KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Sora approached the door and reached down one hand, setting it on the knob before starting to turn it. He pulled it toward himself and took a step out of the way, his eyes staying in front of him and locking onto the redhead at his door. "Hi Kairi," Sora greeted the girl sweetly, a small smile on his lips.

 

Kairi turned her head at the voice, her violet-blue orbs meeting a piercing blue. She found the smile on Sora's lips, which naturally brought one to her own. "Hey," she greeted nicely, smiling sweetly.

 

"Come on in," Sora encouraged, pulling the door open completely and stepping to the side so Kairi could get in. It was still Febuary, and even though it was almost March, the weather was still pretty cold on somedays. Today didn't seem too bad, thankfully. He hoped it wasn't, anyway, since Kairi had walked to his house in this weather.

 

Kairi nodded slightly, her smile softening a little as she stepped into the house that seemed like home to her.

 

Sora patiently waited for Kairi to take in another step or two so he could close the door, the teen softly watching the teenage girl.

 

Kairi walked forward a few steps, starting to unzip her jacket after being out in the weather. It was nice out today, around the 50s and 60s, which was particularly warm for February. The zipper unhooked as the redhead started to take off her jacket.

 

Once Kairi was inside, Sora took a step forward, shutting the door until it was completely closed.

 

Kairi shrugged off her jacket, revealing her navy blue t-shirt. She hung up her coat on a coat hanger naturally before putting a hand on the wall to balance herself as she started to slip off her shoes.

 

Sora turned around, facing away from the door as he watched Kairi's movements. His gaze wasn't hard at all, just showing his patience and care. Though he knew that Kairi could take care of herself in a lot of cases, he still felt protective of her, wanting to take care of her whenever he could. If there was ever any pressure or stress on her, Sora would gladly take it away and take it as his own. His love for her was very strong, and that love would never die.

 

Kairi looked down at her foot as she slipped off her second shoe, noticing how her golden necklace stuck out against her navy blue t-shirt. She didn't mind at all that it did, and was actually glad to see that it did. The necklace represented something strong between Kairi and Sora, and she was glad it was noticeable. She could never forget the care he provided for her, or the love he gave her. Sora was so sweet and gentle, caring and loving... Kairi caught herself smiling a little as she leaned off the wall, biting her lip a little.

 

"Was the walk over okay?" Sora asked, his voice breaking through the peaceful silence as he gazed at Kairi.

 

Kairi looked up at the question, finding Sora's soft blue eyes. She nodded. "Yeah, it was actually really nice," she answered. The sun and gentle breeze were nice and balanced each other out.

 

Sora smiled softly at the answer, his gaze staying on Kairi. "That's good," he responded, glad to hear an answer like that.

 

Kairi smiled softly with a nod. She wished more days were like this, so then they could go have some fun outdoors. She was happy that Spring was rolling around, tired of the cold weather.

 

Sora kept his eyes on Kairi for a moment before bringing himself off the door, standing upright on his own now. His ocean blue orbs stayed locked with Kairi's eyes as he approached her, stopping right in front of her. He smiled lovingly as he lifted his right hand, bringing it up and lightly setting it on Kairi's cheek.

 

Kairi felt her heart skip a beat slightly at the gentle touch, her eyes staying locked with Sora's. Her soft smile stayed on her lips as she gazed at him, feeling love behind his gaze and smile.

 

Sora smiled lovingly at Kairi, keeping his right hand still on her cheek. Then he brought up his left hand, gently bringing it up and fixing Kairi's hair, which had been messed up the wind slightly. He ran his hand lightly over her red locks in silence.

 

Kairi closed her eyes and exhaled softly at the gesture, feeling chills at Sora's touch. Being with him was so comforting; she wondered why she even left sometimes.

 

Sora's smile softened as he gazed at Kairi, taking in her beauty. She was gorgeous to him, both inside and out. He brought his left hand back to his side and leaned his head forward, lightly kissing Kairi on the forehead.

 

Kairi felt the corners of her mouth turn up a little when Sora's lips met her forehead, taking in a silent breath as she kept her eyes closed. Gosh, she loved him so much.
