KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Roxas let his thumb rub over Namine's skin slowly as he kept his eyes locked with hers, his face still close to hers. He blinked softly once, the effects from all of today's action and emotional stress hitting him.

 

Namine exhaled softly, her eyes blinking shut one time before opening back up partway. She gazed down at Roxas' hand on her arm, watching the movement tiredly. The emotional stress was catching up with her, starting to make her feel fatigued.

 

Roxas shut his eyes lightly, taking in the warmth of the fire and the warmth of the moment. His thumb continued to stroke Namine's skin slowly, the sound of rain hitting the house coming to his ears.

 

Namine let her right hand fall slightly, letting it slide off of Roxas' cheek and onto his shoulder. The moment alone was comfortable enough to make her want to drift off to sleep, but the fire also had a soothing effect. Everything around her was calling her into slumber, her heart finally feeling at peace again.

 

Roxas opened his eyes halfway at the movement, his eyes finding the tired expression on Namine's eyes. He gave her hand a gentle squeeze as he still held it, turning his head a little and finding two pillows on the furniture next to him.

 

Namine exhaled softly, feeling Roxas gently sqeeze her hand. He had been holding it so lightly, she had almost forgotten that it was there. She flitted her eyes upward, finding Roxas' ocean-blue orbs again.

 

Roxas lifted Namine's hand and gently moved it into his other hand, his now free hand reaching over and grabbing one pillow off the loveseat next to him. He turned his head and set it down behind Namine for her before he grabbed the other for himself.

 

Namine shut her eyes partway, following Roxas' movements with her sky-blue orbs. A rumble of thunder went off outside, and Namine flitted her eyes to the window when she saw a flash of lightning light up the sky though. It didn't bother her now, though, since she was so close to Roxas.

OOC: I gotta go, bye!

 

Roxas set the pillow behind him and then grabbed the blanket next to him. It was nice and warm next to the fire, and he had a feeling he wasn't the only one who was so tired they didn't want to stand, or get up and walk through a dark house. Roxas gently let go of Namine's hand as he grabbed the blanket, which was big enough to cover both of them.

OOC: Me too. See you tomorrow!

 

Namine sat upright for a moment, seeing Roxas going for the blanket. Apparently I'm not the only one that's tired, she mused to herself. She blinked her soft blue eyes one time, keeping her gaze on Roxas.

 

Roxas lifted the blanket and started to spread it over both him and Namine. With all of this emotional stress, which had been lifted thanks to Namine and her support, as well as the exhaustion from the fight outside his house, Roxas felt like he would pass out.

 

Namine exhaled softly, her eyes flittering shut for a moment before they reopened, the girl gazing at Roxas again.

 

Roxas let the blanket gently fall over his legs and Namine's, adding more warmth than the fire and the moment had already brought.

 

Namine looked down at the blanket, feeling warmth from the cloth. Since it had been sitting by the fire, it was extra toasty, and it was very comfortable.

 

Roxas leaned back tiredly, letting his head find the pillow. He let his eyes find Namine in the dim light from the fire.

 

Namine leaned back as well, her head landing on the soft pillow. She turned on her side slightly, facing Roxas now and gazing into his ocean-blue orbs.

 

Roxas turned over on his side to get a better look at the girl beside him, his eyes staying locked with hers. He offered her a tired smile.

 

Namine smiled softly in response, Roxas' eyes being in line with hers. The silence between them was peaceful, even if the outside world wasn't. The storm was still raging, but Namine didn't mind. Not as long as she was with Roxas.

 

Roxas let his eyes lower to find Namine's arm, and then her hand. He lifted his left hand as he lied on his right side, reaching for her hand to hold in his.

 

Namine's eyes flitted down at the movement, seeing Roxas reach for her hand. She moved her hand foward slightly, meeting Roxas halfway and lightly taking hold of his hand.
