KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Namine gently moved her hand, lifting it off of his cheek and lightly rubbing his forehead as she brushed some of his spikes out of his eyes.

 

Roxas exhaled softly through his nose, the gesture calming him a little.

After closing his eyes in frustration, Roxas heard Smith's words enter his ears.

"Oh? You want something, sweetcheeks?"

"Don't call her that," Roxas said without thought, looking up angrily at the man. But Smith ignored him, continuing to talk to Namine, verbally abusing her. It drove Roxas mad, and the next thing he knew, Namine had kicked the man, and was lying on the floor.

"Stupid, worthless girl!" he cried as he regained his balance. "I'm going to end your existence first."

Roxas' fist tightened a little suddenly.

That did it.

Roxas felt energy rush through his Keyblades from his anger as he suddenly shot forward, hollering at the top of his lungs. "Get away from her!" He was suddenly swinging at Smith and not letting up, hearing the man's cries and moans in pain, which only made him want to strike him more, and he did. Roxas pushed him up against the wall, screaming in his face. "Do you know who you're dealing with now?! Never underestimate a Nobody!"

 

Namine kept her light blue eyes on Roxas, continuing to stroke his forehead over though his hair was out of his face. She exhaled softly, her eyes momentarilly falling to the floor. Then, out of the corner of her eye, she saw his fist tighten again. Sadness appeared in her eyes as she switched hands, letting her left hand run over his forehead as she lightly placed her right hand over his fist.

 

Roxas slashed across the man's chest and the next thing he knew, Smith was dead. And Roxas was happy about it; the thug deserved to die, especially after what he did to Namine, and said to her. The blond found himself turning around and releasing his Keyblades as he found Namine's form with his piercing blue eyes, the anger suddenly leaving him as he went over and knelt next to her form.

Roxas tightened fist loosened at the gentle touch, the gesture seeming to go in sync with his dream as he relived the moment he and Namine embraced.

 

Namine bit her lip lightly, her gaze falling onto Roxas' fist. It wasn't as tight as it was a moment ago, and she was relieved at that fact. She gently turned her hand a little, running her fingers lightly over the back of his had as she focused her gaze on that movement.

 

Roxas inhaled a soft breath, his tension easing as his nightmare faded a little. The stroking of his forehead and his hand seemed to relax him a little, Roxas being slightly aware of it as he slowly felt himself coming out of his slumber.

 

Namine stayed silent and let her hand move off Roxas' forehead, gently laying it on his cheek as she gazed at the sleeping boy. His expression seemed different than it had a few moments ago...almost as if he were calming down. Well, whatever was going on, Namine was glad that he seemed more at peace now.

 

Roxas exhaled quietly, his hand loosening completely as he stretched his fingers and wrapped them around the hand that had been on his.

 

Namine smiled faintly at the kind gesture, her eyes falling on their hands. Now she was sure that Roxas knew she was there, and she was glad. She loved him so dearly, and nothing could ever change that. Not even what had happened yesterday.

 

Roxas held the hand tightly in his as he exhaled another soft breath, starting to wake up. He could feel a gentle presence, and it was welcoming.

 

Namine blinked softly, her eyes momentarilly falling to the floor. Some of her blond hair came into her eyes as she looked down, suddenly being reminded over the occurences of that day once again.

 

Roxas took in a deep breath, releasing it once the air entered his lungs. He kept his hold on the hand that was in his as he grew closer to conciousness.

 

Namine slowly took away her left hand, letting it come off of Roxas' cheek as she pulled some of her hair out of her face. She shut her eyes halfway, gazing at the floor as she tried to forget the nasty thoughts.

 

Roxas slowly opened his eyes, blinking once to clear his vision. Within his sight he saw a familiar blonde in front of him, and he knew then that the gentle presence had been her. But her expression seemed to be saying something different, because she didn't look too happy, which caused Roxas to look at her in concern, a little groggy from just waking up.

 

Namine gently held onto Roxas' hand, moving her thumb slightly as she started to stroke it lightly. She shut her eyes for a moment, the silence peaceful and eery at the same time. A soft breath left her lips as she sat there, unaware that Roxas was awake.

 

Roxas looked down at their hands together right next to his face, feeling comforted by her gentle stroking. But he felt that she was the one that needed to be comforted, and he could tell by the expression she was holding on her features. Slowly and quietly, Roxas leaned his head forward a little and brought his lips to Namine's skin, closing his eyes.

 

Namine slowly opened her eyes when she felt the light kiss, her soft blue eyes falling on Roxas again. She slowly stopped stroking his hand with her thumb, getting chills from his gentle kiss.

 

Roxas' lips left her skin and he opened his gentle blue eyes, finding her light blue.

 

When Namine's soft blue eyes connected with Roxas' gentle blue orbs, she felt a sense of relief in her heart. Of course; the fierceness hadn't come back, and the gentleness was there. She was relieved that the Roxas she loved was the one staring back at her.

 

Roxas' lips formed a soft smile as he looked into her eyes, grasping her hand a little tighter. She looked well-rested, and he knew that he was, especially since he woke up to Namine's beautiful face.
