KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Namine swallowed the bite and then took another out of her sandwhich, not feeling sick yet. She was thankful for that, the bad feeling in her heart momentarilly being forgotten.

 

Roxas continued to eat his sandwich, and faster than he expected. It was gone before he even realized it. The boy sighed softly in satisfaction, his eyes staying on the TV.

 

Namine eyed the last bit of sandwhich that sat on her plate, about a quarter of it remaining. She made no move to touch it, feeling as if she had enough to eat. True, that wasn't much, but she felt as if she couldn't eat anymore.

 

Roxas nibbled on his bottom lip a little, not really noticing it as he stared at the television, actually paying attention to it for once.

 

Namine exhaled softly through her nose, her eyes flickering shut again. The food had tasted refreshing, but she had a feeling that the food wasn't going to satisfy her. Why? Because it would come back up. Again.

 

Even though he was paying attention, Roxas still had some thoughts running through his mind. The most important one was how Namine was doing. She hadn't said anything, and he was sure that was because she was eating, which lifted his spirits a little. She ate, and hopefully that would help.

 

"Roxas," Namine said softly her eyes opening as she gazed at the back of his head.

 

"Hm?" Roxas quit biting his lip at her voice, turning his head to look at her.

 

"...I don't think I can keep it down..." Namine stated softly, her sad blue eyes gazing into his.

 

Roxas kept his gaze locked with her eyes, a bad thought coming to mind. "You mean..." he started softly, starting to understand her words.

 

Namine nodded slightly, her eyes shutting and her eyebrows furrowing slightly in frustration and sadness. "Yes."

 

Roxas's eyes widened slightly and he pushed himself up quickly to go grab a wastebasket, hearing the slight shakiness in her voice.

 

Namine inhaled through her nose, swallowing hard to try and keep everything down. She didn't want to throw up, and if she had to, she definitly wasn't going to do it on the carpet.

 

Grabbing the wastebasket in one corner of the living room, Roxas picked it up, glad to see it was empty as he quickly carried it back over to the couch.

 

Namine's eyes flitted open at a soft sound, seeing Roxas coming over with a trashcan. She couldn't help but notice the worry in his eyes, and it made her sad.

 

Roxas set the trashcan down right in front of Namine, knowing she wasn't able to keep the food down any longer.

 

Namine forced herself closer to the edge of the couch, her head the furthest forward as she threw up into the waste basket.

 

Roxas sat down on the edge of the couch right next to Namine, reaching forward and holding her hair back as she got sick. He kept his eyes on her hair as he held it back and away from her face, a sad feeling in his heart.

 

Namine shut her eyes as she coughed up her sandwhich, all the sadness, pain, and hurt returning from earlier. She hated that the bad emotions had returned, but there was nothing she could do about it now.

 

Roxas was saddened by the fact that Namine was in such bad shape like this, and he knew he would have to take her to the doctor. She couldn't keep anything down because of the injury that moron caused. Roxas knew that guy was going to pay for what he had done, because Roxas was going to make him.
