Kairi felt chills at the gesture as she kissed Sora. She moved her hand from his cheek and into his brown spikes on his head.

 

Sora felt his lips curve up a tiny bit at Kairi's gesture, the kiss staying very gentle and sweet.

 

Kairi kept her hand in his spikes, moving her fingers a little as she slowed the soft kiss.

 

Sora felt chills at the soft touch, his gentle stroking slowing down slightly at the light movement he felt.

 

Kairi felt herself relaxing, much of her tension leaving as the kiss slowed, along with the gesture from Sora. She kept her fingers in his hair as some of the heaviness of the aura lifted.

 

Sora tilted his head slightly as the kiss slowed, feeling a sense of peace in the air around them. He was thankful for that; neither of them had any relaxation time since everything that had happened, and it was about time something went right.

 

Kairi let her hand easily run through Sora's spikes as she kissed him slowly and gently, feeling her spirits lifting slightly. It was true what they said--the past will haunt you. And it did, but she knew that the future was going to be a brighter road...and as long as she was with Sora, she was sure that was true.

 

Sora gently pulled himself away from the kiss, a soft breath leaving his nose after he did. He kept his forehead lightly pressed against Kairi's as his ocean-blue eyes flickered open, seeing Kairi's closed eyes.

 

Kairi let her hand come back and rest on Sora's shoulder, a quiet breath leaving her. She inhaled softly through her nose, letting her eyelids open, her violet-blue orbs falling on the ocean-blue directly in front of her.

 

Sora blinked softly once, his gaze staying on Kairi's gentle orbs. A faint smile started to appear on his lips, simply because she made him happy.

 

Kairi felt the corners of her lips curve up slightly at the sight of Sora's small smile, feeling peace for the first time in what felt like a long while.

 

Sora's smile grew slightly at the sight of Kairi's, his eyes staying locked on her eyes. He continued to stroke Kairi's arm with his hand as the more peaceful silence surrounded them.

 

Kairi released her breath softly through her nose at Sora's gesture, looking into his eyes. She loved the feeling he gave her, and she hoped to keep this feeling for a very long time. But she already had an idea at how long it would last... "Forever and a day," Kairi whispered softly, her small smile on her lips.

 

Sora smiled at the familiar phrase, his eyes staying locked with Kairi's. He immediatly knew where it came from, and some simples words escaped his lips before he even thought about it. "You're my light," he whispered softly, the smile staying on his lips. "Forever."

 

Kairi felt her smile grow from the sweetness of the moment, gazing into Sora's eyes as the words touched her heart. She loved him with all her heart, and she was positive he knew that by just the look in her eyes and from the words that had left her lips.

 

Sora's smile stayed on his lips as he gazed into Kairi's eyes, seeing love in their violet-blue depths. He was sure that his eyes reflected the same emotion, because that was what he felt the most at that moment.

 

Kairi found the emotions in Sora's eyes, feeling warmth in her heart. She leaned forward slightly, pressing her lips to Sora's for a brief moment. She then pulled back, going back into her previous position, her gentle eyes locking with his again.

 

Sora's smile stayed on his lips as he gazed at the girl in front of him, feeling comfort and joy in his heart. He loved her so much, and how she could bring up these emotions in his heart. His life would be nothing without her.

 

Kairi gazed into his eyes, loving what she saw in them. Love. Peace. Comfort. Trust. Faith. Many emotions were expressed through a person's eyes, their real feelings, and Sora's eyes didn't lie.
