KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Namine sighed softly, her eyes staying closed. The thoughts weren't sad at all, because they were about the love that she and Roxas shared. She had faith in that love, and she knew it would never die or diminish. It would only continue to grow...as hard as that was to imagine. Their love was already so deep, that it was surprising her that it was growing.

OOC: Getting kicked off for a little...be back in maybe 30 mins or a little more. =/

 

Roxas tightened his grasp on Namine's hand slightly, his other hand slowly coming back down her forearm. He flickered his eyes up to Namine's face, seeing her calm, relaxed expression, causing him to smile slightly. She seemed much better already than she had been a few minutes ago...back in the bathroom. He could understand if she was tired, though, and wouldn't be surprised if she fell asleep. Roxas figured she had both physical and emotional exhaustion. The boy inhaled softly through his nose, looking back down at their hands.

Namine gently squeezed Roxas' hand in response, her tired eyes staying closed. She felt his caring eyes on her, but she couldn't force her eyelids to open. It was as if a load of bricks sat on top of them, making them too heavy for her to even open partway. A soft breath left her lips, the girl feeling a little tired from the emotional and physical stress she had gone through.

 

Roxas smiled slightly, holding Namine's hand tightly and lovingly in his. He glanced up at her, care and love behind his gaze as he watched her relax more. Even if she did fall asleep, he'd still be right next to her; Roxas didn't have anywhere else to go, and didn't even want to leave her side.

 

Namine faintly heard the sounds of laughter in her ears, a television show playing in the backround. The volume on the tv wasn't turned down or anything...at least, Namine didn't think it was. Roxas couldn't have moved to turn it down, since he was still right by her. So the only explaination was that she was fading out of conciousness. The presence that she felt from Roxas was comforting enough to let her drift into sleep without guilt.

 

Roxas kept his eyes on Namine's angelic face as he let his hand move along her arm without thought, still comforting her as she appeared to be falling asleep.

 

Namine inhaled softly, still aware that Roxas was lightly running his hand over her arm. The motion was comforting, soft and full of love. Those feelings were in her heart as one last breath escaped her lips, the blonde girl leaving conciousness.

 

Roxas listened to Namine's even breathing, ignoring the TV behind him. He was sure she was asleep, but he continued to rub her arm for a few moments anyway. After a few minutes, he stopped, shifting his position so his back was against the front of the couch in front of Namine's form. Roxas kept holding her hand as he sat there, looking at the television, his hand holding hers on the side closest to her face. He made sure not to move her arm, and so he kept his hand up and behind him slightly as he held her hand, his hand over his shoulder slightly.

 

Namine lightly gripped the hand that held hers as she slept, feeling the soft presence still with her. She was thankful for that, and though she wasn't able to give any other reassurances, she was sure Roxas knew her appreciation.

OOC: I don't really have any ideas, so I guess you can lead. ;D

Roxas watched the TV in silence as the girl behind him on the couch slept soundly. He was unsure of how long he had been sitting there exactly, but he didn't leave Namine's side. He had his hand still connected with hers, one of his fingers lightly tracing along the back of her hand as his eyes stayed on the television.

 

Namine inhaled softly, her conciousness starting to come back to her at the light touch. She had no idea how long she had slept...or if she had slept at all. Her soft blue eyes slowly flitted open, noticing a different lighting in the room. Yeah, she had definitly fallen asleep. She sighed groggily, blinking her eyes a few times as she forced herself out of her light nap.

 

Roxas heard the soft sigh and gently squeezed Namine's hand before lightly stroking her skin again.

 

Namine kept her eyes open a crack, her sky-blue orbs falling on the hand that Roxas still held. She smiled weakly, guessing that he had stayed there with her the whole time. Of course he didn't have to stay with her, but of course he would object to leaving her after everything that had happened. The memories of earlier suddenly came back into her mind, momentarilly making her sad in her groggy state.

 

Roxas continued to his slow gesture as he kept his eyes on the TV, feeling the aura in the room shift slightly. He took in a breath softly through his nose as he blinked once, the noise from the TV filling his ears.

 

Namine bit her lip lightly, letting her eyes close again. No, those were not the thoughts that she wanted inside her head. She shifted her focus from the bad to the good, remembering how Roxas had cared for her. He had held her, stroked her cheek, even sang a song to her. How could she shove those aside as if they were nothing because of one bad thought? That was foolish, and she wasn't dumb enough to make that mistake. The comforting gesture from Roxas at that very moment brought back those memories, chasing away most of her sadness.

 

The aura changed again, Roxas noticing that it became lighter. He bit his lip subconciously, continuing to stroke Namine's hand lightly and watch the television.

 

Namine opened her eyes to halfway, her gaze falling on the boy in front of her. His head was close to hers, only a little bit lower so it didn't block the view of the television in front of her. And idea came to mind, and she went through with it without hesitation. Namine leaned her head forward, planting a light kiss on the back of Roxas' spiky head.

 

Roxas felt himself smile at the gesture, his stroking stopping as he squeezed Namine's hand.
