KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

A faint smile appeared on Namine's sleeping lips, the girl recognizing a gentle presence that made her feel happy.

 

Roxas pulled away, looking down on Namine once more, a smile coming to his face a little at the sight of hers. Gently, he grabbed his bed covers and covered Namine up as she slept. He gazed down at her for a moment before silently wandering over to his dresser to find some clean clothes.

 

Namine exhaled softly through her nose, feeling a little bit of weight on her body. She moved her left hand slightly, pulling the blankets a little closer to her neck.

 

Roxas dug through his dresser drawers quietly as to not wake Namine. He found himself a pair of black sweatpants and a white t-shirt, along with some clean boxers. He put them on top of his dresser as he then started to search for some clothes for Namine.

 

Namine sucked in a breath, moving underneath the blankets as she tried to get more comfortable in her sleep. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly when she felt pain in her stomach, her body turning on its side as she curled up a little bit in discomfort.

 

Roxas found a pair of navy blue sweats for Namine to wear when she woke up, hoping they weren't too big for her. He then grabbed a t-shirt for her, closing the dresser drawer. He grabbed the clothes for her and turned around, walking over to the bed to lay them on the edge of the bed.

 

Namine pulled her knees a little closer to her upper body, the blankets shifting a little from her movement. The blonde girl snuggled her head into the pillow a little deeper, a soft sigh leaving her lips.

 

Roxas glanced up at Namine as he set the clothes down for her to wear later. Hopefully she would get all of the rest she needed. He turned around and went to his dresser, grabbing his clothes before heading toward the door. He held his clothes in one hand as he grabbed onto the doorknob, closing the door quietly and leaving it open a crack.

 

Namine inhaled softly, the discomfort fading as she kept her body still. With the pain being mitigated, she fell back into a deeper slumber, relaxing again.

Roxas walked down the hall, holding his clothes in one hand as he turned into the bathroom and shut the door to take a shower.

OOC: Yes, ma'am. I'll lead if you want me to. =)

 

OOC: That would be terrific. :3

After taking a hot shower and cleaning himself up, Roxas had gone downstairs to grab a snack while Namine slept up in his room. He had made himself a sandwich, eating it faster than he had expected. He sat down in the living room, watching the television as an hour or two went by. After sitting there for a while, he became thirsty and started toward the kitchen to grab himself a can of soda.

Namine shifted in her slumber again, rolling onto her back again. She had made several movements in the past few minutes, partially because of the discomfort in her stomach and wrists. The memories also haunted her in her dreams, though they couldn't really be called nightmares. True, they were horrible memories, but at the same time, Namine felt disconnected somehow.

Roxas entered the kitchen and approached the fridge, his eyes scanning the shelves inside as he looked for a can of soda. His blue eyes spotted them near the bottom and he leaned down, grabbing a can from the shelf and then straightening, shutting the refridgerator door. He suddenly felt himself losing grip on the soda, the cold can slipping out of his fingers. Roxas winced when it hit the floor, making a little noise from impact. He sighed as his shoulders slumped, bending down and picking up the soda.

 

Namine suddenly sat upright in the bed, her eyes slowly flittering open as she looked at the wall in front of her. She felt momentarilly confused, but then she realized that Roxas must have laid her down in his bed. A faint recollection of the events earlier entered her mind, starting from the time at the park to Roxas carrying her in his arms. Namine sighed softly, the memories unpleasant. She raised her hands to her head and straightened her hair, aware that her wrists rang out in pain when she twisted them a little.

 

Roxas looked at the can, pretty sure that soda would go flying everywhere since he just dropped it. He bit his lip slightly as he tapped the top of the can, hoping to settle any fizz that had gathered from the sudden drop to the floor. A little cautious, Roxas put his finger on the top of the can and pulled on it, opening it. He squeezed his eyes shut when soda suddenly flew everywhere, spraying all over his face and his white T-shirt. He set the can down once it was done spraying soda all over him and wiped at his face, looking down at his shirt as he flicked his wrists, getting soda off his hands. Roxas sighed, his shoulders slumping.

 

Namine turned herself to move her legs off the side of the bed, suddenly feeling pain shoot throughout her tummy area. She sucked in a breath and felt tears appear in her eyes, the pain still quite extreme. Cautiously, she set her feet on the bed and brought her knees close to her chest, huddling in a ball. The girl wrapped her arms around her knees, ignoring the fact that they were still covered partly with the blanket. She lowered her head to her knees, letting her cheek rest on top of them as she shut her eyes again.

 

"Ugh," Roxas let out in a disgusted tone. He could feel the soda drying on his skin, his face beginning to feel sticky, along with his hands, and he was sure that the soda was going to stain on his shirt. Terrific, he thought sarcastically, rolling his eyes. Roxas turned and started out of the room, bringing his hands to the back of his neck as he grabbed at the fabric of his shirt, starting to pull off his now dirty shirt.

 

Namine turned her body slightly, letting her curled up form fall back down onto the comfortable bed. Namine opened her eyes partway, laying on her side as she gazed at the wall. She felt well rested after her nap, but she also felt dazed from all the things that had happened within the last 48 hours.

 

Roxas brought the shirt off his back, pulling it over his head and slipping his arms out of the short sleeves as he walked toward the laundry room to grab some Spray 'N Wash to get the stain out. He just had to get sticky, didn't he? Right after showering, too.
