KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Sora noticed Roxas' gaze, and he wondered if he and Kairi should leave. Roxas probably wanted to show Namine the garden...

 

"Uh..." Roxas lifted his gaze to his friends across from him and Namine. "I guess we should go; I was just about to show Namine something, but I know another place to take her," he said, explaining himself.

Kairi nodded slightly, a soft smile on her face. She understood, and she had a feeling it involved the garden.

 

Namine gave Roxas a curious look, remembering that he was going to show her something. Instead, well, this had happened. She still didn't know what he had in mind, but she was guessing he wanted it that way.

"Right," Sora said with a soft nod, having an idea of what Roxas was talking about.

 

Roxas offered the couple a smile. "Alright, we'll catch up with you guys later then," he said. And hopefully not an uncomfortable moment like this.

Kairi nodded slightly before turning her gaze to Namine. She was waiting for the right moment to send Namine a small message, hoping Roxas would look away in a second.

 

"Hopefully not making another surprise appearance," Sora teased his friend, keeping the mood as light as possible.

Namine's faint smile grew at Sora's playfulness, the girl turning her head toward the couple again. She would definitly like to see her friends again, just under different circumstances.

 

Roxas grinned sheepishly. "Yeah, I'll work on that," he said, noting that this whole situation was actually his fault. One of his flaws...the usual.

Kairi smiled at the boys' words, her gaze falling on both of them before flitting her eyes to Namine. Having a feeling that Roxas was going to surprise her with the garden, she secretly sent a wink Namine's way. She would like the surprise, even if she wasn't too fond of them.

 

"Good," Sora said with a nod, his friendly smile staying on his lips. He knew that Roxas hadn't meant to cause any of this, but with his luck, he couldn't really help it.

Namine gave Kairi a confused look. What was that wink for...?

 

Roxas smiled and then squeezed Namine's hand, turning his head to her. "Ready to go?" he asked, his soft smile on his lips. Thinking back to what he wanted to show her, he was actually getting a little excited.

Kairi only smiled at the blonde, nodding once. Roxas would surprise Namine like Sora had surprised her, and look what that led to; a romantic moment between her and her boyfriend, except theirs would be without the awkward moment...hopefully.

 

The confused look stayed on Namine's face, though she wiped it away to the best of her ability when she heard Roxas speaking to her. "Okay," Namine answered, very curious now. Was she missing something...?

 

"Okay," Roxas said with a nod as he started to turn around. He looked at his two friends, waving slightly. "See you guys later."

Kairi smiled softly and lifted her right hand off of Sora's chest, waving lightly with her fingers.

 

Namine brought up her free hand, waving goodbye to her friends. A faint smile appeared on her lips, the girl making her curiousity disapear for a few moments.

"See ya," Sora said with a kind smile, bringing up his free hand and casually waving to his friends.

 

Roxas smiled and turned around, starting to walk as he held onto Namine's hand.

Kairi kept the small smile on her face, her eyes following her friends until they turned the corner and were out of sight.

 

Namine followed Roxas' lead, the girl holding Roxas' hand as they turned around and left the area.

Sora let his hand fall back to his side, the brunette watching the blondes as they left his sight.

 

Roxas exhaled through his nose, a little relieved that the awkward moment was over.

Kairi turned her head, her hands resting against Sora's chest again. Her violet-blue orbs went up to his face again, even though he wasn't looking at her. She pressed her lips together, her cheeks still slightly pink from the weird confrontation.

 

Namine continued to walk with Roxas, feeling a small bit of relief in the fact that the awkward situation was over. But now they were back inside, and things were as loud and crazy as ever.

Sora looked down when he felt a gaze on him, his ocean-blue orbs meeting Kairi's. He gave her a weak smile, noticing that her cheeks were still slightly pink.

 

Roxas held Namine's hand tightly when he noticed the sudden change in atmosphere, things going from quiet and awkward to loud and crazy. He just needed to find the stairs, and then he could actually show Namine the garden.

Kairi exhaled, smiling slightly. "Well...that was a little embarrassing," she admitted softly, lowering her gaze slightly.

 

Namine gripped Roxas' hand more tightly, her eyes wandering the room. The obnoxious group from earlier were nowhere in sight (thank goodness), but everything around them was still loud and crazy.

Sora faintly returned her smile, nodding softly in agreement. "Yeah, it was..." he said with a soft chuckle.

 

Roxas found the staircase amongst the crowd and started toward it, wanting to get him and Namine out of the loud area soon. It had gotten a little crazy in only a matter of minutes.

Kairi giggled shortly with Sora, her gaze staying down as she looked at her hands on his chest. The moment they had been having was wonderful, the romance having been strong between the two of them.

 

Namine noticed that they were walking toward the staircase, only making her more curious. Where exactly was Roxas taking her...?

Sora smiled weakly, looking down at the girl who wouldn't return his gaze. It had been very awkward, but at least it was over now.

OOC: Wow, it's late! I gotta go, bye.

 

Roxas held Namine's hand securely in his as he grew closer to the staircase, only about ten feet away now. He inhaled the heavy air and released it, really wanting to get out of the room...for now, anyway. As soon as things calmed down a little, he wouldn't feel as crowded.

Kairi's small smile faded slightly as a light breeze flowed by, brushing her red curls. She looked up then, also feeling the light gaze on her until she met Sora's eyes.
