KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Namine exhaled in relief when she saw Roxas standing up, glad to see that he wasn't hurt. If he got hurt protecting her, she would feel extremely guilty.

Jeff stared back into Roxas' eyes, knowing that he had to surrender. He flitted his eyes back to his friends, seeing that they were now rising to their feet, and they were looking up at him, watching him to see what he would do. Jeff silently motioned for them to follow him, and they did, all of them turning around and running past Namine, heading out of the alley and fleeing the scene.

 

Before Jeff and his friends completely left the alley, Roxas had enough anger and adrenaline to get in one more attack. Roxas ran over to one side of the alley, grabbing a small metal bar. Where he was aiming, it wouldn't do too much damage. He picked it up and found his target, hurling the metal bar at Jeff's legs. The metal twirled horizontally in the air, and successfully hit its target, colliding with the back of Jeff's legs.

 

Jeff let out a yell at the impact, the hard metal pole stinging his legs when it made impact. He grunted and fell down, barely able to put his arms in front of him to slow his fall. "Get back here!" He snapped at his friends, only to get no response. The three cowardly teens continued to run, leaving their friend behind as the left the area.

 

Roxas kept his eyes locked on Jeff's form, starting to walk toward the jock. He had some advice to give the teen, for Jeff's own sake.

 

Jeff grunted and pushed off the ground slightly, putting one foot underneath him. He furrowed his brows slightly as he turned his head, seeing Roxas coming toward him.

Namine had been watching Jeff, but her eyes locked onto Roxas when she saw him moving closer to the quarterback. She silently wondered what he was doing, but she couldn't find her voice. Gripping her stomach more tightly, she turned her body a little to follow Roxas' movements, trying to figure out exactly what he was thinking.

 

Roxas had his hands slightly clenched into fists as he approached the teen. His ego was bigger than his common sense, and Roxas was about to change that. The blond walked up to the guy on the ground and knelt down next to him on one knee. He grinned at Jeff for a second before the smile vanished into thin air, Roxas suddenly throwing his hardest punch at the quarterback.

OOC: I'm giving you a chance to react. But I'm not quite done just yet. x3 Bear with me for a minute or two.

 

Namine felt her jaw drop in surprise, seeing Roxas hit Jeff very hard. She knew that he deserved it, but still, it was surprising to actually see.

Jeff yelled out in pain, his eyes shutting as he felt the power of Roxas' punch knock his head into the wall to his left. He furrowed his brows in anger, the slug having been the most powerful pain he had felt...even more than in any of the football games he had played. Or from any of the beatings his father had given him when he was growing up, for that matter. The blonde quarterback forced his eyes open, immediatly finding Roxas staring at him.

Roxas let his elbow rest on his right knee as he glared at Jeff, his blue eyes piercing through him. "Don't ever touch Namine again," he threatened. "Or else you'll have to deal with me. Understand?" He kept his blazing blue eyes on the teen, hoping he set his head straight. If Jeff ever touched anyone he cared about, most importantly Namine, he'd knock his head in even harder than he already had.

 

Jeff nodded slightly, blinking once to clear the fog in his head. He clearly understood Roxas' words, and he had no intention of ever messing with the teen again. Even if Namine was a very beautiful girl, she wasn't worth it in his eyes. After this whole experience, he doubt he would be going after any girls for a little while, anyway.

Namine sucked in a breath as she sat herself back, sitting loosely with her legs crosses as she watched the scene. She had heard the seriousness in Roxas' voice, and her heart had skipped a beat with the threat. She kept her light blues eyes on him as she wrapped her arms around her waist, still in pain from the strong kick she had recieved earlier.

 

Roxas jerked his head to the side, motioning out of the alley. "Now get out of here, Jeff," he advised him seriously, his eyes still staring daggers at the jock. He kept his glare on him for a moment before standing up straight and turning around, heading back toward Namine.

 

Jeff took in Roxas' advice, and for once, didn't give a smart remark. He saw the anger in Roxas' eyes, and he figured it would be better just to obey. Jeff quickly pushed himself off the ground, limping his first few steps because of the pain from the metal bar. After he got used to it, he walked faster, wanting to get away before Roxas changed his mind and beat him to a pulp.

Namine kept her eyes on Roxas as she watched him walk towards her, her gaze momentarilly flitting over to Jeff as she saw the teen disapear from sight. She was glad to see him go, preferring not to have any more action in one day.

 

Roxas quickened his pace, jogging toward Namine's form. He approached her, kneeling down beside her. His hands gently rested on both sides of her head as he looked at her, concern in his blue eyes. "Are you okay, baby?" he asked in a shaky tone, the words leaving his mouth without thought.

 

Namine let herself relax into Roxas' gentle touch, feeling a sense of relief when he lightly placed his hands on either side of her face. "I am now," she answered, her voice a little shaky as well. She felt tears fill her eyes again as she gazed into Roxas' gentle eyes, all the emotions that she had felt earlier rising up to the surface.

 

A breath left Roxas as he moved one of his hands to her forehead, brushing away her bleach blonde bangs from her eyes before moving his hand back to its previous position. He looked into her eyes, seeing the tears at the rims of her light blue orbs. He closed his eyes as he leaned his forehead against hers, a breath leaving him. He wouldn't let any creep touch her again, he vowed on it.

 

Namine exhaled with a sigh of relief, feeling comforted by Roxas' presence. She leaned forward slightly as she pressed her lips against his for a brief moment. Then she moved back to her previous position, her eyes shutting as she let her forehead stay connected with his.

 

Roxas let one of his thumbs stroke Namine's cheek lightly as they sat there, in the alley just outside the park. He could care less about the location though, as long as she was finally safe from those jerks, that was all that mattered.

 

Namine felt herself melt at the gentle touch, her tears finally leaving her eyes as she cried softly. She felt so many emotions in her heart. Sadness. Pain. Hurt. Care. Love. Relief. The blonde let the tears slide down her cheeks as she kept her eyes closed, so relieved that Roxas was there with her.

 

Roxas opened his eyes a little when he felt wetness, his stroking continuing while he wiped away her tears. "It's alright," he assured her softly, closing his eyes again.

 

Namine inhaled through her nose, her tears gently continuing to flow as Roxas wiped at her tears. She knew that things were okay now; her tears were mostly from the relief, although there was some sadness and fear in them as well.

 

Roxas stopped his stroking as he lifted his head off of hers and angled it up slightly, his lips finding her forehead for a moment before they left her skin. He looked at her with concerned eyes, gently wiping at her tears as they continued to flow.
