KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Namine felt herself become a little shy, and she tried to push away that emotion the best that she could. Her content smile stayed on her lips, her right hand staying lightly on his wrist.

 

Roxas kept his smile on his face as he leaned forward, connecting his lips with hers for a brief moment before slowly pulling back, his soft smile returning.

 

Namine smiled softly at Roxas, her eyes closing halfway in comfort as she gazed at him. "You're too sweet," she said softly, recognizing how much he was caring for her at that moment.

 

Roxas' smile grew a little at her words, his emotions showing in his piercing blue eyes. He lifted the hand on her cheek to brush away some hair strands that were about to fall in her eyes. He then gently turned his hand to hold hers wrapped around his wrist.

 

Namine smiled softly as she let her eyes close, Roxas' hand lightly grabbing onto hers. His light touch made her feel happy, as if nothing was wrong. And she loved that feeling; it was a relief to forget about all the problems that had been brought upon them within the past day.

 

Roxas held her hand in his left hand gently, his eyes staying on her even though she had her eyes closed. He used his thumb to run over the back of her hand, lightly rubbing it as he felt a new aura in the room; a happy one.

 

Namine exhaled softly through her nose, feeling Roxas gently stroke her hand with his thumb. "I love you," she whispered, her soft blue eyes slowly opening and finding Roxas' piercing blue orbs again. She meant the words with all her heart, and though she understood that Roxas already knew her feelings, she wanted to say it aloud. It sounded nice the first time, so she said it again. "I love you so much."

"I love you too," Roxas whispered back, keeping his eyes with hers. He gently lifted her hand a little and lowered his head. His eyes closed as he kissed her hand, his lips leaving her skin a long second later. "More than you know." He opened his eyes again after the soft and heartfelt words left his mouth, finding her light blue orbs again.

Namine felt her soft blue eyes shine with happiness at the words, seeing through his actions how much he loved her. It was impossible to imagine that he loved her any more than he showed her, because the love he showed her was already so strong.

 

Roxas gazed into her eyes, offering her a sweet smile, his eyes reflecting the way he felt; happy (despite the situation) and loving.

 

Namine felt relaxed at Roxas' sweet smile, his blue eyes staring into hers. It was odd, this feeling he gave her. It was as if nothing else mattered anymore. Not sickness, pain, or sadness. All that mattered was them. And she loved that feeling.

 

Roxas kept his eyes locked with hers, blinking softly. He would've asked how she was feeling, but he didn't want to remind her of what had happened, especially because of the aura in the room. It felt so nice...peaceful; something neither of them had experienced in a long while.

 

Namine exhaled softly through her nose, her eyes falling shut for a moment. She didn't want to look away from Roxas, but she still felt pretty weak, and tired, so it was hard to keep her eyes open for that long and not need a break. It was a reminder of what had happened, but she decided to push that feeling aside, focusing on the peaceful aura that hung around them.

 

Roxas's smile faded a little, but it was still faintly there. He flitted his blue eyes down to her hand he was holding, putting one knee down on the floor, shifting from his squatting position in front of the couch. Roxas brought up his other hand and gently started running his fingers along Namine's skin, from the back of her hand and up her forearm.

 

Namine kept the faint smile on her lips, her eyes flitting open at Roxas' gentle movement. Her light-blue orbs followed the gentle stroking, the girl relaxing at the soft touch.

 

Roxas continued to rub Namine's arm, his fingers lightly and slowly trailing back down her arm. He exhaled softly in the silence, his eyes following his hand.

 

Namine felt as if she wanted to move, so that she could give Roxas a light kiss on the head. It was the least she could do after how well he had treated her, and was still treating her. But she felt as if she couldn't move, because the pain in her stomach was still too extreme.

 

Roxas's eyes followed his fingers still running lightly along Namine's skin, his mind wandering off somewhere else. He remembered how yesterday had affected his and Namine's relationship. Things had been somewhat...awkward, to put it simply. He hadn't known what to say or do to make it better, a little afraid of how Namine might've reacted after seeing him so upset and angry.

But today...today things were different. This morning had been a little off as well for both of them, but the whole thing with Jeff had somehow brought them closer than they had been already. Between Roxas and Namine now, everything was comfortable, natural...like before. He couldn't feel any tension anymore, and he was thankful for that. All there was now...was love.

 

Namine let her eyes flitter shut again, a few thoughts coming to her mind. Not about the bad things...but about Roxas, the boy she loved with all her heart. Yesterday, he had shown a different side of himself, and it was something that she really hadn't expected to see. But he was back to his normal self now, protecting and comforting her in a way that only he could. She could see in his eyes that he wanted to take away all of her pain, not just cover it up. Not just physical pain, but emotional as well. And though he couldn't heal the physical damage she had, he was doing a splendid job lifting her spirits.

Gosh, she loved him so much. That love was so strong, that she could never let it fade. No ammount of trouble could ever make her forget her love for Roxas, which was the only thing that mattered to her.

 

Roxas blinked, his ocean-blue eyes disappearing for a brief second. He wished he knew what was going to happen after this; what would happen once Namine recovered. But Roxas knew that he would stay by her side, taking care of her and comforting her in every possible way he could. He was going to do his best to make the emotional pain disappear, better than he seemed to be doing already. Roxas knew that he couldn't make Namine's stomach pain disappear by just being there, but he would be there anyway, helping her out when she needed it. He loved her too much to leave her alone to go through this, and far too much to let her suffer.
