KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

"Here," Roxas started, holding out her shoes. "You should put these on." His eyes met hers, detecting weakness in their depths.

 

Namine leaned forward slightly and raised her hands, grabbing her shoes. "Thanks," she said softly, gently taking the footwear out of Roxas' hands.

OOC: Gotta go for now, bye. D8

 

Roxas nodded in response, his eyes following Namine's movement. He then took the jacket off of his shoulder and held it in his hand. Once she was done getting her shoes on, he would give it to her.

Namine sat one shoe on the side of the couch before bending over, her eyebrows furrowing slightly at the pain in her stomach. It was bad when she leaned over like that, but it needed to be done. The girl opened the tops of her sneakers before slipping in her right food and starting to tie her laces.

 

Roxas pressed his lips together as he watched patiently, feeling the heavy aura still in the room. He wanted to leave, that way they could hopefully leave the aura behind forever. When they came back, he began to hope it would be gone.

 

After finishing with that one, Namine did the same thing with her other shoe, now wearing both shoes on her feet. She didn't know if she would be doing any walking, but it didn't matter; it would feel awkward going out without shoes.

 

Roxas held out the jacket once Namine was finished. "Put this on," he requested softly, his own jacket draped over his left arm. He didn't know if it was windy or not, but by what he had seen when he looked out his window, it appeared to be pretty chilly. She was better off wearing a coat than not wearing one at all.

 

Namine flitted her eyes up to Roxas at the soft request, her gaze falling on the coat he offered her. She smiled faintly, gratitude showing in her light-blue orbs. She reached up with her right hand and gently took the jacket out of Roxas' hand.

 

Roxas felt the corners of his lips turn up slightly at Namine's faint smile. Once the jacket was out of his hand, he grabbed his off of his arm and started to put it on, slipping his hand through one grey sleeve.

 

Namine slipped one arm through the black coat sleeve before bringing the rest around her back, inserting her left arm into the other sleeve. The coat felt a little bit, but that wasn't surprising, since it was Roxas'.

 

Roxas slipped his other arm through the other sleeve, pulling at the collar of the jacket once he finished putting it on. His eyes fell on Namine then, seeing that her jacket was on as well.

 

Namine looked down for a moment as she pulled lightly at the zipper, bringing it up to about halfway. She felt a gentle gaze on her and she let her eyes move up, connecting with Roxas' soft blue eyes again.

 

"You ready?" Roxas asked softly, keeping his eyes on Namine as he pulled up his zipper a little. Hopefully it wouldn't be too cold with the sun or anything; he didn't want Namine to get any worse.

 

Namine nodded slightly, blinking softly one time before answering. "Yes." The blond girl's voice was quiet, partly because she didn't want to show that she was still a little nervous.

 

Roxas nodded once as he spoke. "Okay." He offered her a small reassuring smile before bending down to pick her up.

 

Namine smiled weakly, her eyes staying on Roxas as she saw him move. She was very appreciative for all that he was doing for her, but she couldn't find any words to express it at the moment, too jumbled up inside to sort everything out.

 

Roxas wrapped one of his arms around Namine's back securely as his other arm went underneath her legs. He swiftly lifted her up, her light weight being easy for him to lift.

 

Namine kept one hand lightly on her stomach as she felt herself being held securely in Roxas' arms. She lifted her eyes toward his face and gazed softly at him for a brief moment before bringing her other arm around slightly, wrapping it around Roxas' back.

 

Roxas looked down at the girl in his arms, his eyes falling on hers. He held her tightly in his arms as he started out of the room, heading toward the front door. He promised her that everything would be all right, and he would keep that promise.

 

Namine slowly exhaled, her eyes falling slightly. The girl lightly leaned her head against Roxas' shoulder, wanting to melt away at his gentleness but too stressed to actually do that.
