KH - Fast Food Madness! V2

Namine took a few steps out of the car, a cool gust of air meeting her as she stood by and waited. Some of her blonde hair blew into her face, and she weakly brought up a hand and tucked it behind her ear, not caring much at that moment how she looked.

Sora kindly thanked the cab driver for the ride before he climbed out after Kairi, putting his wallet into his back pocket when he got out. He stepped away from the taxi and watched it pull away, wondering how weird that driver thought they were. They all were pretty worn, especially him and Roxas. The blood was pretty obvious on Sora's white shirt, but he didn't really care. He would make sure his friends were settled and then he would take care of it. A soft breath left his lips as he walked up to his house, reaching into his pocket and pulling out his key.

 

Kairi crossed her arms when the chilly air hit her form as she followed Sora up the path to his house. She was afraid she'd remember the moments earlier that day that they had all experienced in those two rooms, and suddenly wondered if anything was broken.

Roxas sighed softly, both physically and mentally exhausted. He walked forward a few steps, putting his hand softly on Namine's upper back and gently motioning for her to go up to the house. They all needed sleep, and hopefully everything would settle out in the morning.

 

Sora inserted the key into the door and twisted it slightly, hearing a clicking sound when it unlocked. He pushed it open, the house completely dark. The brunette raised his right left hand and hit a few of the light switches by the inside of the door, light flooding the area. His eyes immediatly saw the aftermath of the battle, though it wasn't too bad. Oh well, he'd have to worry about that later. He stepped inside so the others could follow him.

Namine slowly turned her head at the gentle touch, immediatly understanding what Roxas was motioning for her to do. She slowly started toward the door, coming up behind Kairi.

 

Kairi followed Sora inside, her shoes meeting broken glass when she first walked in the door. She looked down, seeing a picture of her and Sora back in January on the floor...broken. She bit her lip and turned her head forward as she stepped in farther so Namine and Roxas could get in.

Roxas walked two steps behind Namine, the chilly wind blowing his blond spikes in the direction it was traveling.

 

Namine stepped in behind Kairi, briefly noticing the broken picture that still lied on the floor.

Sora stood over at the other end of the room, a few feet away from the door. He saw his friends entering the house, and he finally spoke, knowing that it was necessary now. "Kairi, Namine, you two can take the beds." He said softly, his eyes falling on the two girls.

 

Roxas stepped inside, grabbing the doorknob and shutting it so the chilly air couldn't enter the home any longer.

Kairi nodded, her tired eyes on Sora. She kept her arms crossed, still a little cold from being outside without a coat.

 

Namine nodded slightly at Sora's words, taking them in.

"And Roxas, you can take the couch," Sora continued, his eyes falling on the blond boy behind the two girls. He knew that the couch wasn't the best place, but it was their only other option since the girls were using the two beds.

 

"Okay," Roxas replied softly with a nod. He could care less where he slept, as long as he slept.

"Where are you gonna sleep?" Kairi asked Sora curiously, her eyebrows slightly furrowed.

 

Sora shrugged slightly at the question his eyes falling on Kairi again. "Don't worry about it," he told her quietly, gently motioning with his head down the hall. "Just go get some sleep, okay?"

Namine tiredly pushed some of her blond hair behind her ear, her eyelids feeling heavier as she felt more exhausted.

 

Kairi nodded, too tired to object. She let her eyes fall to the floor as she forced her feet to carry her down the hall to get some rest.

Roxas flitted his eyes from Sora to the girls, watching them with exhausted eyes.

 

Namine exhaled softly through her nose, her eyes falling to the floor as she followed Kairi down the hall toward the bedrooms.

Sora silently watched the girls leave, glad that Kairi hadn't objected further. She must have been exhausted, and that was perfectly logical since she had gone through so much.

 

Kairi inhaled softly as she passed the bathroom, heading toward Sora's room. Sleep was calling her, and she couldn't help but giving in to it.

Roxas' eyes followed Namine's form as she left, so many different thoughts running through his mind that he couldn't sort them out to even grasp them completely. He figured it was just his exhaustion taking over him mentally, but moreso physically.

 

Namine kept her eyes lowered as she saw Kairi heading toward Sora's room, not surprised. She turned right and walked into the guest bedroom, softly shutting the door behind her. A soft breath left her lips as she approached the bed, tiredly pulling down the covers before laying down underneath them. Her head felt heavy in the pillows and her eyes quickly fell shut, the girl leaving conciousness.

Sora turned around slighty toward the closet and opened it up, pulling out two fleece blankets and some pillows.

 

Kairi entered Sora's room and shut the door behind her, leaving it cracked slightly as she walked toward the bed. She slipped off her shoes before sitting down on the bed, and then lying down right after. She pulled the covers over her, snuggling up under them tiredly as her head of red hair rested against the pillow. In only a few seconds, she slipped from conciousness.

Roxas turned around a little and locked the front door, though he knew they were safe from those thugs. But he was still cautious after everything, and wasn't going to take any chances.

 

Sora heard Roxas lock the door, and he was grateful, knowing that they were thinking the same thing. He exhaled softly and walked through the doorway into the living room, heading toward the couch and setting down the pillows and cover for Roxas.

 

Roxas turned around and caught Sora in the living room. He sighed tiredly, bringing a hand up to rub his eyes. He really needed some rest, and couldn't wait for the sleep to pull him under.

 

Sora finished laying out the stuff on the couch and then turned around, sighing softly when he saw the loveseat. It was small, but it was his only option for the night. Whatever; as long as he slept, he would be fine. He headed over in that direction, setting up his makeshift bed.

 

Roxas walked into the room, approaching the couch and sitting down. He grabbed the blanket Sora laid out for him and lied back, his head falling on the pillow. He would've said thanks, but he was too tired to even talk. Roxas let out a quiet breath, his eyes closing as unconciousness started to take him under.

 

Sora set himself down on the chair and laid himself down, his knees folded slightly as he let his head sink into the pillow. He exhaled softly, quickly falling out of conciousness.

 

Roxas heard himself let out one last breath before going unconcious.
