KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Roxas moved on his crutches to his bed and slowly sat himself down. It'd be harder on his leg if he stood as he waited for Namine.

Kairi slept lightly, her stomach keeping her aware of her condition.

 

Sora shut his eyes, trying to fall asleep. He hated saying goodbyes, and for now, he just wanted to be unaware of reality.

Namine walked up to the entrance and through the doors, thankful that Kairi had taught her how to break into houses. Kairi had told her about how she had learned, but Namine forgot about that now. She was lucky that Roxas' room wasn't too messy, so she found his clothes pretty easily. And his winter coat too; he would definitly need that. It was sunny out, but it was still pretty cold.

 

Roxas kept his hands on his crutches as he sat on the side of the bed. His eyes watched his leg as he moved it slowly, being careful. He was going to have to get used to this.

 

Sora inhaled softly, his breathing pretty relaxed despite the tension he felt.

Namine stepped into the elevator a moment before the doors shut.

 

Roxas bit his lip as he stared down at the cast. The thing was ugly, and he hated it. But he knew that he'd have to deal for a while.

 

Namine exit the elevator and started down the hall towards the room, wondering what it would be like in there. She had no idea if Sora was even awake, or how he would take this new turn of events. She hoped he was okay.

Sora stayed silent, keeping his eyes shut as he lied in bed.

 

Roxas glanced up as he continued to move his foot slowly, his eyes falling on his friend. Even though Sora said everything would be all right, his expression said otherwise. He looked a little hurt, sad. Roxas looked back down at his foot, continuing to nibble on his lip.

 

Namine slowed down as she approached the door and put one hand on the door knob, quietly opening it and entering the room.

Sora kept his eyes shut, trying very hard to fall asleep. But, of course, now that he wanted to, he couldn't. He wasn't sure how this goodbye would go; he knew that Roxas didn't want to leave him alone, but what other option was there? There was no way that Sora would ask him to stay. That would be selfish.

 

Roxas turned his head to the door, still biting his lip as his eyes fell on Namine's blonde hair. He quit moving his leg, his eyes falling down on it again as he let it rest on the floor.

 

"Hey," Namine greet Roxas with a gentle smile as she softly shut the door behind her. The bag hung in her left hand as she approached Roxas, glancing at Sora for a moment before shifting her sights back to Roxas.

 

Roxas looked up and returned her soft smile. "Hey," he greeted back.

 

Namine approached the bed and gently laid the bag on the bed next to Roxas. "Here're your clothes," she said, the small smile still staying on her face.

 

Roxas glanced at the bag. "Thanks," he said, looking up at her. He shifted his sight to his crutches and slowly pushed himself up so he could go and get changed. The bathroom was across the hall, so he wouldn't have to go that far, thankfully.

 

Namine nodded softly. "Sure." She looked toward the door for a moment, and then at Roxas. "Do you want me to go sign you out awhile?"

 

"If you want to, sure," Roxas said with a nod.

 

"Okay," Namine nodded again, smiling softly down at Roxas. She backed away and waited for him to stand up so she could hold the door for him.

 

Roxas balanced himself as he reached over and grabbed the bag that held his clothes off the bed. He slid it over his shoulder and then grabbed his right crutch as he leaned on it, now balancing evenly. He looked over at Sora, who had his eyes closed. "I'll see you later, man." Roxas turned his head to Namine and started toward her on his crutches.

 

Sora opened his eyes up and looked at Roxas. "See ya." Sora said, shifting his gaze from Roxas to Namine, smiling softly.

Namine softly returned Sora's smile and started toward the door.

 

Roxas smiled slightly and looked down at his feet as he moved toward the door, a little bit behind Namine as she walked up to it.

 

Namine pulled the door open and held it for Roxas, patiently watching the boy approach.

Sora silently watched.
