Namine's smile grew at Roxas', seeing the love behind it. "And nothing can ever change that," Namine stated confidently, her eyes turning back to the dog after she finished that simple statement.

Sora flitted his eyes back to the dog for a moment before looking back and Namine and Roxas, seeing how happy they appeared. It was good to see that; both of his friends deserved someone special in their lives, and Sora knew that the two blondes were perfect for each other.

 

Roxas's smile grew a little at Namine's words, his eyes following her gaze to the dog. He kept his hands on his shoulders as he saw the dog's brown eyes lock with his, and then turn its head. The dog now looked in the direction of Sora and Kairi.

Kairi's eyes caught the dog's and she chuckled a little. "Oh, boy," she said, knowing that the dog was looking for a little attention from her and Sora now.

 

Namine let out a short giggle at the sudden change, seeing the dog now focusing on Kairi and Sora.

Sora laughed softly, seeing the golden retriever eyeing Kairi now. "Sorry boy," the brunette started, looking at the dog as he spoke. "But she's taken too," He smiled down at the girl beside him as he wrapped one arm around her shoulders, his eyes staying on her a moment before going back to the dog.

 

Kairi looked up at Sora with a sweet smile on her face before turning her gaze to the dog, a sad look in its eyes. "Aww," she let out, reaching out one of her hands and rubbing the dog's head for a few seconds before bringing her hand back to her lap.

Roxas chuckled a little. "I think he's a little too attached to all of us," he stated, his eyes on the golden retriever. The boy heard clapping and a whistle, seeing the dog sharply turn its head in the direction it came from.

 

Sora's ears perked up at the sound of the wistle, and he noticed that the dog had the same reaction. He chuckled softly in amusement, both to the dog's reaction and Roxas' statement.

Namine heard the whistle, her eyes staying on the dog. It was too bad that it looked as if he were about to go; it was fun having him around for a while.

 

Roxas saw the dog's tail start wagging in happiness, and he heard someone yell.

"Toby! Here, boy!" a young man's voice called, clapping being heard after the call.

Roxas turned his head at the voice, seeing the dog's owner calling over to him. He turned his gaze back to the dog, watching it look at its owner for a moment before looking at Sora and Kairi. The dog suddenly licked Sora on the face before starting to run back to its owner.

 

Sora's eyes widened when he suddenly felt wetness on his cheek, the dog's wet tongue just running over his cheek. Then he saw the dog run away, and he began to understand what had just happened. He just licked me... Sora realized in surprise, bringing up a hand and quickly wiping at the wetness.

Namine's eyes stayed on Sora for a moment, a soft chuckle leaving her lips at his reaction. Then she looked to the dog, following him with her eyes as she saw Toby quickly approaching his owner.

 

Kairi giggled at the sudden wet kiss, and at Sora's reaction.

Roxas chuckled a little at the dog's last action before he ran off, the blonde turning his head to see the Toby's golden coat shine in the sun. He smiled when he saw the dog approach its owner, the teenage boy ruffling the dog's hair.

 

Sora wiped at his cheek several times before letting his hand return to his side, the teen faintly smiling as he looked over in Toby's direction. That dog was very playful... Sora thought with a smile, his blue eyes shining in the sunlight.

Namine smiled softly at the scene, watching as the dog happily got reaquainted with his owner.

 

Kairi looked over in the way the dog, Toby, had run off to, seeing the dog with its owner again. She smiled at the scene, watching the boy play with his dog for a second before rubbing its head. The boy suddenly looked up, his eyes finding Kairi's and then moving to Sora, Roxas, and Namine. He smiled slightly, offering a friendly wave, having known they were the people that Toby had shown his playfulness to. Kairi lifted her hand and returned the wave slightly.

Roxas lifted one of his hands off Namine's shoulder, offering a friendly wave to the stranger that saw them.

 

Sora smiled nicely, bringing up a hand and returning the boy's wave. Even though Sora had only seen the dog and the boy together for a few moments, he immediatly knew that the two had a lot of fun together.

Namine smiled softly and kindly returned the wave, the girl glad that the four of them could play with Toby for a little while.

 

Roxas brought his hand back down, putting it back on Namine's shoulder lightly. He watched as the teenager started playing with his dog again, and Roxas turned his gaze to the girl in front of him.

Kairi let her hand come back to her side as she sat in the grass, another breeze blowing her hair into the side of her face.

 

Namine felt a gentle breeze blow through her hair, her soft smile staying on her lips as she gazed at the boy and dog a moment longer. Then, when she felt another soft gaze on her, she turned her head up slightly, immediatly meeting Roxas' ocean-blue orbs.

Sora's hand fell back to his side after the boy turned away, Sora continuing to watch that scene for a few moments.

 

Roxas met Namine's light blue orbs, seeing happiness in them. He flashed her a grin, both from playfulness and his own happiness.

Kairi brought up a hand and tucked the strands of hair in her face behind her ear, taking in the fresh air.

 

Namine's smile widened at the playfulness in Roxas' eyes, the girl loving to see that emotion. It hadn't been that evident in a while, and she was glad to see that feeling again.

Sora turned his eyes toward Kairi, a soft smile on his lips as he gazed down at her. He still had his arm around her, and he knelt down a little more, sitting on both knees beside her.

 

Roxas chuckled once at his own goofiness, his grin fading into a gentle smile, his teeth showing slightly. He was also smiling because of Namine's, loving to see her smile.

Kairi turned her head at the movement beside her, her violet-blue eyes falling on Sora's piercing blue orbs. She saw the soft smile on his lips, and returned it with her own.

 

Namine's smile softened at the sight of Roxas, seeing the gentleness behind it.

Sora tightened his grip around Kairi's shoulder's slightly, his smile staying on his lips as he gazed at her lovingly.

 

Roxas rubbed Namine's shoulders slightly, letting both of his hands travel up and down her upper arms a little. He kept his eyes on hers, his gentle smile still on his face.

Kairi's smile widened a little, her lips spreading to reveal her pearly whites a little bit.

 

Namine's smile widened slightly at the soft gesture, her sparkling blue eyes staying on Roxas.

Sora leaned over slightly, planting a light kiss on Kairi's cheek before backing off, the gentle smile still on his lips.

 

Roxas let his hands stop at Namine's shoulders again, leaning his head forward slightly and planting a kiss in her light blonde hair. He then pulled back, his eyes falling on hers again.

Kairi's smile widened even more at the cute gesture, her eyes connecting with Sora's once more in the comfortable moment.
