KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Roxas opened his eyes halfway and flitted them to his right, seeing Namine relaxing next to him. He lifted his hand and put it in hers, intertwining their fingers. He then closed his eyes again.

 

Namine flitted her eyes to Roxas and smiled faintly. She let her eyes close halfway as she gazed down at their hands.

 

Roxas exhaled softly in ease. This was nice; no more beeping of his monitor, no more visits from the doctor, no more medicine to be injected into his arm, no more disruptions. He liked it this way, and preferred it like this. He held Namine's hand lovingly as he unwound.

 

Namine shut her eyes and turned her head slightly, lightly resting it on Roxas' shoulder.

 

Roxas turned his head with a small smile and kept his eyes closed as he kissed her hair. He then rested his head against Namine's lightly.

 

Namine smiled faintly, feeling very relaxed. As long as she was with Roxas, she felt safe and protected from everything. She was afriad to go back into the real world; she just wanted to stay here for as long as possible. She squeezed his hand slightly as she exhaled.

 

Roxas returned her gesture as a faint smile stayed on his lips, content and relaxed.

 

Namine quietly let out a breath, letting the serious thoughts disapear. As long as she was with Roxas, she would be happy.

 

Roxas inhaled a breath and exhaled it quietly, feeling himself leave conciousness. He couldn't imagine how he could sleep after all of it he'd done lately, but the atmosphere was too comforting now, and he couldn't really help it.

 

Namine let out a soft sigh, feeling very relaxed and comfortable.

OOC: Time gap time! You can lead. ;D

 

OOC: Right. xD

Roxas took in a breath, waking up a little from his rest. He felt warmth on his side and snuggled closer to it, the warmth being Namine's form. He let out a quiet breath as he stood on the edge between awakening and sleep.

 

Namine softly inhaled and snuggled closer to Roxas, in a light state of sleep.

 

Roxas let his cheek rest against Namine's blonde hair as he started to wake up. He took in a breath and exhaled softly, opening his eyes a little tiredly.

 

Namine shift her position a little when she heard something to her left, unaware that Roxas was waking up.

OOC: Ugh, be right back.

 

Roxas lifted his head from Namine's when she shifted, his eyes falling on her as they stayed halfway open tiredly. He looked down at her head and smiled a little.

OOC: Okay.

 

Namine fell into a deeper slumber and bit down on her lip, one tear sliding down her cheek as she dreamed.

 

In the light, Roxas saw something glimmer on Namine's cheek. He pressed his lips together and reached over, softly wiping away her stray tear.

 

Namine shakily inhaled, a few more tears escaping her eyes.

"I'm sorry, Namine." Her mother's voice was soft and gentle as she looked at the blonde teenager a moment after she had arrived at the hospital. "He's gone."

"No," Namine whispered, her light blue eyes filling with tears. She bit her lip and turned away. "He can't be gone."

"Hun..." Her mother reached a hand towards her daughter to comfort her.

Namine quickly pulled away, curling her fists in anger. "HE'S NOT DEAD!" She screamed, her voice full of emotiom.

 

Roxas bit his lip at her other tears, feeiling a pang of sadness in his heart.

 

Namine's mother broke down in tears and stepped forward, tightly wrapping her arms around Namine. "I'm sorry. He is dead."

Namine gasped when she felt her mother's hot tears against her neck. She tried to break free, but she couldn't move. "No..." she whispered, gasping for air as she started to sob into her mother's shoulder.

Namine silently sobbed in her sleep, the horrible day coming back to her in her dreams exactly how she remembered it.
