KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

"I'll carry you," Roxas said, a small, reassuring smile spreading on his face. "It's no big deal." It wasn't, really. It gave him a reason to hold Namine close, to ensure she was safe and protected.

 

Namine smiled weakly at Roxas' response, her eyes staying connected with his. He had answered pretty quickly, and it comforted her slightly, in a way that she couldn't really explain. She supposed that she just felt relieved that he wasn't sick of her yet and that he was still being gentle and caring with her.

 

Roxas kept his smile on his face, the expression widening a little in assurance as he looked Namine in the eyes for a moment longer. Then he leaned forward, pressing a light kiss to her forehead before pulling back. He would take her smile and silence as his response.

 

Namine kept the faint smile on her lips as she gazed up at Roxas, knowing that he understood her perfectly. She gripped his hand a little tighter for a moment, nervous but feeling comforted.

OOC: I gotta go to bed, bye!

 

Roxas looked Namine in the eyes, his smile fading slightly. "It'll be fine. I promise," he said, his tone comforting but serious.

OOC: Me too. See you later!

 

Namine looked down for a second, seeing their hands together and hearing Roxas' simple promise. As long as they were together, she believed him. He had a habit of making things less severe than they already were, and she loved him for it; though not as much as she loved him. "I believe you," the blond girl said quietly, her eyes flickering up to Roxas' face again.

 

Roxas smiled a little at Namine's response, glad to hear her say that. He looked at her for another moment before starting to get up. As soon as they got to the doctor, the better.

 

Namine loosened her grip on Roxas' hand, but kept her eyes on his. They reassured her, silently telling her that everything would be all right. It helped relax her slightly, and it made her feel a little more brave.

 

As Roxas stood up, he turned his head to look down at the girl as he still held her hand loosely in his. "Let me go get my shoes and then we'll get going," he said softly, his eyes holding hers.

 

Namine nodded softly, her light gaze staying on Roxas. "Okay," she said quietly, wondering how the weather was outside. It was still Febuary, after all. Wearing shoes herself would probably be a good idea as well, but she couldn't remember where she left those. And she didn't have anything covering her arms, either.

 

Roxas looked at Namine for one last second before letting his hand slip out of hers, heading out of the room to grab his shoes.

 

Namine exhaled softly after Roxas had left the room, her hands sitting lightly in her lap. She hadn't eaten (and kept down) anything for...what, three days? Along with the weakness that came from that, she was also feeling weak because of her lack of sleep. The blonde girl leaned her head on the side of the couch, her eyes shutting.

 

Roxas left the room and went upstairs to quickly grab his shoes. He entered his room, finding his shoes by his bed before putting them on. As he was tying his, his eyes found Namine's by the also, so he picked them up. He glanced outside his window, figuring it was a little chilly outside despite the sunshine. Taking that into account, he left his room and headed down the hall and down the staircase to get to the coat closet.

 

Namine moved her legs off the edge of the couch, shifting slightly as she did that. Honestly, she just wanted to get it over with now. If she had to go to the doctor, than she wanted to get it done so it was out of the way. The fear that lingered inside her heart...making her wonder if something was seriously wrong...was torturous.

 

Roxas reached the first floor and started to approach the coat closet by the front door. He tucked Namine's shoes under his arm as he opened the door, searching for light jackets for both of them. He found a grey one of his that he wore back in the fall because of the chilly weather and threw it over his arm. Digging through the hangers, he found another one of his jackets, a plain black one for Namine. It was probably going to be a little big, but it would work.

 

Namine sighed softly through her nose, her head leaning comfortably against the side of the couch. She was so sick of all this....she just wanted it to end.

 

Roxas held the black jacket in his hand as he shut the closet door, turning to go into the living room. He was actually quite relieved that they were going to the doctor, because this pain Namine was in was horrible. She didn't deserve it; any of the unfortunate events that she got. Roxas entered the living room, his eyes immediately falling on the girl on the couch.

 

Namine's eyes stayed shut tiredly as she sat there on the couch, still aware that the television was playing softly in the background.

 

Roxas draped the jacket over his shoulder as he approached Namine, grabbing the shoes from under his arm with his free hand. "Namine," he called softly as he stopped in front of her.

 

Namine's eyes flickered open at the sound of her name. She brought her head away from the side of the couch as she gazed up at Roxas.
