KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Namine released a soft breath when she felt a gentle breeze, the wind blowing through her hair and making it move slightly.

 

Roxas opened his eyes as the wind trailed off, the boy's gaze immediately going up to the sky. By the way the sun was positioned in the sky, he knew it was the middle of the afternoon. They had all been here for a while, time passing by so fast because they had so much fun.

 

Namine shut her eyes, the warm sun making her feel tired. If I stay still too long, I'll fall asleep, Namine mused, her thoughts a little sleepy as well.

 

Roxas sighed softly, lowering his gaze to the water again. He wondered what else they would all think to do tonight, or even now. Relaxing like this was nice, especially after that crazy came of tag, even if it was short. But Roxas also wanted to play around, wanting to feel that emotion again, and feel childish.

Kairi took in a soft breath, still awake as she rested with her eyes closed.

 

Namine wrapped her arms around her legs, bringing them closer to her as Namine got more comfortable.

Sora exhaled softly, the brunette awake and very relaxed. Still, he wasn't one for lazing around anymore; he felt like doing something fun.

 

Roxas turned his head, looking at the three teenagers resting next to him. He furrowed his brows slightly as he lowered his gaze to the grass, trying to think of something they all could do.

Kairi felt Sora's hand still in hers in the silence, the girl tightening her hold on it slightly.

 

Namine kept her eyes closed, the girl feeling the warmth from the sun covering her like a comfortable blanket.

Sora gently squeezed Kairi's hand, opening his eyes and gazing down at their hands. He then let his eyes wander, seeing Roxas and Namine on the other side of Kairi.

 

We already played that game of tag, so I'm sure no one wants to play that anymore, Roxas mused silently, still staring at the grass. We already tossed the football around...

Kairi felt her faint smile grow at Sora's gesture, the girl taking in a breath.

 

I didn't even hear them approach, Sora thought to himself, a small smile of amusement appearing on his lips. Oh well, whatever. Sora looked up at the sky, enjoying the peaceful moment.

 

Roxas exhaled, turning his gaze to the water for a second. He thought for another few moments before an idea suddenly came to mind. It was a little random, and would be a pretty funny experience, but he knew it would be fun.

Kairi opened her eyes a little, her violet-blue orbs falling on Sora immediately. She smiled a little more, seeing him at peace for the moment. She then flitted her eyes down to their hands, exhaling softly.

 

Sora kept his gaze up at the sky, not really thinking of anything in particular, just staring off into space.

 

"Hey, you guys?" Roxas started, turning his gaze to the three teens next to him.

Kairi turned her head, unaware that her friends were even next to her. She paid attention though, nonetheless.

 

Sora turned his head toward Roxas, hearing the blonde teen's voice. "What's up?" He asked his friend, paying attention now.

Namine opened her eyes, turning her attention to Roxas.

 

Roxas's eyes scanned over all three sets looking at him, and then he smiled shyly, scratching the back of his head as he tried to figure out how he was going to explain his idea. "Um...," he started slowly, "you guys want to have a quick race?"

Kairi looked at Roxas curiously, wondering where his idea came from. But then she smiled. "Sure," she answered, a little tired of lying down herself.

OOC: Gotta go. See you tomorrow!

 

"Okay," Sora answered, giving Roxas a curious look. Where was this coming from...? Oh well, it was a fun idea anyway. Sora set his free hand on the ground, pushing himself into a sitting position without letting go of Kairi's hand.

Namine tilted her head slightly in curiousity, wondering why Roxas seemed to be so awkward about bringing up this topic. "What kind of race...?" Namine asked slowly.

OOC: Okay, bye!

 

Roxas chuckled slightly at Namine's question. "Piggyback ride," he said with a playful grin.

Kairi's smile grew a little at that statement, and she pushed herself up with her free hand into a sitting position beside Sora, still holding his hand in hers. She giggled a little. "Okay," she said with a small smile, nodding once slightly.

 

Sora grinned at the idea, nodding slightly. "Sounds fun," Sora said, a playful, competitive smirk appearing on his face.

Namine smiled at the idea, seeing the playfulness in Roxas' eyes. "Okay," she replied. How could she say no to such a fun idea? It would be interesting...that she knew for sure.

 

Roxas smiled at his friends, his bright eyes on theirs. He was glad to see them agree to his idea, and he knew that it was going to be fun...and interesting as well. The look on Sora's face told him that this was going to be pretty competitive, and Roxas was all for that. He nodded and then pushed himself up from the grass. Once he was standing up, he looked down at the three people on the ground still. "Alright. Let's go!" he said, his voice showing his playful mood. He offered his hands out to Namine to help her up, his bright blue eyes finding hers.

Kairi's smile widened at Roxas's words, hearing the excitement in them. She squeezed Sora's hand slightly, turning her head to look at him.

 

Sora grinned at Roxas' excitement, the brunette looking forward to the race as well. You're going down, Roxas, Sora thought as he set his free hand on the ground, slowly starting to stand up while holding Kairi's hand.

Namine flitted her eyes up to Roxas, seeing his bright blue eyes on hers. She giggled softly and slid her hands into Roxas', gripping them as she started to rise to her feet.

 

Roxas started to pull Namine up while she began to get up herself. His playful and excited grin stayed on his face as he looked at her, knowing that this was going to be fun.

Kairi let her eyes follow Sora's form for a second before she leaned on her free hand slightly, using it to start slowly standing up herself.
