KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Roxas nodded once, letting his hand leave her shoulder as he moved over to sit next to her. The stronger look in her eyes...which emotion was affected? The fear, panic, suffering, sorrow, or discomfort?

 

Namine's eyes flitted away from Roxas' eyes for a moment as she watched him shift positions, noticing a small difference in him. She couldn't place it though, since she wasn't in the best shape herself.

 

Roxas exhaled softly as he got situated and relaxed into the couch next to the blonde. His eyes were on his lap before he flitted them to the side, looking at the side view of Namine's face.

 

Namine raised her eyes as she turned her head, facing toward Roxas again. Her eyes immediatly locked onto his piercing blue orbs, which were always easy to catch onto.

 

Roxas met Namine's eyes once more, and he tried searching them again. When she moved a second ago...one of her emotions grew stronger, but he just couldn't put his finger on which one it was. Maybe he was overreacting and worrying too much. Maybe she was just fine, and he was too worried from his nightmare before.

 

Namine kept her gaze on Roxas' eyes, seeing the teen searching her eyes again. She wasn't completely sure why...maybe just to make sure that she was all right. She had no idea how the emotions in her heart appeared, so maybe Roxas was worried over whatever her eyes had shown him earlier...

 

After a minute, Roxas gave up, turning his head and looking away. Like before, Namine wasn't the easiest person to read, and he knew that. Well, if there was something bothering her, she would tell him...right?

 

Namine exhaled softly after Roxas tore his gaze away, leaving the girl with her confused feeling. It looked as if he were searching for something specific, but she couldn't really tell what. Still, confusion wasn't going to do her any good. The tension level was high enough without that emotion. The blonde girl scoot herself a little closer to Roxas, her body sitting right beside his now. She leaned her head over slightly and lightly leaned it against Roxas' shoulder, her eyes shutting again.

 

Roxas turned his head slightly at the movement and slight weight on his shoulder, his eyes falling on the girl. He was worried about her; after the two horrific events within the last 48 hours, he wasn't that surprised to find her an emotional wreck. He was close enough as it was, and he was only a victim in one situation out of two. Roxas couldn't imagine what the past was doing to Namine.

 

Namine kept her eyes closed as she leaned her head against Roxas' left shoulder, feeling a little more comfortable with him closer to her. She raised her left hand slightly and set it on Roxas' lower arm, hoping that would help sooth her crazy, raging emotions as well.

 

Roxas felt his lips curve slightly at the gesture, his eyes falling on Namine's hand. He lifted his right hand off his leg and gently placed it on top of hers, curving his fingers around her hand.

 

Namine exhaled softly through her nose, feeling Roxas gently wrap his hand around hers. Her heart skipped a beat at the gentle touch, and it helped her a little bit more...though she was still far from alright.

 

Roxas held Namine's hand protectively in his, his lips still holding that slight smile as he let his thumb travel over a small part of her hand. Whatever he couldn't find in her eyes and whatever was wrong that he couldn't see, he hoped he could at least help a little with the gesture.

 

Namine bit her lip lightly, her head turning slightly as she snuggled closer to Roxas. The warm feeling that he was already giving her was soothing, and she wanted more of that comfort. She didn't know what she would do without that comfort; she knew that she was close to breaking down as it was...even with Roxas by her side. Everything was just so overwhelming...

 

Roxas flitted his eyes to the girl right beside him, his eyes looking down on her blonde hair. He held her hand a little tighter as he continued his rubbing motion, letting his cheek rest against the top of her head, his head angled toward her as his eyes gazed at the other side of the room.

 

Namine let her tired eyes stay shut as she inhaled a deep breath before slowly letting it back out, forgetting for a moment the pain that deep breathing caused for her stomach. She obviously remembered it at that moment though, when the pain grew in intensity.

 

Roxas inhaled a breath and then let it out, seeing strands of Namine's hair move slightly from the air that left his lungs. His eyes looked over at the moving screen in the room, having been oblivious to the fact that the TV was even on. He went back to forgetting about it, not in the mood to watch any TV.

 

Namine felt her head fall slightly before she raised it back to its previous position, the girl feeling weak, tired, and tense all at one time. Despite the sounds of the television in the background, the noises didn't affect the heavy aura at all.

 

Roxas lifted his cheek from her head when it moved, his eyes falling from the screen to Namine again. He remembered that she had stomach pains...though how could he forget? And he recalled the moment last night he had said he would take her to the doctor this morning. If she was still in pain, he would. Most definitely. He wanted to rid her of that pain forever, and would do anything to succeed.

 

Namine sighed softly, staying in that position now. She wasn't going back to sleep now, for many reasons. One of them being her fear of nightmares, and the other being the pain in her stomach. She remembered back to the night time, and how the pain woke her up several times.
