KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Kairi looked into his eyes for another moment before curling her fingers over the precious item in her hand. She gently shifted her position, wrapping her arms around Sora and laying her head against his chest.

 

Sora was a little surprised at the sudden movement, but he didn't mind it at all. His smile spread as he looked down at the girl, loving to feel her so close to him. He leaned his head down slightly and plant a light kiss on top of her red hair before bringing it back to its original position. He gently shifted his arms, lightly wrapping one around Kairi's back and then the other around the front of her.

 

Kairi felt herself smile a little more as she was in Sora's arm. She felt protected and loved and cared for greatly. And she loved that. She loved him. Kairi felt as if she could stay there forever, in his arms.

 

Sora kept his arms gently around Kairi, loose enough not to cause discomfort but tight enough to keep her close to him. He never wanted to let go of her, enjoying the feeling he had in his heart at that moment.

 

Kairi closed her eyes in comfort, letting out a soft breath as she let her cheek rest against Sora's shirt. She noticed then that the heavy aura in the room earlier...it was gone. She couldn't feel it anymore; love replaced it. And she was comfortable with it.

 

Sora smiled softly as he gazed down at Kairi, seeing the girl comfortable. He was so glad they were together like this; things were comfortable and peaceful again. But even more than the peace, the aura that surrounded them held love. That was the best feeling of all.

 

Kairi drew in a slow, deep breath through her nose, taking in Sora's scent; him still smelling like the ocean air despite the fact they were in the city. It helped her relax more, and she released the breath slowly.

 

Sora diverted his eyes away from the girl, not wanting to be rude and stare at her. His eyes looked at the wall in front of him as he took in a breath, relaxing.

 

Kairi let her thin form relax into Sora, feeling her eyes start to slightly get heavy, even if they were closed. She didn't mind, though; she was in Sora's arms...safe, protected, and loved.

 

Sora exhaled softly, tightening his embrace around Kairi slightly when he felt her form relaxing.

 

Kairi felt her small smile fade a little as she felt herself growing more tired. As she inhaled a breath, she wondered how she could sleep just after she rested for so long. Oh, well. It didn't matter anymore; now was what mattered.

 

Sora kept his arms wrapped around Kairi as he let his head lean against the side of the couch, his eyes closing in relaxation.

 

Kairi felt herself becoming more tired, even if it was slightly. But she didn't mind falling asleep, because she was in Sora's arms.

 

Sora inhaled softly, then exhaled, the environment encouraging sleep. Although he had gotten a lot of sleep earlier, it wasn't the deep sleep he needed, since it had been filled with nightmares. He had a feeling that wouldn't happen again with Kairi here, safe in his arms.

 

Kairi felt herself slowly drifting, and just in case she left conciousness before she said something to Sora, she spoke it now. "I love you, Sora," she whispered, tightening her arms around him slightly, the necklace still in her grasp.

 

Sora opened his eyes partway, gazing down at the girl in his arms. "I love you too," he said quietly in response, his embrace tightening a little bit.

 

Kairi felt herself smile slightly at his words, snuggling a little closer to him. She exhaled softly, her eyelids much heavier and sleep calling her.

 

Sora felt a tired smile appear on his lips when he felt Kairi snuggle closer to him, feeling warmth in his heart.

 

Kairi inhaled softly before exhaling the breath, drifting out of conciousness, her head against Sora's chest.

 

Sora's eyes fell shut again as he continued to hold Kairi tightly in his arms, dozing off himself as the peaceful aura called him to sleep.
