KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

OOC: Dx I apologize. I had no ideas for something interesting.

Roxas jerked awake at a loud sound outside. He lifted his head and looked around, alarmed.

 

OOC: It's okay. =)

Namine jumped off the couch and let her eyes go to the window when she saw something outside. She blinked when she saw red and blue fireworks exploding in the air. Her mouth hung open in awe as she watched.

 

When the loud noises continued to go off, Roxas looked out the window, the city in view. Not only the city, but....fireworks? He grabbed his crutches and then pushed himself up, heading over to the window and looking out. What were the fireworks going off for? Wait...what day was it? Was it New Years?

 

Namine blinked, bring a hand up and rubbing her eyes. She wasn't still asleep, was she? No...she couldn't have been. Her eyes wandered to a clock and saw that it was 12:02 AM. The timing was about right, so it must have been New Years.

Sora gasped and bolted upright in bed when he heard a loud noise. His eyes frantically searched the hospital room. What was going on?

 

Roxas blinked as a few went up at the same time, the light bright for his sleepy eyes. It had to be New Years. There was no other explanation for it. There was probably a big party going on down on Times Square for the celebration.

Kairi shakily got up from her spot on the bathroom floor and left the bathroom, walking across the hall to her bedroom to see what all the fuss was about. She weakly approached her window, her eyes widening when she saw the colorful sparks in the sky.

 

Namine watched in awe as the fireworks lit up the sky and exploded into millions of shimmers of light. She felt a faint smile appear on her lips as she stood by the window.

Sora's eyes found the window and he flinched when the bright lights entered his sight.

 

Roxas smiled a little as he gazed out the window, the night sky transforming into various colors as the fireworks went on.

Kairi glanced at her clock on her endtable by her bed. 12:04 A.M. Yep, it was New Years. She smiled a little as she looked back out the window, but that smile quickly faded when her headache returned from the loud booms of the fireworks going off. She brought a hand to her head and gripped the windowsil.

 

Namine's eyes were wide in wonder as the watched the beautiful fireworks.

Sora clamped his eyes shut when he heard a loud bang. He brought a hand to his head, the noise ringing through his ears.

 

Roxas turned his head toward the direction of the living room, tearing his eyes from the show. He wondered if Namine was up.

Kairi squeezed her eyes shut in pain as with every pulse her head throbbed in pain. The noises were faint, but loud at the same time, and the bright lights didn't help her sensitivity.

 

Namine laughed softly as the fireworks continued to explode, showering the area with beautiful lights.

Sora turned his head in the other direction and opened his eyes a crack. In the faint lights, he saw something sitting on the endtable. He reached for it with one had and fingered it. A sigh of relief escaped his lips when he realized what they were: earplugs.

 

Roxas turned and started for the living room, his crutches slowing him down.

Kairi turned around and decided to leave her bedroom, knowing that if she went across the hall into the bathroom and shut the door, it'd be a lot quieter.

 

Namine stood in the window, her hands folded in front of her as she watched the fireworks, laughter in her eyes.

Sora let out a sudden cry when an extremely loud bang errupted outside. He instinctively brought both hands to his ears and accidentally dropped his earplugs.

 

Roxas entered the living room...and stopped. His eyes fell on the blonde before him, the colors from the fireworks splashing on her face, making her look beautiful. He smiled softly as he caught the look in her eyes from the side of her face. She seemed to be enjoying herself, which in turn made him happy.

Kairi pushed the door shut to the bathroom, accidentally slamming it, which caused pain to her headache, which she figured now was a migraine. She sighed softly and leaned against the counter, holding her head in her hand.

 

Namine smiled softly, moving a strand of blonde hair that was in her eyes. She blinked and let her eyes shift toward the doorway, where she noticed Roxas gazing at her. Her smile widened as she looked at the boy she loved so much.

Where'd they go?! Sora thought as his wide eyes searched for the plugs. He let out a soft groan, his hands running over the sheets as he searched.

 

Roxas' smile widened a little and he made his way over to her side.

Kairi took in a deep breath when her headache had caused her so much pain she felt like throwing up.

 

Namine smiled softly at Roxas before turning back to the window, the fireworks starting to slow.

Sora let out a small cry of relief when he found them. The ringing in his ears was almost as horrible as the other day, and he couldn't take much more. He shakily stuck the plugs in his ears, the bangs becoming more muffled.

 

Roxas looked at her before turning his attention to the window, the view of the fireworks better over here than where he was before.

The feeling in her stomach got worse, and Kairi felt tears flood her eyes as it grew. She hated sickness.

OOC: Be back in a little bit.

 

Namine blinked when the fireworks began to explode faster again, golden stars lighting the sky.

Sora bit down on his lip and forced himself to lay back down, his eyes wet with tears of pain. He closed his eyes and burried his head in the pillows.

OOC: Okay. I gotta get off for a little while too.

 

Roxas' eyes widened in amazement at the fireworks, his smile widening.

Kairi groaned and then got down on her knees in front of the toilet, and vomited a few seconds later.

 

Namine smiled softly as she enjoyed the show.

Sora groaned, the noise still ringing in his ears. Still, he was thankful that it wasn't getting any worse.
