KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Roxas knew exactly why she was feeling so miserable. The answer was obvious, and he knew it was because of what just took place here. His eyes saddened slightly at the thought of what could have happened if he didn't know about Brian's little stunt...Something terrible. The tension in the room was coming mostly from him, because he couldn't move. The thought of what could have taken place scared him stiff.

 

Namine exhaled softly, slowly releasing the breath. Her eyes flitted away from Roxas' when she saw some sadness appear in his eyes, and she figured that it was because that was the feeling that appeared clearly in her eyes. Her eyes followed the movement of her hand as she lightly ran it over Roxas' arm.

 

Roxas took in a soft breath, making sure it wasn't too deep. He followed Namine's gaze, feeling her hand stroking his left arm. He uncurled his right hand from its loose fist, aware that the pain was starting to subside. He gently let his hand fall on her hand, stopping its movement.

 

Namine kept her eyes on Roxas' hand on hers, the girl feeling comforted slightly. She slowly let her eyes flicker upwards, immediatly being greeted by Roxas' ocean-blue orbs.

 

Roxas' eyes met Namine's again as he gently curled his hand around hers. He felt slight pain in his hand, but he ignored it to the best of his ability, his main focus on Namine.

 

When Namine felt Roxas gently wrap his fingers around her hand, Namine felt a small pang of warmth in her heart. She moved her hand every so slightly, her hand lightly gripping Roxas'.

 

Despite the slightly traceable look of comfort in Namine's eyes, Roxas could still feel the strange aura in the room. A bad aura, whatever it was. He didn't know what to say or do to make it go away, though.

 

Namine lightly ran her thumb over Roxas' hand, running it over his smoth skin. Her soft gaze stayed connected with his, though he could tell he felt the strange atmosphere around them. Namine couldn't describe it, partly because the odd feeling wasn't coming from her. At least, she didn't think it was, anyway.

 

Roxas felt comfort from Namine's gesture, her soft stroking seeming to make his slight pain in his knuckles disappear. He only wished the aura in the room would leave too; he could feel a lot of his emotions coming from him, hating the fact that they were.

 

Namine exhaled softly, her eyes flickering back down to their hands as she continued the gentle gesture. The silence in the room was very uncomfortable, and she wished it would just disapear. But she also realized that things weren't that simple, and that thought saddened her slightly, more so than she already was.

 

Roxas kept his eyes on Namine though she looked away, and in a disappointed way. He opened his mouth to say something, but then shut it, not really able to find the right words.

 

Namine heard a rumble of thunder outside, surprising her slightly. She had noticed any lightning or thunder in the past few minutes, and she silently wondered if the storm was dying down. A crack of lightning occured outside, making Namine jump slightly. If the storm was dying down, it still had a ways to go before it ended completely.

 

Roxas squeezed Namine's hand when she appeared startled, her form jumping a little. He felt a little pain travel through his knuckles, but he ignored it again. He heard a crackle of lightning, which caused him to flinch a little, followed by a roar of thunder. The storm was pretty bad, and he hadn't even seen it coming.

 

Namine sighed softly, lowering her head slightly and letting her eyes close. She had always hated storms, and she doubt that feeling would ever change.

 

Roxas bit his lip and switched his gaze to the blanket over him. His eyes flitted to Namine and then back again. He gently let his hand slip out of hers, moving his hands to the blanket. He picked up one side and shifted it over, laying it over her lap lightly.

 

Namine slowly opened her eyes, her gaze immediatly catching Roxas' soft gesture. It was sweet, even if she really didn't need the blanket. But then she remembered that he mostly did need it, far more than she did.

 

Roxas set his hands back down in his lap, his eyes flitting up to the girl next to him. He hoped that this would help with the tension in the room, and make it more comfortable.

 

"You didn't have to do that," Namine said softly, her eyes flittering up to Roxas' ocean-blue orbs.

 

Roxas shook his head slightly. "I wanted to," he stated softly. For more reasons than one, he thought.

 

Namine smiled weakly at his response, the girl feeling a little more comfort with the sound of Roxas' voice.
