KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Sora let his eyes stay on the garden, the teen standing still with Kairi right beside him. Out of the corner of his eye, he could tell that she had looked up, and was now gazing at the garden. He didn't know exactly what she was thinking, but he knew how much more at peace he felt. It was softer outside, and even if you could hear a little bit of the noise from the dancefloor and main building, things were much more peaceful outside.

 

Kairi blinked, her eyes still a little wide as she looked at the garden in front of her. She took in the sight, in a little awe. "Wow..." she breathed, exhaling.

 

Sora smiled softly at Kairi's response, keeping his eyes on the garden. That was the same thing he had thought when he had first seen everything. All the white lights, strung up on trees. The bushes and flowers cut to perfect; everything looked incredible.

 

Kairi walked forward a few small steps, bringing up her hands and putting them along the railing of the balcony. She looked down slightly, feeling a light breeze touch her face. In her sight she saw a little more of the beautiful garden, perfectly cut bushes and lit up trees in view.

 

When Kairi moved forward, Sora gently released her hand, letting his fall back to his side. He turned his head toward her, looking at her as she gazed at the garden. She looked absolutely stunning--her beautiful dress, her delicate red hair, the way she held herself....Sora felt as if he were falling in love all over again.

 

Kairi lifted her gaze a little, her eyes falling on the garden as it stretched further out ahead of her position on the balcony. So, this was where Sora had planned to bring her... She couldn't deny that it was gorgeous, because it was. Every light and trim of the shrubbery was set up so well. Kairi was practically speechless as a smile formed on her lips.

 

Sora looked at Kairi for a moment before turning his head slightly, facing forward and gazing at the garden again. His bright blue eyes flitted up to the moon when he felt a nice breeze hit him, blowing his brown spikes lightly.

 

Kairi took in the sight for a moment longer, still fascinated by the beautiful scenery. She didn't even know this was here! How could she miss something so gorgeous?

 

Sora gazed up at the moon, patiently waiting. He couldn't specifically say what he was waiting for, but he had a feeling something special was going to happen.

 

Kairi turned her head, her gaze falling on Sora. Her soft smile grew slightly as she watched him gaze up at the sky. She followed his gaze, her eyes locating the moon. "It's beautiful," she said softly, referring to both the moon, and the garden.

 

Sora looked down at the sound of the voice--the voice he loved most in the world. His gentle blue eyes immediatly met Kairi, and a faint smile started to appear on his face. "Yeah, it is," he said quietly in agreement. But not as beautiful as you.

 

Kairi lowered her gaze to Sora when he spoke, her soft smile returning from its faded state when her eyes met his. She took in his form, the boy looking very handsome at the moment. But of course, Sora was very handsome everyday, no matter what he was wearing.

 

Sora heard the DJ say something loudly inside, something about everyone having to find a partner for this next song. He heard the soft sounds of guitar leading into it, and he took one step forward, the teen closer to Kairi now. "May I have this dance?" he requested softly, bowing slightly.

 

Kairi looked at the boy, a smile immediately coming across her face as a soft giggle left her lips at Sora's bow. She let her hands leave the railing. "Of course you may," she said, her hands lifting her dress a little as she curtsied slightly.

 

Sora stood himself upright, his hands falling to his sides as he gazed at the beautiful girl in front of him. He took one step forward, cutting the distance between them in half. The guitar continued to play softly in the background.

 

Kairi let her hands leave her dress, the girl taking a step forward and standing right in front of Sora. Her ears picked up the song playing inside, the guitar playing beautifully. She offered Sora a soft smile as she looked up into his piercing blue eyes.

 

Sora softly returned Kairi's smile, his ocean-blue orbs gazing into hers. He reached forward, setting both of his hands on Kairi's sides. He could hold her more closely this way, and that was exactly how he wanted it.

 

Kairi lifted her arms toward Sora's shoulders, her hands coming together behind his neck, one hand holding her other. Her eyes stayed glued to his, violet-blue looking into ocean-blue.

 

Sora inhaled silently, slowly starting their dance. Guitar played softly in the background for a few more moments before a male singer started.

"I see you standing here
But you're so far away
Starving for your attention
You don't even know my name"

 

Kairi exhaled softly through her nose, her eyes still on Sora's. A dance on the balcony... It was definitely not something she had imagined recently, but was thrilled to have as reality.
