KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Sora smirked when he saw Roxas pick up his pace, the brunette increasing his running speed as well to keep up.

 

As much as Roxas hated to admit it, Sora was much faster than him. And because the boy was coming after Roxas specifically, he had a feeling that Sora being "it" wouldn't last long.

 

Sora charged forward, his eyes staying focused on Roxas as he picked up his speed more. He couldn't keep going this fast for long, he knew that much. So if he didn't catch up to Roxas in the next few moments, all of his sprinting will have been for nothing.

 

Roxas looked over his shoulder again, seeing that Sora had gotten closer to him since the last time he looked over. He looked forward again, still running at the same pace as he started laughing.

Kairi stopped running when she heard a small laugh, turning around and seeing that Sora was chasing after Roxas. She smiled, starting to giggle a little.

 

Sora joined in with the laughter, his grin staying on his lips as he chased after Roxas. He was running out of energy; he couldn't keep sprinting like this much longer.

Namine realized that Roxas the one being pursued, so she stopped, leaning against a tree about twenty feet away from the boys' chase. She smiled at the scene, seeing it as very humerous.

 

Roxas glanced over his shoulder again, Sora getting closer and closer. He smiled playfully, subconsiously slowing his pace because he wasn't looking in front of him. When he did turn his head, Roxas's eyes suddenly widened when a frisbee went soaring right by his face, causing him to skid slightly in the grass.

 

Namine's eyes widened in surprise, seeing Roxas barely miss that frisbee.

Sora was surprised by Roxas' sudden skid, but then he decided to take advantage of it. He charged up his sprint, rushing forward and hitting Roxas playfully on the shoulder. "You're it!" He called over his shoulder, the teen slowing his run once he was no longer "it".

 

Roxas looked at Sora, hearing the playfulness in his friend's voice. The blond stood where he was, turning his head to look for someone. His eyes wandered until he found her by a tree, and then he smirked playfully.

OOC: Gotta go for the night. See you later!

 

"Roxas, don't you dare!" Namine cried out playfully, putting one hand on the tree as she turned herself to face the blonde boy. Even at a distance, she recognized that playful smirk. And in this case, she didn't like it being directed at her.

OOC: Okay, bye!

 

Roxas leaned his weight on one leg, putting his hand on his hip while his smirk stayed in place. His gaze stayed locked on Namine, the boy teasing her slightly. After a second or two, he let his hand fall to his side and he started off toward Namine's position.

 

Namine's eyes widened slightly when she saw Roxas coming towards her and she quickly spun around, starting to run in the other direction.

 

Roxas heard himself start laughing as he ran after the blonde girl, his eyes never leaving her form.

 

Namine laughed sofly, continuing to run away. She looked over her shoulder slightly, immediatly noticing that Roxas was catching up to her quickly.

 

Roxas might have been slower than Sora, but he knew he was faster than Namine by the way he was catching up to her. Quickly. His laugh softened until it was gone, a playful smile on the boy's face as he raced after the blonde girl.

 

Namine turned her head, looking in front of her as she picked up her pace slightly. She knew that she couldn't get away from Roxas, but she would try anyway. The playful smile stayed planted on her lips as she ran, though her soft laughter had silenced.

 

As Roxas chased after Namine, he felt like a kid again. The way they were playing tag and having so much fun made him feel like he was a little kid. It felt good to have that kind of innocence again, or seem to have it. Regardless, Roxas couldn't help but smile. His pace picked up a little as he grew closer to Namine, not far behind her now.

 

Namine kept her head forward, starting to pant now from tiredness. But she kept running anyway, knowing that Roxas was close behind her.

 

In only a few seconds, Roxas grew so close to Namine that he was less than two feet behind her now. Chuckling softly, the boy reached out and grabbed Namine from behind, bringing both of their runs to a stop. His arms wrapped around Namine from behind, Roxas picked her up slightly and turned, starting to spin her form around in a circle as he smiled in pure happiness.

 

Namine yelped in surprise when Roxas' arms went around her, the girl suddenly feeling herself being lifted off the ground slightly. She was curious as to what he was doing, but her happiness was more powerful than her wonder, the blonde girl laughing at Roxas' gesture.

 

Roxas spun steadily around in a circle with Namine his arms, starting to chuckle in enjoyment and at Namine's own laughter. He spun around once and then lowered Namine so her feet were touching the ground again. His arms still around her from behind, Roxas leaned his head down next to hers. "You're it," he said softly in her ear, though he didn't release her form, not wanting to let go.
