KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Roxas used his strength and put it into his arms, pushing Brian away from him just after thunder rumbled through the sky. Roxas felt the heavy sagging of his clothing, but he didn't care at the moment about how wet he was.

 

Brian felt himself being forcefully pushed away, his body falling to the ground and landing with a thud. He hissed in pain, turning slightly to try and mitigate that awful feeling. He swallowed hard one time, tasting blood in his mouth.

 

Roxas looked down at Brian, peering through the rain at his form. His fists were clenched at his sides, his breathing slightly heavy from all of the force he put in to deal the last few blows. Brian wasn't even that tough; he said they had a score to settle and made it seem as if he was going to beat Roxas to a pulp. But the jock hadn't even landed one good punch yet.

 

Brian rolled over on the grass, turning his body on its side. He gasped for breath, coughing slightly as he set one hand on the wet grass. He gripped the grass tightly in a hand, feeling great pain all throughout his body. So...Roxas really was tough. It wasn't his brother's wimpiness that had gotten him defeated, but Roxas' strength.

 

Roxas didn't move, keeping his glare on Brian. He still felt that anger inside him, and he felt like taking a few more bursts of it out on the jock, just thinking of what all the jerk had caused.

 

Brian set his hands on the ground, pushing himself up into a sitting position. He groaned softly as he moved himself, feeling fully the strength of Roxas' attacks. Well, it was pretty obvious now that he couldn't win this fight, not even close. In fact, it seemed as if nobody could win against Roxas.

 

Roxas took a few steps closer to the jock, the same enraged look on his face. He definitely hated this guy. A lot.

 

Brian kept one hand on the ground as he set his feet underneath him, starting to push himself up off the ground. His body was soaking wet now, though he hardly noticed that compared to the pain he felt.

 

Roxas stopped when he saw Brian get up, though he still felt that urge to deal one last punch. It was tempting, but Roxas waited to see what Brian was going to do.

 

Brian grunted softly as he stood himself fully upright, his eyebrows furrowed at the pain. He took one wobbly step forward, and then another, starting to just walk away.

 

Roxas furrowed his brows. "Hey," he called, his voice strict as Brian took a step away. He wasn't done yet.

 

Brian paused for a moment, his back toward Roxas. He wasn't sure what Roxas would do either way; if Brian ignored him, would Roxas come after him? Or would that happen even if he stayed? Still, he figured that it would be better not to risk ticking Roxas off anymore. He stood still, not turning around to face Roxas as the rain poured down on him.

 

Roxas took a few steps forward, ignoring the rain that fell in his face. Standing a foot behind Brian, Roxas spoke loudly through the rain. "Never go near her again," he demanded. "Your brother dealt with me once, and now so have you. If either of you touch Namine again, I swear it'll be just as worse as it was the first time."

OOC: I have to go. I swear I'm going to die from all of the crap I'm getting from my sister. Ugh. D8 See you later!

 

Brain listened to the words, understanding them through the pouring rain and the pulsing of his head. He stood still for a moment before starting to walk away, limping because of the pain in his stomach.

OOC: Aww, all right. See you tomorrow!

 

Roxas peered through the pouring rain, his breathing heavy from all the fighting he had done. Brian's form was slightly blurry from the rain in his eyes. But he watched him go anyway, knowing that the battle was over.

 

Brian continued to walk through the pouring rain, not turning around even one time. He had lost that fight; there was no point in him going back and making any more stupid mistakes. It was over.

Namine sighed softly as she gazed at the doorway in front of her, the girl sitting on the floor. After everyone had left, she felt no desire to move herself back to the couch, so she simply lowered herself to the ground and sat down. She couldn't hear any noise over the heavy rain and occasional rumble of thunder, and it was both a blessing and a curse. Feeling nervous and worried, the blond pulled her legs closer to her chest, wrapping her arms around them.

 

Roxas winced a little, squeezing his eyes shut for a brief moment before opening them, continuing to watch Brian walk away. He had to make sure that this punk disappeared before he made any moves. Namine's protection was too important.

 

Brain silently walked through the rain, the downfall of water making it hard for him to even see ten feet in front of him. This storm was bad, and it only reflected his sorrow that he had lost the fight so badly.

Namine leaned her head forward and let her chin rest on her knees as she blankly looked at the doorway in front of her. What if he's hurt? Roxas went out to fight him...because of me. So if he's injured, it'll be my fault. Namine's thoughts of concern continued to run through her head, the girl feeling anxious and very worried. I love Roxas more than anything; I just hope he's all right...

 

Roxas began to lose sight of Brian because of the heavy coat of rain falling from the dark clouds above him. He winced again, both at the pain in his side from Brian's kick and at the pulsing throb in his hand from his punches he dealt to the jock. Roxas lifted his hand, watching as droplets never ceased to hit his hand as he flexed it, sucking in a breath through his teeth because it hurt.

 

Namine was very worried, but she didn't move, not wanting to see anything she wasn't meant to see. She still felt fear in her heart...fear that Brian would come back and haunt her somehow; someway. Of course she knew that as long as Roxas had a say in the matter, she would be safe and protected. But she had no doubt that she would mentally be haunted by this whole experience for some time. The nightmares were probably going to be terrible...
