Kairi let her teeth show slightly in a small smile after the quick kiss, happiness just pouring down on her and Sora at the moment.

 

Namine slowly let her eyes flicker open, though the opened more quickly when she realized what she was looking at. A fountain? And out of the corner of her sight, she could see flowers and lights as well! Her eyes widened slightly in awe and she scanned the area, seeing that Roxas had taken her to a beautiful garden.

Sora opened his eyes partway, his gaze falling to Kairi's hand that rested on his tux. He smiled faintly, glad that he could still feel her gentle presence.

 

Roxas' smile remained on his face as he watched Namine look around, seeing a glimpse of her expression when she turned her head slightly as she scanned the area. He hoped that was a good sign, but inside he had a feeling it was.

Kairi sighed softly through her nose, comfort swiftly making its way through the thick aura of love and brushing over her.

 

Namine turned again, looking in the other direction and seeing even more lit-up trees. And...everywhere she looked, there was beautiful flowers. There were even rose bushes, which added to the beauty of the garden greatly. She lifted her gaze upward after a few moments, her mouth open slightly in awe as she gazed at the starry New York sky and listened to the gently flow of water from the fountain.

 

Roxas watched silently as the girl in front of him looked around, and yet...he was in awe. Her expression was unbelievably beautiful, and the way the lights from the fountain reflected on the water and hit Namine's face, she had an angelic glow to her features. This only caused Roxas to gaze in silence, a gentle, loving smile still on his lips, as well as one of happiness. His arms at his sides, he stood where he was, his bright blue eyes on the girl in front of him. He flitted his eyes up for a moment when she did, seeing the starry sky and the moon.

 

Namine blinked softly two times, seeing the sky brightly lit. That alone was beautiful, but along with everything else that was surrounding her, she was stunned. She lowered her gaze and looked around her again, slowly taking everything in. Everything around her was so incredibly beautiful, that Namine didn't even think to smile or show any sign that she liked this place. So, in stunned silence, she continued to let her eyes wander over the garden.

 

Roxas lowered his gaze, finding Namine again. He bit his lip nervously when he couldn't exactly read the expression she held on her face. Was that a good sign...or a bad sign?

 

Namine rotated her body, her eyes catching onto a black form--a boy in a tuxedo. Roxas. The blonde girl lifted her dress slightly as she turned to face him, her eyes gazing up into his. Though she couldn't bring herself to show a smile, just to let him know how beautiful she thought this place was, she was sure that her delight shone in her sky-blue eyes.

 

Roxas quit biting his lip as he met Namine's gaze, the boy seeing that her eyes were open for reading. He blinked once, his eyes looking into hers as he noticed a sparkle in their sky-blue depths. This caused him to let his lips spread into a smile, Roxas catching the joy and astonishment in her eyes.

 

Namine opened her mouth to say something before closing it, unable to form any words in her mind. Her eyes wandered away from Roxas and she slowly scanned the area, seeing the other side of the garden behind Roxas, along with the building from which they had come.

 

Roxas kept his eyes on Namine as she looked past him. The silence between the two of them was one he understood; it wasn't uncomfortable, or uneasy. It was peaceful, and he could feel a little amazement still coming from Namine. He had only caught a glimpse of the garden himself, but he was more interested in the girl he loved so dearly in front of him.

 

The trees were strung with lights, the bushes trimmed to perfection, flowers everywhere...it was stunning. Namine couldn't believe it really; she had never been in a place so beautiful before.

 

"So..." Roxas started, his eyes staying on Namine for a second. "What do you think?" He flitted his eyes around, looking from his right to the fountain and then to his left before his eyes fell back on the blonde in front of him.

 

Namine blinked when she heard a voice, her eyes flitting back to Roxas. She looked up into his eyes, seeing curiosity their blue depths. It took a moment before it registered in her mind that he was waiting for an answer to his question. She didn't know if she could find her voice, but she would try anyway, for his sake. "...It's...beautiful," she said quietly, only able to say those two simple words.

 

Roxas' lips formed a smile at her words. He was aware that Namine wasn't really fond of surprises, but he was glad to know that this was one she approved of, and apparently enjoyed.

 

"Incredible," Namine breathed, that simple word leaving her lips. Her eyes wandered again, noticing how the lights gave the park a gentle flow. Everything around her looked incredible, and she was having a hard time shaking off the awe she felt in her heart.

 

But not as incredible as you, Roxas thought silently as his eyes stayed on the girl. His smile widened slightly, his gaze shifting to the garden as well. He took in the scent of the flowers as he inhaled, his eyes wandering over them and seeing rose bushes in addition to the many different types of flowers.

 

Namine turned around when Roxas' gaze left her, the girl facing the fountain again. She reached forward with her right hand, lightly running her fingers over the edge of the smooth fountain. It looked absolutely gorgeous in the moonlight, and she now understood why Roxas brought her to this place.

 

Roxas' smile stayed on his lips as he took in the beauty of the garden, but then he shifted his gaze to the girl in front of him, and decided to take in her beauty instead.
