KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Namine's lip quivered slightly as she moved her head, opening her eyes and gazing up at Roxas. "Can we move somewhere more comfortable?" she asked shakily, her eyes pleading.

 

Roxas met her gaze and nodded. "Of course," he said softly. "Would you rather have the couch or the bed?" he asked quietly. He would take her wherever she wanted to be, as long as she was comfortable.

 

"The couch is fine," Namine said softly, her sad eyes gazing up into his.

 

"Okay," Roxas whispered with a small nod, looking into her eyes for a second. He tore his eyes away from her sad ones as he shifted slightly to pick her up.

 

Namine exhaled softly, her head staying lightly against Roxas' shoulder. She moved her legs out from underneath her so Roxas could lift her, using up a lot of her energy to do so. A little more of her weight pressed against Roxas, since she couldn't support herself too well.

 

Roxas kept one knee against the tile floor as he moved one arm under Namine's legs and moved the other down to her back. He lifted her up as he started to stand, bringing her closer to him than she already was. He stood up straight and turned around with her in his arms, starting to walk out of the bathroom.

 

Namine leaned into Roxas as he held her in his arms, glad that he was there to carry her in times of need. She loved him so dearly...and that love would never die.

 

Roxas left the bathroom and started down the hall, glancing down at Namine. She looked so exhausted...weak...hurt...broken. He almost wanted to cry because of how much pain she seemed to be in. He looked back up, his eyes seeing the archway to the living room a few feet away.

 

Namine exhaled softly, feeling tears hovering behind her closed eyelids. Brokenness was the dominant feeling in her heart, though Roxas' care and compassion were fighting to overcome that emotion. She desperatly just wanted to get rid of the bad emotions and only feel the good ones; the ones that Roxas gave her.

 

Roxas bit his lip as he reached the doorway, turning and entering the living room silently. The TV was still on, some comedy on, though it was hardly time for any laughs. He made his way over to the couch, softly exhaling as he approached it. He looked down at Namine as he leaned forward, starting to set her down gently. She was very fragile right now, and he didn't want to break her.

 

Namine flitted her tear filled eyes open, her sky-blue eyes landing finding Roxas again. She could tell by his movements that he was very worried about her, but she couldn't find the strength to comfort him.

 

Roxas bit his lip when he met her gaze, setting her form down softly across the couch. Gosh, he loved her so much. He just wanted Namine to be happy again, cheerful...beaming. But he knew they were far from that right now, and they'd slowly make their way to that when the time was right.

 

Namine exhaled shakily, her form curling up slightly on the couch. She turned on her side, facing Roxas now. Her gaze fell to the floor as she raised one arm, wrapping it tightly around her waist to try and stop the pain.

 

Roxas squatted down in front of Namine, putting on hand on the couch cushion to steady himself so he wouldn't fall over. He lifted up his other hand and put it to Namine's cheek, wiping away the tear stains on her cheek with his thumb.

 

Namine opened her eyes partway, seeing that Roxas was in front of her. The light pressure he put on her cheek was comforting, and she greatly appreciated it. A very faint smile appeared on her lips for one second before vanishing completely.

OOC: I gotta go; I'm exhausted. Bye!

 

Once the tear stains were gone, Roxas quit stroking her cheek and let his hand rest there as he looked into her eyes. "I'm not going anywhere, Namine. I'll be right here, with you...always." His voice was soft and gentle, the words leaving him in a serious but loving tone.

OOC: Ugh, me too. I'm so tired...and I have to study for quizzes. D8 See you tomorrow!

 

Namine felt as if her heart would burst at his loving, gentle words, the tone of his voice alone making her heart flutter. A soft smile appeared on her lips, her light-blue eyes gazing back into Roxas'. "Thank you," she whispered, grateful for his love.

 

"Of course," Roxas whispered back softly, a small smile spreading across his lips at hers while he spoke. He wouldn't leave her side unless she requested some time alone, though he was pretty sure she didn't want that right now.

 

Namine slowly let her eyes close, gently lifting a hand away from her stomach. The pain was still there, and she felt as if she couldn't stand even if she wanted to. Still though, that wasn't why she moved her hand. She let her right hand come up slightly, gently resting it on the one that Roxas had placed on her cheek.

 

Roxas felt his small smile widen slightly at her touch. He gazed at her face, finding the faint smile that was still planted on her lips.
