KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Sora kept his soft gaze on Kairi, lightly leading her in the dance.

Namine blinked softly one time, her hand lightly resting on Roxas' shoulder as their dance continued.

Kairi's violet-blue orbs shyly lowered as she continued to dance with Sora, the music flowing around them as they danced among the couples. She still couldn't believe she was actually here, at a ball...with Sora. True, the girl didn't have any idea what happened to Namine, or Roxas by the looks of it. But she felt in her heart that they were together, enjoying themselves just as much as she and Sora were.

Roxas slowly led Namine in the dance, his eyes gazing lovingly at her. He was glad they had decided to do this; he was enjoying himself, and he would be sure to make Namine's night even better. He wanted this to be a night she would never forget, though it was kind of already memorable, considering the masquerade part of it all. And the formal part of it was unusual for all of them as well, since they never really did dress up for anything. But even so, Namine looked gorgeous tonight, even more so than she already was in his eyes. He would try his best to make tonight fun.

Sora gently squeezed Kairi's hand when he saw her look away, noticing a shyness in their depths. He understood why she would possibly feel that way--everything around them was so new, and in a way, overwhelming. But Sora put that feeling in the back of his mind, his love for Kairi being the most important thing in this situation. He would do everything he could to make her feel less shy, and if that meant not letting his shyness come through, well, it was a win-win situation for both of them.

Namine kept her eyes locked with Roxas' ocean blue orbs. She actually had to force herself to hold that gaze, the look in Roxas' eye almost making her want to turn away. The love inside them...it was very apparant, and the way he danced with her brought that out as well. There was an aura surrounding them, and it was full of passionate love. That feeling was a bit overwhelming, but Namine loved it anyway. It was a feeling that she would never get tired of, no matter how overwhelmingly happy she felt.

Kairi let her eyes flit back up to Sora at the gesture, her eyes meeting his once again. She could see so much in his eyes, the feeling of love and care being the strongest. Her lips spread into a small smile as the song filled the room, the girl half-listening to the lyrics. Her main focus was Sora at this point, the girl not really paying any attention to the rest of the people around them.

Roxas felt his small, loving smile stay on his face as he looked down at the girl dancing with him. He tightened his grip on her hand he was holding slightly, giving it a gentle squeeze in the process. The aura around them was so strong, full of love and compassion. It was a little overwhelming, but he didn't object to it. He loved Namine with all he had, and that was never going to change.

 

Sora softly returned Kairi's smile, gently holding his hand in hers as he continued to lead their slow dancing. He wasn't much of a dancer, and he was sure Kairi could see that. But he could also tell by the look in her eye that she didn't care about that, and she only wanted to spend time with him. That feeling was flattering, and it chased away all of Sora's other concerns.

Namine heard the music entering her ears, but she wasn't taking in the lyrics too much. Though she could tell they were very sweet lyrics, the look in Roxas' eyes was so much greater than that, or anything else. His ocean-blue eyes were filled with love and care, and with everything around them being so perfect and peaceful, Namine simply wanted to melt away at the feeling. It feels like I'm flying, she thought to herself, feeling so extremely happy from everything that was happening.

Kairi's smile grew a little at the sight of Sora's before it faded back into her soft smile again. She exhaled softly through her nose, letting Sora lead her through the dance.

Roxas felt his smile widen at the look in Namine's eyes behind her mask, the look giving him even more happiness than he already had. He could tell that she was already enjoying herself, which made him feel more confidence and feel a little satisfaction that he was doing something right. Namine's happiness was very important to him, and he didn't want anything but that for her.

Sora gently held onto Kairi's hand, taking a step over slightly. He lightly pushed her side, raising his hand as he twirled her softly. The music had slowed down for a little while, but it seemed as if it were going to speed up in a moment, so it seemed like the right move to him.

Namine felt her soft smile widen at Roxas, the girl seeing confidence appear in his eyes. She was glad for that; tonight was going to be a fun night, and she realized now that there was no reason to be nervous. Not as long as they were together.

Kairi flitted her eyes up a little as Sora started to twirl her, the girl catching onto his movements. She let her gaze fall in front of her as she twirled, her curled hair coming back over her shoulder when she finished out the spin and her face lit up a little more.

Roxas felt his smile widen a little more into a small, sweet grin as he gently slid his hand off of Namine's side, lifting her hand in his slightly and beginning to twirl her in the open space underneath the disco ball.

 

OOC: I'm not too surprised, we do think alike A LOT. xP

Sora gently pulled Kairi back to him, his hand landing on his side as the dance continued. He was in awe as he took in her features, seeing her radience and brightness. It was so beautiful, that it had him at loss again. Thankfully, though, he had enough sense to continue to lead the slow dancing.

Namine saw what Roxas was doing and she gracefully followed his lead, the girl twirling in that open area as she held his hand. Some of her blonde hair came over her shoulder at the move, but Namine hardly noticed this, her eyes locked on Roxas as she finished the spin.

Kairi felt her smile grow slightly on her lips as she put her right hand back on Sora's shoulder, her eyes meeting his behind his white mask. She was surprised by the twirl, but had caught on to it immediately. Sora was a pretty good dancer from what Kairi could tell, and that only made him more attractive in her eyes.

Roxas's grin grew slightly as he gently brought Namine closer to him again, placing his hand back on her side. She looked beautiful, graceful, and was practically glowing as she danced in front of him. He was in awe again, her appearance being enhanced by the lights in the room, making her look more like an angel than she already did. He was the guardian...and she was the angel.

Sora returned Kairi's smile, his being a little smaller but still full of love and happiness. Staying in that posture, he gently took another step back, leading Kairi in their gentle slow dance. She had caught onto his twirl pretty quickly, and now her gracefulness showed even more. That on top of everything else made Sora feel a bit light-headed, the teen in awe that this girl was his to hold, love, and cherish.

Namine's soft smile widened at Roxas' gentle movement, the girl finding herself closer to him again. She gently brought up her hand, setting it lightly on Roxas' shoulder again.

 

Kairi's smile softened a little as Sora continued to lead her in the dance, her eyes never leaving his. She never had danced with him before, but now she couldn't imagine being anywhere else other than right here, on the dance floor with him.

Roxas took a step to the side slightly, leading Namine in their slow dance as the song slowly came to an end, even though that didn't matter to him; he would still dance with the blonde girl in front of him even if there were no music playing in the background. In real life, you had to make your own background music, and his and Namine's love and compassion happened to be theirs.

 

Sora kept his eyes on Kairi's, noticing that her gaze was fixed on his ocean-blue orbs. He was faintly aware that the music around them was fading out, the song coming to an end. But he wanted to hang on for a moment longer anyway. He slowed their dance slightly, but let it continue for a few more moments.

Namine blinked softly when she heard the music start to fade, the realization surprising her. It felt as if she had only been dancing for a few moments! Had they played a shorter version of the song? She felt cheated! She didn't want the moment to end.

 

Kairi's ears picked up the music slowly fading out, though she didn't stop herself from dancing with Sora as they continued. She didn't want the moment to really end, enjoying it greatly. But she knew she had the whole night to spend with Sora, as well as tomorrow, and the day after that, and the day after that. But she also wanted to keep this dancing moment with her for a little longer, the girl continuing to let Sora lead her slowly.

Roxas heard the music fade out, the boy slowing the dance between him and Namine somewhat. The moment had been so magical and so peaceful that he felt as if the song shouldn't be over yet, and that they had just started.

 

Sora gently brought Kairi closer to him, the teen not worried about stepping on her feet now that their dance was very slow. He held on for a few more moments, leading her despite the fact that the music had faded out completely.

Namine slowed her dance in response to Roxas' movement, the girl focusing her gaze on his eyes again. Her emotions were reflected in his eyes, the two blondes sharing a connection and bond at that moment in time.

 

Kairi's smile faded slightly when Sora brought her closer, but not in discomfort or anything like that. It didn't fade completely, a small smile still on her lips as she looked into Sora's gentle blue eyes. She could feel the love flow from him to her, and it gave her slight chills.

Roxas took a small step closer to Namine, slowing their movements even more as he looked down at her. His small smile grew slightly before he leaned forward, placing a gentle kiss to the girl's forehead.

 

Sora smiled softly, seeing the faint one that stayed on Kairi's lips. He gently brought his arm off of Kairi's side and lightly gripped her upper arm, stopping their dance completely.

Namine's soft smile grew at Roxas' kind gesture, the girl hardly dancing anymore. Her sky-blue eyes flitted up to Roxas, peace and love in her heart.

 

Kairi's feet stopped moving when Sora brought their dance to a halt. However, she kept her gaze on his piercing blue eyes, her violet-blue orbs not leaving for even a second.

Roxas pulled back, his and Namine's dance coming to a slow stop. He flitted his eyes downward, his bright blue orbs being greeted immediately by Namine's sky-blue. His smile returned at hers, feeling a strong aura of love and happiness around them.

 

Sora kept his eyes on Kairi's, not turning away for even one millisecond. After a moment, he leaned forward, connecting his lips with hers. His eyes closed at the contact as he lightly kissed her.

Namine held Roxas' gaze, the blonde not wanting to look at anything else. All the emotions in his eyes were so beautiful...so full of warmth and love. It was all very welcoming, and it made Namine feel very at ease as she looked into his gorgeous eyes.

 

Kairi felt her heart skip a beat at the kiss, her eyes closing as she softly kissed Sora back.

Roxas moved his and Namine's hands that were still in the dancing posture, but he didn't let go. He brought her hand to his lips, kissing her skin lightly before he pulled back, lowering their hands slightly. "You look beautiful," he stated softly, his eyes staying locked with hers.
