KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Namine let herself lean into Roxas a little more, unable to keep herself up on her own. She let him hold some of her weight, the girl feeling miserable, sad, stressed, sick...and comforted.

 

Roxas let his lips leave Namine's hair as he leaned his head against hers, holding her closer. All he wanted to do was hold her; for her to know he was there for her, and always would be.

 

Namine felt her tears slowing, Roxas' tight embrace calming her down. She bit her lip lightly, staying in that position as she let Roxas hold her.

 

Roxas spoke as he exhaled. "You're alright," he breathed softly, trying to comfort her in the situation. She would be okay, because he'd be there for her, to support her and care for her when she needed him.

 

Namine nodded softly, her eyes opening partway as she stared at the floor, feeling dazed. All the feelings inside her were so jumbled up, leaving her confused in the wake of everything that was happening.

 

Roxas kept one of his arms around her as he brought the other to her arm closest to him. He kept his eyes on her as he let his fingers lightly stroked her arm.

 

Namine shivered slightly, both at the gentle touch and at a cold feeling that she suddenly had. She bit her lip lightly, the grip around her waist loosening a little.

 

Roxas pressed his lips together before exhaling softly, continuing to run his fingertips along her skin. Maybe he hadn't done that well with the pizza... Or was it Namine's stomach injury causing her to feel this way?

 

Namine dazedly blinked, her eyes wandering to the wall to her side. She sniffled, her nose runny because of the crying she had done.

 

Roxas looked down at Namine as he stroked her arm. "I'm sorry you have to deal with all of this," Roxas whispered to her. He really was, because she had to deal with so much at one time, which was highly unfair.

 

Namine slowly flitted her eyes up to Roxas for a moment, some whispered words leaving her lips. "I know," she kept her eyes on him for a second before flitting them back to the floor, feeling too weak to even keep her eyes raised for long.

 

For just that second when he met her eyes, Roxas could see so many things in them. Sadness, hurt, pain, sickness...comfort and appreciation. All of the emotions were jumbled, scattered but still there. He continued to hold Namine close as he rubbed her arm, trying to comfort her any way he could.

 

Namine weakly turned her head, letting her cheek rest more comfortably on Roxas. She felt so extremely sad at that moment, but she didn't want to cry, either. It felt as if her tears had run dry.

 

Roxas inhaled slowly and then exhaled his deep breath softly, staring at the wall. He couldn't find any words to make the situation better; all he could do was hold her and hope that was enough.

 

Namine turned herself slightly, only moving that little bit because that was all she could do. The pain in her stomach was too extreme for her to do anything but shift her position, facing a little, tiny bit more into Roxas now. She tightened the grip around her stomach again, her eyes closing at the pain.

 

Roxas lifted his hand from her arm when she turned slightly, and he put his other arm around her.

 

Namine felt her tears reappear at the pain, and she burried her head deeper into Roxas' shoulder. "It hurts really bad," she whispered, her voice muffled slightly.

 

Roxas closed his eyes at her words, instinctively holding her tighter. "I know..." he replied sadly. If this kept up, he would have to take her to a doctor. And then he would hunt down the jock that did this to her. He'd pay for what he was putting Namine through.

 

Namine sniffled again, her eyes closing both in pain and at the sadness in Roxas' voice. This was absolutely miserable...and there was nothing that either of them could do to make it end.

 

Roxas lowered his head a little. "You'll be okay, Namine," he quietly assured her, despite the pain he knew she was feeling. "I promise." He was saying it for her sake, as well as his own. She would be all right... He knew she would.
