KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

After she was finished, Namine sucked in a shaky breath, a few stray tears running down her cheeks. She felt so frustrated with everything--her pain, her sadness, her tears. She was frustrated with everything, except for Roxas. She could never get that emotion because of him.

 

Roxas used his free hand to rub Namine's shoulder, his eyes staying on her. He didn't know what else to do at that moment... But he did know he would take her to the doctor very soon. She shouldn't have to go through this.

 

Namine moved her head back a little, letting it rest on the pillow again. She felt absolutely miserable, the tears continuing to gently roll down her cheeks. She was faintly aware that Roxas was still with her, but she was too drained to recognize more than that.

 

Roxas let go of Namine's blonde hair, but kept his eyes on her. He let his hand rub her shoulder a little as he bit his lip. He felt so bad... He would much rather be in her place so she didn't have to suffer.

 

Namine bit her lip lightly, sadness in the depths of her heart. Everything was going wrong...again. Why couldn't things just work out all right for once?!

 

Roxas flitted his eyes from Namine to his lap, keeping his hand on her shoulder but keeping it still. That jerk...He was going to pay for this.

 

Namine's negative thoughts continued to flood her mind, and she hated it. She hated this whole situation, things being miserable for both her and Roxas. His silence spoke louder than any words possibly could, and she knew that he was worried about her.

 

Roxas exhaled softly, pushing himself up from the couch. He bent down, grabbing the trashcan before starting to walk out of the room to clean up.

 

Namine felt Roxas' gentle presence leave her, and it only increased her feeling of sorrow. She curled herself into a ball, one arm wrapping tightly around her stomach, and the other sitting on the pillow beside her head. The girl took in a big breath and then turned to burry her head into the pillow, her crying increasing in intensity because of her misery.

 

Roxas walked down the hall to clean out the trashcan. He closed his eyes and sighed softly in sadness. None of this was fair for her. Namine didn't do anything to deserve this. He would do his best to make her feel better, no matter what it took. Roxas opened his eyes and turned into the bathroom, starting to clean out the trashcan.

 

Namine sniffled into the pillow, feeling the tears start drying to her face. She had used up all of her tears, but that didn't take away the misery she felt. This was positively dreadful.

 

After a minute or so, Roxas finished cleaning out the trashcan. He left it in there as he left the bathroom, starting down the hall to the kitchen. He entered the room, approach the fridge and grabbing a cold bottle of water for Namine. He shut the fridge door before leaving the room and heading toward the living room.

 

Namine kept her head burried in the pillow, shivering slightly. She wasn't sure if she was physically cold because she only wore a tanktop on her top half, or if it was because of the sick feeling she had. It didn't feel as if she would vommit again, but her stomach just felt so awful...

 

Roxas's eyes saddened when he found Namine's form, and when he felt the aura in the room. He approached her at the couch and knelt down in front of her, putting the water bottle on the floor for the moment. He put his arm around her slightly as he leaned forward, kissing her head.

 

Namine felt chills at the soft embrace, her eyes staying shut. She felt Roxas lightly kiss her head and she felt a small sense of relief, glad he was with her again.

 

Roxas pulled back and looked down at Namine, keeping his arm around her. He bit his lip slightly, the aura in the room pretty heavy and unhappy.

 

When she felt Roxas pull back, Namine turned her head out of the pillow, her soft blue eyes flickering open and gazing at the boy in front of her. The concern and sadness was obvious to her, and she felt guilty for being the one who triggered those emotions.

 

Roxas gazed into Namine's sad eyes. "I'll take you to the doctor, Namine," he whispered softly. "You shouldn't have to go through this."

 

Namine felt her eyes become even more sad at the statement, not wanting that at all. She had always disliked going to the doctor but now...after everything that had happened, she hated that place. It wasn't only the place itself, but also the fear and uncertainty it brought.

 

Roxas caught the sadness in the depths of Namine's eyes grow, feeling the aura in the room put on more weight. "It'll be okay," he assured her. "I promise." He gazed into her eyes, his arm still around her.
