KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

A small smile automatically came to Roxas' face when his hand touched Namine's, his eyes moving back up to look into hers. He was thankful she was there, and that he had her in his life. He would be a mess without her, he was sure of that.

 

Namine kept her gaze on their hands for a moment before her sight shifted upward, immediatly meeting Roxas' soft blue eyes. When she saw the smile on his face, a small one appeared on her lips. She loved him so much, and she was so glad to see him smiling again...even if the smile was just a faint one.

 

Namine's face was close enough to Roxas' that he only had to lean forward very little, his lips meeting hers for a brief moment. He pulled back, his soft smile returning along with the relaxation in his eyes.

 

Namine blinked one time after the soft kiss, her eyes staying locked with Roxas'. Her soft smile stayed on her lips, the girl feeling at peace seeing those ocean-blue orbs gazing back at her.

 

Roxas blinked once slowly, opening his eyes halfway. The exhaustion was taking it's toll on him, and he was sure that with Namine's gentle presence and the warmth from the fire, he would leave conciousness soon.

 

Namine flitted her eyes down to their hands for a moment, turning slightly as she started to rub Roxas' hand with her thumb. "Thanks for being my guardian angel," she whispered, truely meaning that statement.

 

Roxas felt his heart grow warm at her words, his smile widening a little. "You're welcome," he replied quietly, giving Namine's hand a gentle squeeze. Wouldn't have it any other way...

 

Namine smiled softly at Roxas' quiet words. She looked away from their hands and let her eyes connect with Roxas' peircing blue orbs, noticing the comfort in their depths. "I love you," she stated softly.

 

"I love you too, Namine," Roxas spoke gently, meaning it with all his heart and a little more. His eyes stayed on hers, even though exhaustion was about to pull him under. He wanted her face and her eyes to be the last thing he saw before he went to sleep.

 

Namine's smile grew slightly at the words, Namine knowing how much Roxas meant them. She lightly grasped Roxas' hand, her thumb stopping its gentle stroking at that moment. She leaned forward a tiny bit, planting a light kiss on Roxas' lips before she returned to her previous position.

 

Roxas closed his eyes at the gesture, his small smile staying on his face as he exhaled in comfort. He held Namine's hand a little tighter in his, holding it securely in his hand.

 

Namine kept her eyes on Roxas a moment longer despite the fact that he had shut his eyes. Her soft smile faded slightly, but it was still there...faintly. She let her eyes flicker shut, the girl exhaling softly in comfort. The feeling that Roxas gave her, just by holding her hand securely in his, it was very comforting. It made her feel safe, and protected. She knew those feelings were true; Roxas always protected her. Always.

 

Roxas felt the peacefulness of the aura in the room, along with sleepiness. He drew in a breath and exhaled it as he spoke, not opening his eyes. "Sweet dreams, Namine," he breathed, feeling himself drifting.

 

Namine peaked her eyes open at the words, hearing the exhaustion taking over in Roxas' voice. "As long as you're with me," Namine said softly, her eyes shutting again. Earlier she had been afriad of having bad dreams, but she didn't want to concern herself with that now...not with the atmosphere around them being so comfortable. As long as Roxas was with her, she would be fine. She was sure of that.

 

Roxas felt the corners of his lips turn up faintly at Namine's response, feeling love from those words. He took in another breath before releasing it. He drifted out of conciousness, his hand holding onto Namine's protectively and her soft words ringing in his ears.

 

"Sweet dreams, Roxas," Namine whispered softly after a few moments, her eyes falling shut again. "I love you," those simple words left her lips and a moment later, she too slipped into a comfortable sleep.
